Anita Hill exploded on the national scene back in 1991 along with massive corporate HR policies chilling interactions between men and women in the workplace. Many men got reprimanded or fired for a "reasonable woman" standard that essentially was that of a church lady. I personally dodged a reprimand from a spurious charge made by a woman who had it in for me but she was a former marine and that blew her "reasonable woman" standard instantly.
After all, if a guy asks out a girl in the workplace and it goes wrong, in that she gets angry he dumps her or something like that, she could make up some offense and get him fired.
It's astonishing how men have been expected to adapt to post-feminist society such as know how to wash our own dishes, do our laundry, change diapers on babies, and so on but the women absolutely REFUSE to approach men, risk rejection, or pay for dates. We are reminded that women owe us absolutely NOTHING. This woman's rant is amusing because she later says "people need to approach more often" but she means "men need to approach" because she doesn't want to. She sees the world in terms of men having the burdens and is angry that men aren't doing them. Oh well... It's almost as if men don't owe her what she wants.
I accepted women as they are when I was 32 but with the caveat I accepted myself as well. No apologies if I didn't wash enough dishes. My wife tried to complain a few times about it and I reminded her: Our relationship exists because of my efforts.

I think I was 17 when that came about.
In the school computer lab, with me having a mischievous streak, a friend and I changed one of the computer's error sounds: Instead of the usual warning noise, it would instead play a recording of Anita Hill clearly saying "LONG DONG SILVER."
Within a day or two, the teacher in charge of the lab took my friend and I aside and gave us a warning about playing "inappropriate" pranks in the computer lab. Instead of playing dumb and refusing to take responsibility, I decided to say, with a shrugging gesture "But it's in the Congressional record! It's part of the public testimony!"
I was made to remove it and restore the computer to normal.
Bah, fools! I bet they heaped similar punishments on Galileo.

I'd say you hit the lottery in terms of sanctions. I know of guys who ultimately got drummed out of school or lost their jobs for similar level actions.
It's smart you made a legal defense, however, instead of a simple admission of guilt or, worse, apology. A friend of mine did that where his remark was even more innocent than yours and they utilized his apology as a confession and dropped the hammer on him.
Also what likely saved you is that it was high school so, as kids, it's difficult to get kicked out of high school even now.

Because swiping right on Tinder or other apps is faster and allows men to bypass one layer of Cunt Shielding, wherein even non sexual interactions with women have a risk of a rape accusation like that one poor bastard that made the mistake of of stopping to help a woman whose vehicle was broken down.

Communicating via an app dedicated to non platonic interactions removes one of the layers of plausible deniability that women otherwise are prone to abuse when accusing men of things like sexual harassment or worse.
Which means men, given a safer and faster alternative, even if only slightly, stop approaching in person.
(On a related note: don't stop to help women on the road. Call the police to report a stranded motorist and move the fuck on. Let the bitches sweat or freeze in bad weather for a few generations to let them relearn why they need to cunt patrol each other.)

I agree, today's version of the Good Samaritan is a phone call to the police where women are involved, especially in very blue states where the laws are crazy.
I stopped once for a girl, she was out of gas. Refused my help even though the gas station was a couple miles away. I stopped once for a guy, and he was thankful and accepted my help instantly. We jumped his battery in the sub-zero temps and he got home fine.
I think what I learned is that even when you try to help a woman, you are always wrong somehow. Not all the time, but enough of the time.

You know, I am mildly shocked that the grocer didn't have some form of security cam footage that could have been subpoenaed if for no other reason than to absolve themselves of liability for an accidents with carts and vehicles.
Edit: it's interesting that they mentioned her family with dementia. I assume it was a way to generate sympathy, but I've seem to recall that various personality disorders can also be a precursor to more classical signs of dementia as well.
So she might literally be suffering from an early form of dementia. Doesn't make her any less dangerous to others though. If anything it's worse because that means she does not have control over it.

That's how they exonerated him. The police compared camera footage and data from her cell phone, and realized things couldn't have happened the way she had said. When they confronted her with that, she confessed.
She said that the mark on her face came from her grandmother throwing something at her due to a fit from dementia.
I think she made it up, and struck herself to make her allegations more credible.

They're around.
