@Typo-MAGAshiv This is on the border for weekday content, but she merely says "Don't settle" so was unsure. So playing it safe. Did I make the right call?
This one makes me wish we could do multiple flairs but I understand there's likely a technical limitation (such as folder structure). Here's some others I think could have applied "Strong and Independent woman" but yet also "single woman tears" (because she wants a man to make her life comfortable), and "inspin tears".
She popped up on my feed and I enjoyed her videos as she calmly and even sympathetically had a video diary of just ordinary life as something chronically single people go through. I went through her life in my 20's so I empathize but with a core difference: I never said back then "don't settle!!!" although I did recognize when I reached 30 that rules in my frame did require compromise and therefore "settling". In other words, I came to a realization I needed to "settle".
Every time I read a woman on X saying she refuses to settle, I point out that we ALL settle one way or another. We either choose free will, or free will makes the choice for us. Playing as I type this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6pn8O7nXKY
To anyone who says "She seems so kind and sympathetic" and her posts are full of kind comments. Imagine what comments a man would receive if he made posts like this.

As far as weekday vs weekend? Yes. She was explaining more than complaining, and even made it sound like she wasn't really looking.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 4d ago
I have a few other videos of her simply complaining, but I posted the one where she "explains" how tough it is to live on her own and closing up with "I'm so proud!" to show the level of denial that these women engage in. Knowing what it takes to get Rule 5, though, I'll keep this in mind moving forward to make sure I get things over the finish line, so to speak.

The situationship situation is very telling. Sweetheart, you chased tingles instead of a real relationship for three whole years, and now you're crying because you're single. My sympathy is significantly diminished.

It took her only THIRTY THREE YEARS to move out of her mom's house and into her own place.
What a fucking accomplishment. Yay for you and shit. Jesus Christ lol.

I tried to stay out of my parents' place the minute I turned 18. Yes, I was a college student (at their expense) and lived in dorms and earned meager income from part time jobs so I wasn't fully independent from them, and that is how it was until grad school. I never claimed to be 'independent' from them at the time. I grudgingly took money from them when needed (setting out on your own involves a lot of up-front costs).
And the reason is that they are just incredibly annoying people to live with. They're demanding, results-oriented and idleness is something they will not abide. If I ever had free time, they would give me some project to do: 1. Study, 2. Clean room, 3. Constructive extracurricular activity for the sake of resume-building. Anything else was 'doing nothing' and, therefore, disastrous for us. My senior year of high school, when I actually got a fabulous girlfriend, I had to keep her a secret because they'd tell me not to waste time being with her.
Mainly, I got tired of the arbitrary and capricious micromanagement they would set for their kids, well into their kids' adulthood. I guess I agree with the principle of "your house, your rules" so I let them do this and their rules grated on me. Some parents simply can't see their kids as anything EXCEPT children, and this was something my parents were like until all of their kids were into their thirties.
There was one brief and memorable period in the summer of '97 where I was in transition from college to grad school, so I used my parent's house as a temporary staging area to rearrange my stuff until I secured another place to live in the fall. To take care of an entry requirement for September, I had to take some kind of pre-calculus brush-up math course at a community college. And, every evening, I would come back and it would go like this, nearly verbatim:
"Did you do your homework?"
"No. Not yet."
"Shouldn't you do it?"
"Yes, I should."
"So when are you going to do it, then?"
"...I'll do it when I feel like getting around to it."
And the next night:
"Did you do your homework?"
"No. Not yet."
"Shouldn't you do it?"
"Yes, I should."
"When are you going to do it, then?"
"...When I feel like it. Ugh."
And the next night.
"Did you do your homework?"
"NOT YET, no."
"Shouldn't you do it?"
"Yes. I haven't forgotten. I know it exists, yes."
"So when are you going to do it?"
"...WHEN. I. FEEL. LIKE. IT. Why are you-- like-- every night, it's been like this??"
"Well we just don't want you to fail your class."
"I'll do my homework when I feel like it. I don't need a reminder."
"You'd better not fail this class."
"You think I want to fail? Have I ever failed ANY class I've ever taken? Can you name one time I ever got an F?"
"Well, we're just concerned that you're not being serious--"
"FINE. Fine. I'll do my homework 3.2 minutes from now. Happy??"
Seriously, I tried that for 4 weeks and it drove me crazy. After that, I never set foot in that house for more than 12 hours. They would just keep giving me more unasked-for tasks to fulfill, as if I didn't know what to do with my own time.

