Funny how she made a beeline for the dudes that already made it, have resources so naturally she wants it to become "her money".
Because lets face it, no woman that ever lived considers anything a man has to be only his.
No humblebrag, but as a man with resources I have to be very careful who I allow to be close to me. I'm sure other dudes in here are doing the same, because the moment they suss out you can do things for them, they totally change their tune to the siren call of "lemme try to fool this fucker and extract maximum value".
Would I want to be like I was in my 20's, struggling and with nothing? Not really, but at the same time at least I knew back then whoever was into me was there for what I was, not just my wallet.
Its depressing sometimes, honestly. I know, play the world's smallest violin, but I worked hard to have what I have -- I just thought perhaps simplistically at the start that it would be a net benefit. Now I'm not so sure.

I won't put words into moorekom's mouth, but I'll tell you why I think he's right. 2 things:
She wants older and mature. What's left out is, he also needs to be tall, handsome, charming (where is her Prince Charming)? Newsflash to this woman: every woman out there would crawl through hot coals to land a man like this. A guy in his 30s-40s who's wealthy, handsome, and charming is at the peak of his SMV and RMV. And if she's a rapidly declining 30 year old, there are plenty of women out there who can offer much more. Her best time to snag such a guy was in her early to mid-twenties. And even then, the odds are low because the competition is fierce, but they were her best odds. If she doesn't realize this and settle for the type of man she can attract now, then she's going to keep waiting for her Prince Charming, and each passing year means less of a chance of attracting one. Then she'll hit her 40s, and even an average man will be out of her reach.
Women expect things to be handed to them all their life, so they assume that a rich guy is akin to a rich woman: some man gives her money and she gets to spend it (almost all of the women in the Fortune 500 richest people got their money through inheritance or divorce). Sure, if a man has that life of leisure (some guys from inherited wealth live that type of life) then he has plenty of time to focus on a woman. But for guys who work for a living, making a million dollars a year entails putting your career ahead of almost everything else in your life.
If she's looking for a guy who earns money like he works 80-100 hours a week, but doesn't actually work those hours. Good luck. Tell me where he is and I'll ask him for a job :-) Barring that, whatever rich man she does find, she'll drop because "he never gives her any attention".
tl;dr her requirements are exceedingly self-contradictory, and even if some man managed to encompass all of the contradicting traits she requires, that man has his pick of basically any woman on the market. And she, being a rapidly declining 30-something, will not be his 1st or even his 100th pick for wife. OTOH, they might pump and dump her a few times, which will only serve to convince her that her prince charming is just around the corner and she shouldn't settle when she's come this close to landing one...

She may possess the knowledge of hypergamy, but she clearly lacks the self awareness regarding what she can get. She wants a provider who is at least in his 30s, but the 30+ guys who can provide a comfortable life and be her prince charming aren't marrying 30-year-old women.

I'm wondering if terms such as "redpill", "alpha male", and "hypergamy" have become mainstream now due largely to insecure feminists and media pundits spreading them albeit disingenuously. Modern feminine arrogance means that they openly brag about being hypergamous ("Of COURSE I want a REAL man whose taller/earns more than me! Who doesn't?") In the past, discreet and I daresay, smarter women would hope to trick handsome/wealthy men into commitment by appearing to be kind and virtuous.
For example: Some taller guys here say they're offended by short women saying they won't talk to someone less than 6 feet similar to, perhaps, a well chested woman who might get turned off by men who stare at their chests and mock "flat chested women." A smart man, or woman, isn't going to put this preference up in front in his dating profile since he/she can always just quietly filter them out later under some other pretense.
