Truth is, she actually can have a baby if she wants one. Go to a sperm bank. No need for handmaids tale. Until science perfects an artificial womb, and egg donors are as easy to find as sperm donors, guys who want kids are at a distinct disadvantage here. But what she really wants is a man to share those parental duties. Which is fine, commendable, even. But if she's willing to go so far as to advocate for forcing men to knock up women like her, then, well, they'll probably not make great dads after being essentially raped into fatherhood.

Also, she doesn't get the irony here: she has a niece. That means either a brother or a sister figured out the secret to finding a partner and did the one thing her "high iq" couldn't do, and the one thing that evolution has programmed every living thing to do. But she doesn't talk to them about how they did it. Instead she makes a facebook post with her "woe is me" tale. Truth is, she probably did talk to them, and they said exactly what she refuses to hear: "your standards are too high, you're looking for the wrong man." And she stuck her fingers in her ears. Easier to post and get a bunch of validation from strangers that really she's totally fine and it's the universe's fault she failed to do something bacteria manage to do.

NB: also, it's "My niece and me". My first instinct was to make fun of her supposed high iq, but I suspect it's an even deeper defect. She puts herself first, before even the niece she supposedly loves, which is perhaps more accurate of the way she perceives the world, than following a simple grammar rule.

I'm chuckling about this particular woman's mentality illustrates so much that's at conflict in discussions in the past century.

Let's start with social darwinism: The concept that not only skin color and other appearance is subject to selection, but mental choices as well or for a better word, "character". Hmmm, I wonder where I have heard that word before? The content of a person's character...

Nearly every person who says "I hope someone who thinks like you doesn't breed!" is engaging in a notion of racial selection of dominant mental traits.

We know certain mental traits are absolutely genetic such as sociopath and psychopathy. That's why I wisely ran for the hills when a girlfriend told me she was bipolar. I'm not a polygamist!

Next, she asks for limits on chad's sexual behavior to excuse her own responsibility but those controls are two fold: 1) It would call for limiting her own choices as well (it's called Patriarchy!) 2) If these men were forced to marry young to get laid, even if she was a top-tier pretty high IQ woman, these men might have chosen someone else anyhow since she'd be just one chicken in the roost. 3) She claims she had plenty of marriage proposals from ideal men but turned them down due to "strong and independent". 4) @First-light If she's so high IQ and "strong and independent", why can't she just use her brains to grab one of these men now? Why are so many "strong and independent" women "feeling" a need for a protector/provider?

@Land_of_the_losers I refer to her as a radfem based upon her posts on X I read plus she's not submissive nor desiring a man to lock her up in the kitchen where she'll be safe. She wants to be bossy but yet also supported which shows that "feminism" is a movement of women's entitlement, not equality, hence why it's called womanism, not egalitarianism.

Regarding civilization and imminent doom: I chuckle that about 2 decades ago I read some snide feminist claim "women's rights are human rights" or "countries that have more women's rights are more westernized/developed!" Yeah, that's true. Plus more developed nations also tended to have other things such as decadence, white guilt, and so on. Rome did pretty well at one time also. They associated unchecked vices of developed civilization with what had actually produced them. Ironically, it was western men, the Patriarchy, that produced all of the goodies they take for granted and now they're griping they have to work 50 hours/week for "the man" to afford a condo on a payment plan.

It really reminds me of the one dating profile I saw a year or two ago in which the woman says she wasn't able to find a partner because she was in grad school. Which is like saying I wasn't able to take a dip because I was at the swimming pool all afternoon.

I was thinking "Hey, miss- I know I'm a layman who lacks common sense, but did you know that the kinds of men who go to dental school might become dentists? And the kinds of men in engineering school might become engineers? And the kinds of men in law school might go into law? Etc etc etc?" Ahh, but no. She wanted the man with the already-built career so that she can move in to his already-built dreamhouse.

Edit: This woman's complaint is so flagrantly silly, it beggars credibility. It turns out that other people have been controlling her vagina all this time.

I was thinking the same thing. Since she is smarter than the rest of us, she would have out smarted the female competition to land a man and also used her "smarts" to outwit/trick us simple men to put a ring on it. I am trying to understand what went wrong? She had the system gamed.