Really? I didn’t watch all the videos, so I thought her moving out was earlier. Damn, what a lame thing to brag about, lamer than her actual disability.

I find the video about house chores quite interesting, because she both right and wrong at the same time. It's true having a man would lower her household maintenance workload, but in my experience, that's not because you're adding a second pair of hands to split the chores with, it's because you're adding a man. I've lived on my own as well as with women, and one consistent factor I've noticed is that despite women helping with cleaning, the amount of mess they create that needs to be cleaned up is completely disproportional, to the point that I have more work when splitting chores 50/50 with a woman compared to living on my own. Few examples:
They usually turn up their nose at doing meal prep and insist on making a complicated meal on a Tuesday evening that'll yield 2-4 servings at best.
Every time they finish cooking anything it's like a grenade went off in the kitchen, because they have no concept of tidying up while cooking.
Laundry basket is half-filled with clothing items she wore for maybe half a day, and not yet dirty by any definition of the word.

Women are not taught to be good housekeepers anymore. Once upon a time, normal girls could do all the housework at a young age, without electricity or appliances. Women took pride in their family recipes, their ability to feed large numbers of people, their hard work serving their husbands and children. Old TV commercials took advantage of this, and seem kinda funny now.
Women are trainable, but all the education they get now is useless for being useful in the home. One of many reasons I opted out of the public schools 100% for my daughter.
Your list is correct, in general. All of them are easily managed if the "added man" is respected. For instance, I long ago made it a rule that you can't make things in the kitchen if it's not cleaned up first. Easy. And since wifey is in the kitchen making food a large part of every day, it's being cleaned up constantly too. Many things like this have been made more efficient or streamlined because of my guidelines and her adherence to them.
Edit: Just imagine that these commercials actually worked on women once:

ROFL. You are so right. I spent less time on house chores when I was single too. And for the exact reasons you mention.
When I cook, I plan out how to use the fewest pots and pans possible, and then time the cooking of the different parts such that, by the end of the cooking, there are actually fewer dishes in the sink, because I'm cleaning while stuff is cooking on the stove. Meanwhile, a girl cooks and the whole kitchen is a mess. And the worst is that they expect you to clean up because "they cooked". I've literally told women that I'll cook because it's literally less effort for me to cook and clean, as long as I do it myself, than to just clean her mess.
Same with laundry (unless you're sweating in the outdoors of Florida or Houston in the summer, you can reuse clothes a couple of times), and cleaning. I always tell them that the easiest cleanup is avoiding a mess in the first place. But they'll place dirty spoons and cookware directly on countertops and then complain about how they have to clean the kitchen every day, while I'm thinking, uh... just keep a plate, leave your utensils on there, then you can throw it all in the dishwasher when you're done, and the countertop stays clean. And it's probably more sanitary than keeping cookware on a countertop...
And honestly, it all boils down to one huge, glaring mental deficit: the inability to plan ahead. To take a task, think not just about the immediate goal of finishing the task, but how to do it in a way that the next task is made easier too. Sort of like at the expert level of pool playing, the goal isn't to get a ball into a pocket. Anyone at that level can do that. It's planning your shot such that the cue ball ends up in the best spot for your next shot, all while sinking a ball too.

I chuckle at the aging seethingly man-hating crowd on X who say "I'm so glad I don't have to pick up after another child, A MAN! Tee hee!" What a load of BS.
A friend of mine asked a maid "Whose worse to clean up after?" and the maid chuckled: "Women, of course!" Women who hire maids give their job the White Glove inspection OR the women are utter slobs and then hire a maid to engage in toxic waste cleanup. 2 of my girlfriends were absolute slobs. One had a rule "I don't like dishes sitting in the dishwasher being stinky so I clean them right away" and then she would get busy and the dishes stacked up in the sink and once both sides of the sink were full, she couldn't clean them so she just didn't clean them.
Something i need to point out on X more often every time a woman gripes is: I don't ever see men posting: "Whatever happened to women doing all the laundry and cooking and cleaning? Aren't women Real anymore?" Yes, some women do this but this is entirely voluntary and compensated by the men. When my wife griped that she calculated I could do more of these chores I pointed out all the other chores I did and she shut her yap. I don't know of any men who are just playing video games and the wife works and does all the cleaning AT LEAST FOR LONG. In the one case I know of, she eventually divorced him and that was only because he was the only man who "asked her out". She had gotten this bum because she refused to take on responsibility to risk rejection.

