this is why we all silently get uncomfortable when we get in an airplane and we hear the 'this is your captain speaking.....' and its a woman. Even the women get uncomforable. Especially the women get uncomfortable.
Because they know. They know that emotions are everthing. They know that if the landing gear is stuck, the female pilot is going to have to try to overrule her own programming - the powerful part of her brain telling her to respond in an emotional way rather than a male way (logic and reason).

My wife wandered over to a contractor doing work at another house on our block and asked him if he could do some quick work on a crack in the asphalt along our home wall. He spoke with a thick Irish accent and told us horror stories our whole side wall could collapse and kill us all if we didn't dig down through to examine the foundation. He said we'd need, for this inspection only, to give him $8000 and to move out and disable our central A/C unit. He said that $8000 was only for digging the hole and inspection, not to then repave the driveway and reinstall the A/C unit.
I said, er, I'd like a second opinion on that and he got argumentative: "ANYONE would tell you the same thing!" I said perhaps just go inside and poke a hole in our basement wall and look for there? He then said that $8000 isn't a lot of money. Oh, and no written estimate. He'd just come by in a few days to start.
I said I'd think about it, asked for his business card and he left. I don't think he even had a business card. No written estimate.
So I start hearing noise outside of my kitchen window of a jackhammer starting up. I run outside screaming. "What the hell is going on!" I thought it was him but it was his brother who LOOKS like him. Maybe a twin? He said I had agreed to begin. I said he does NOTHING without a written estimate! He got angry and said he'd paid to rent the equipment and I said I don't care. I told my wife to tell him to get out otherwise I might "lose it". She heard him griping and he finally left.
I went on yelp and reached out to another contractor who came by and lost it. I thought the brother had come back. Maybe triplets? Nope, another guy who looks like him with a thick Irish accent. He got spooked at my initial reaction and didn't want the job and that was ok with me.
The third one did the trick. He came by and laughed and said it was nonsense. He poked a hall in basement wall and said it looked fine, no leaks, and just filled in the crack. He overcharged a bit but I didn't mind considering that I had avoided an absolute disaster.
So I googled "Irish gypsy" on a whim and got blown away. Every time my wife comes up with some hairbrained scheme, I remind her of this incident. "Irish Travelers" are a nomadic group regularly prosecuted for contractor scams engaging in cash work where they don't either do the work if paid up front or overcharge afterwards and then put outrageous contractor liens on the homes (allowed in my state) requiring everyone to get "title insurance".

im familiar with the irish gypsies. they're also known as "travelers" and live in RVs all over ireland (though most of them are no longer nomads and permanently situated there) However, it should be noted that they're unrelated to the actual gypsies (aka Romani) who are spread out across all of europe. Both groups have reputations as scammers and thieves.

Pikies just predate on us settled folk. When it comes to how they handle women they are interestingly situational and make an interesting study for the red pilled man. I once employed a young one for a few months -until he didn't turn up for work twice, I fired him and he got a bit hot under the collar and threatening about it. I learned quite a bit in those months. I also had a settled one as a neighbour once. He lived on benefits and worked for cash. I tried to help him out in his business because he "had a bad back". He just stole clients from me till an ex of mine reported him for living off benefits and working.
They are blue pill as hell with their own women and the worst kind of red pill with our women. They simply manipulate and prey on them. Its almost enough to make you get all white knight when you see it happening. They generally all like working out and martial arts (so are in good shape till about 45 when the drink and cigarettes catch up with them), are cocky as hell, are culturally very polite to women and are used to selling themselves -because that is how they end up getting paid cash to bugger up people's drives and hedges and fly tip their refuse in country lanes. This mix of cocky polite, buffed charm is something that most hamsters just can't handle and many normal women hand over just about anything to them in the short term. About the only ones who are immune are the very beautiful -who just expect polite behaviour and say not to men all the time, the very plain who know that all that charm is not real because men simply don't try to charm them or country girls close enough to the land to have seen the damage these vermin can do when they camp in fields and crap all over them, fly tip shit in gates, empty locked barns of machinery and illegally hunt over wheat fields in 4x4s.
The laws need to stop protecting vermin.