Women being better at housework/cleaning is a myth that needed to die at least three decades ago. Countless women I dated lived in pigsty apartments with stuff all over the floors and out of place. They couldn't even be bothered to do a quick courtesy tidy-up even when they knew I was coming over. And they make a mess of their cars, too.
ogrilla99 Pez "The Pussy Dispenser" Pimp 2d ago
Along with that, the myth that this stuff is hard. When women refused to do housework as a negotiating tactic, men were "forced" to do it themselves, and then found out, guess what, this is actually pretty easy, and then started wondering why they're giving up half their salary just for someone to tend house.
I remember dating a woman who was angling for a more serious relationship who would say things like "if I lived here, I could cook, and I'd do your laundry!" And I was thinking, it took me at most 20-30 minutes each night to cook dinner (if I wasn't going out). Laundry was about 20 minutes every week plus about $40 in dry cleaning every month for my workplace clothes. Plus a cleaning service that cost $100 every month or so. So basically to save about $150 + 10 hours a month, she wants to live rent free and take up my time and freedom during the times of the day we weren't fucking?! That math don't math...

Any man that has had to help clean latrines in the military also knows just how absolutely fucking gross women can be. I've seen things splattered on stall walls well above seated head height that shouldn't even be on the walls to begin with.
I posit a part of this is because if a man gets caught being sufficiently gross, he has a far more elevated risk of corrective corporal punishment (blanket party, wall to wall counseling, etc) from his peers. Women just whine to the nearest men to fix it for them.

I was infantry when enlisted, so no females around.
As an officer, I didn't directly deal with that stuff.
however, I saw such things when working retail back in high school and college! So to expand on the men you said who've witnessed that, any man who has cleaned public restrooms (retail, food service, etc) will know how disgusting women can be.
More to add later if time permits and if I remember.
Edit: between getting out of the Army and getting into my skilled trade, I did a stint at a corporate-type place. Entry-level, but supposedly lots of opportunity to advance (hah!). My wife ended up briefly working there too, starting a year after me and also quitting about a year after me.
Anyfuckingway, she and some of the other women who worked there used to complain very loudly about some of the nasty shit other women were doing to the restroom. One incident that stuck out was a used maxi pad stuck to the top of the little metal tin that was supposed to be used as a receptacle for used feminine products. Too easy to open it and put the item inside; let's adhere it to the top!

So, she finally left home. Its now a chore to live alone. just imagine if she got a bloke to move in. Suddenly everything she did for herself would be a huge sacrifice if done for him. Its all a bit hard for her.
Its hard living on your own and living pay cheque to paycheque, while buying cosmetics and steak. I haven't eaten steak in years unless I shot it myself. Splashed out and bought a daughter some perfume from Lidl yesterday. Don't feel poor or hard done by.
She is just not really happy with life, so you can be pretty sure she won't be happy with you either. Avoid.
Not even necessary to get into her weight. If she had been a happy fat woman she would be wifed up by now.
polishknight WAATGM Endorsed 4d ago
People make a big deal about the luxury of steak, champagne, and caviar but I find all three of them quite affordable. My wife says the "fish bait" red caviar is affordable, about $30 for a small jar. Lidl sells champagne or "sparkling wine" for about $6 on sale. And steak? I get top sirloin, which is close to as good as Filet Mignon, for about $10/lb on sale. My daughter doesn't eat a lot, so a single lb we pull about 3 meals for her out of it.
As Columbo would say: "Just one more thing": She makes a big deal about paying for a treat for herself. Imagine what dating is like for a normal, sub-human loser man (as if he's a "man") who isn't rich and needs to earn a literal living. She frets out about buying steak but imagine someone "pursuing" her, having to impress her by paying for a steak at a restaurant so it's marked up 5X, having to be "funny" (not funny like she thinks she is, but if he doesn't perform the entire date is a wash) and doing this for a few dates with her as well as for several women with zilch to show for it.
GimmeTheUsual Sr. Hamster Analyst 4d ago
I think its less "men bragging" about being alone, its the fact that men are HAPPY living alone that rankles these girls the most.
That isn't allowed!!! If a man is hanging out with friends, living his life and generally unencumbered by the choices he's made, it becomes the target they have to focus on.
Feminine women don't do this, just the ones that invade male spaces then complain that all the men left, or it changed into something worse because she shouldered her way in there.
I know a lot of guys here are ear-to-ear grinning about their situation, same here. I don't see the point in complicating my existence for nothing in return, just as most guys do.
HitTheRoadJill 5d ago
She mentioned being disabled. What disability does she have? If she’s so tired all the time, where did she find the energy for a situationship?
Some disabled women are astute enough to find a caring spouse, but plenty are stuck with their families or sent to institutions. If she’s disabled, she should be a lot more thankful that her quality of life is nearly identical to an average non-disabled 33-year-old woman.
EDIT: Found out she has multiple sclerosis, not something faked for attention. Again, how did she have the energy for a situationship? Also found out that she moved out at 33 instead of before, so her quality of life doesn’t truly match a non-disabled woman. I take back my remark that she should be thankful.

Women aren't funny. (One exception: Joan Rivers. She had her moments.)
I talk to men. Not women. Women complain, gossip, emote, claim victimhood, and talk about soft topics like relationships and celebrities. Hard pass.
See what I mean about claiming victimhood? Everyone has problems, lady. Grow up and stop attention-whoring.
Cooking: throw a pot roast into a slow cooker in the morning. Let it cook on low for 9 hours. It's ready to eat when you get home, and you'll have leftovers for days.
Cleaning: Wash your dishes after you use them. Wipe down countertops after you use them. Vacuum and clean the bathrooms weekly. That's 10 minutes a day, and 30 minutes each Saturday.
Laundry: Throw in a load, add detergent, click a button. Throw the load in the dryer, click a button. Fold when done. Time spent actually working: 20 minutes. Twice a week.
Washing up: You mean showering and brushing your teeth? 10 minutes.
Fixing things that break: Major things like appliances, call a pro or get a replacement. Small things, fix quickly or replace (or just throw it away).
If you're talking stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Parkinson’s disease, or multiple sclerosis, I'm sorry. That sucks. Otherwise, figure it out. Only women complain repeatedly about living with "health conditions." (That victimhood thing again.)
Overkill_Engine WAATGM Endorsed 3d ago
And electric pressure cookers also exist. Can do an entire large roast in 2 hours max, and the pot fits on the lower shelf of most fridges and can be covered, so one does not even had to dirty up a separate storage container.
She could get the roast started, do one or more of the other multitude of tasks she whines about being stuck handling solo, and then have at least 3-4 days worth of meals ready to serve/store.

This is entirely speculation, but her "standards" she tries to downplay likely mean she's Chasing Chad or wanting Chivalry and this is a challenge for any Leftover Woman, much less one with multiple sclerosis @HitTheRoadJill
She probably likes to THINK she's funny because she hopes that this will compensate for her issues. I prefer the term "Standup Philosopher" myself: https://youtu.be/tl4VD8uvgec?t=34
But here's a better way of putting it: Amusing. Amusing means to pique someone's interest, provoke thoughts. I'm married and yet I love to chat strangers up. Recently I saw a cute girl on the metro and commented on her outfit and talked about how it looked like something out of a 16th century painting I had in Art History Class and I encouraged her to hit the National Museum of Art and Baroque and Italian Renaissance and she was grateful.
She likely is "shy" or, more accurately, lazy manipulative that she worries if she risks rejection, she can't utilize it to be demanding and "set standards". Dating online means she can't play the "I'm not really looking" game.
Fact is, being amusing and "funny" does add points. I married a pretty blonde despite me being short and baby faced. I enjoy her posts and they are thought provoking, but she also comes across as basically getting by due to her hypergamy and personal situation failing her.
Plenty of guys living in their mother's basements probably also could make videos about how they get by. Hell, if this was 30 years ago...
"Here's how I organized the basement. I set up video game tournaments. Sometimes I come home and I whack off so hard, I pass out and wake up at 3AM and the LAN FPS video game some more and then wake up at 7AM to go to work and I'm stoned all day. That's being single in my 20's during the 90's!"