Most common low scale scam I have learnt is standing by a "broken" car and offering fake gold ring for cash so they can walk and buy it themselves.
Nevertheless "lock stock and 2 smoking barrel s" is good film with romanticised version of gipsies.
PS my uncle was living in a homed gypsies area. He did business with them very often. All in all he did very well in life, but I wouldn't be able to say was it because of gypsies, in spite of them or blending with them well.

I think much depends on whether they see you are prey or human. They can be very clannish and actively prey on some groups (like farmers). There is very little farmers can do for them or they for farmers but farmers have land they can camp and hunt on with their dogs and machinery they can steal, so almost all the interactions there are negative for the farmers. Suburban householders can offer them work but usually only once a decade or so -drives, rubbish to be removed and trees. There are a large number of them that do very sharp one sided business with householders. If on the other hand you are a hairdresser or dress maker, they will pay you heaps to give their women what they want. If you sell something they need and have good security (so they can't steal it), you may also have good interactions.

The concept of nomad clans makes sense for theft because they can move on to avoid prosecution. It's sort of the model for low trust big-cities in the west: Where you interact with hundreds of strangers per day, there's an advantage in being rude and even dishonest because you are unlikely to be penalized for low class/bad behavior.

Yes nomad clans is the best way to look at them. I have known other nomad clans and the similarities are there in many ways. I think its the root of an asymetry that is very hard to balance. We live under the law and they are a large enough group to protect their own from it in many ways. I actually admire many of their values of independence and strength of character. I am also not crazy about being a tax slave to the government but I do think that if you become a group that on balance takes, you are making problems not fixing them in your society.

Nomadism allows people to kick the can of accountability down the road a ways, that much is certain. The problem is eventually a group overindulging in antisocial fuckery tends to piss enough people off within a territory that they eventually get kicked out entirely or worse. And because the nomads became dependent on utilizing predation and parasitism, just getting kicked out can doom them if they cant find a new host.
The Roma may want to figure this out since the rest of the world is entering an information age where the advantages of nomadism aren't as effective. Farmers in the US for example will just shoot trespassers. And it's a lot fucking harder to sneak around when a lot of these same farmers have game cams and social media at their fingertips.
There is a parallel here with how modern women have not figured that the modern internet may have enabled them to trade up chad-wise with great ease and frequency, it has also allowed men to communicate with each other and inoculate themselves against female tactics that were most effective against isolated and ignorant men. The parasites are already whining about a lack of suitable hosts even now.

I felt the same way back in the 1980's when I found out on so-called "equal" college campuses that, as a white male, to most women I was either an "oppressor" and therefore subject to being blamed for all that's bad in the world OR treated like an ATM machine and servant meant to throw myself in front of a bus to protect those worthy of existence.
This ubiquitous mentality in our culture was utterly unchallenged and me bringing it up resulted in being shouted down. A friend said I was sounding like a misogynist and she was right, it was "bad" but it was something I had to go through. Imagine you get to your vacation spot and you find it's raining. It's "disgusting". It takes some time to get mentally through it.
It amuses me that, not this incident, how entitled women are living in a state of anger that they're so "oppressed" having defined an oppression narrative: Men who approach them are harassers and those that don't are cowards. Even when they're doing well, by our standards, they're miserable. It's an ironic form of justice like The Princess and the Pea of a princess who can't sleep because there's a pea under her bed somewhere.
I want to empathize with the woman giving her the benefit of a doubt but... when she mentions she's a single mother that, I think, is a red flag of entitlement. Let's say a woman is a widow, or perhaps her husband beat her and she got out of the situation, blah blah blah, then I think she'd want to put that BEHIND her. She (likely) wouldn't regard being a "single mother" as some kind of badge of honor unless, well, she's exploited this in court or even regards it with status (by not "needing" a man around.).
