At least she does not have a huge list. She may be a bit autistic herself and Christianity may be her thing, without really considering how hard it may be to find someone who wants to take that on. A lonely church going virgin who is a bit too shy to look hard -maybe a bit autistic too- just might though. It might work out for her but then what? Stuck in another marriage till death parts her to someone who will almost certainly not be a fit for her and her kids beyond sharing a like of church.
Amusingly she sounds almost just like an acquaintance of mine. Brings two autistic kids to church, one of whom makes the strangest noises. The (also autistic) priest even refused to confirm him as he did not consider him having free will or understanding. She fell out with her husband and he left to work like a slave to pay for her and the kids. Amusingly he stopped paying to insure the car she kept (why would he) She got busted for driving without insurance and banned and blamed it all on him. She got government funding to do a degree. What useful subject do you think she did to improve her career prospects while living on government benefits? Theology. She is not an unattractive woman but It would be a very brave (desperate) man...

I get where you are coming from but I also think its good to give a balanced view. I know we are basically having fun with WAATGM but we do it by telling serious truths. If we don't give any balance it makes us look weak to anyone stopping by. It leaves us open to being just a bunch of (insert word for dismissing right wing male) who are too small minded to give credit where due. Its not necessarily white knighting. It wasn't mean to be support for her, just credit where it was due that she had not fallen for the most common error -publishing the impossible tick list of wants that excludes all the good men anywhere near her SMV at the start.
I appreciate that its a fine balance between letting rip with the mirth and being too serious to have fun. I want to write things that don't look like the rather fun attacks that have sometimes got the manosphere unfairly dismissed by some as a load of hate. Credit where due, criticism where due, is my aim.

We are the counterbalance in a world that mostly gives women unconditional positive regard.
A) most of those counter l feminists and bloopies are going to
thinkfeeeeeeeel that about us anyway, no matter what we do or say.B) we're fine with credit where it's due, up to a point. I've done it, @lurkerhasarisen has done it, but there are reasons the specific phrases I quoted from rule 3 are verboten. I think subreddit founder @Kevin32 explained it better here.

I considered not posting this one, since it's such thin gruel. Nonetheless, I really do wonder about this, uh, conspicuous show of religiosity she has in such a short profile. Studies have shown that very religious people are masters in thinking they're more moral than everyone else without actually being more moral. Invoking Jesus turns into a magical incantation and their Bible exists to be flaunted rather than be read.

You are not wrong. Years ago, I went to a bible college, focused on training preachers. Some of the local churches would call the college to see if a student could come and fill in for their preacher if he was out. I got asked to fill in at one small, rural church for about 6 weeks while they were looking for a permanent preacher.
Some of those people would literally leave their bibles in their seat for the whole week. Would'nt even take them home. Once I realized what they were doing, I preached a series about regular Bible reading and trying to follow what it says....it didn't go over well

Amen to that. There are those who are religious and then get on with life, seeking to be judged on their life and there are those who think religion for some reason is enough to be good in itself, like it will make up for having no inner compass or goodness by putting those things there. These people are no better than those who serve the regulations of big liberal state. Following rules is not virtue, it is at best compliance. Virtue is something you build in yourself. For this reason I have met few good men who are preachers or priests, several ones with limited personality and a lot who just want to be the centre of attention virtue signalling. .

I know someone who fits the latter to a T. He believes he's a good person, is a highly respected member of his church and the community, but I know he's an insufferable asshole when it suits him. He can quote scripture to me but if I call him out on it, he'll get argumentative, change the subject, or walk away and there's no benefit to be confronting him.
I wonder if perhaps being a good person simply means wanting to be a good person and then if they've been a thug or killer and "getting" Jesus, they read and embrace the teachings but it's their choice (obviously). Any religion (or well written self help book) would suffice.
On the other hand... there's the expression: "Hypocrisy is the compliment vice pays to virtue" in that hypocrites at least recognize the value of virtue even if at a superficial level while those who are utterly depraved (albeit manipulative) have zero rationalizations or mental contortions for treating others like garbage. Having worked with hypocritical Christians versus nihilists (even if they don't announce themselves as such), the hypocritical Christians are superior I must say.

Some good thoughts here. Yes I think that being a good person contains an element of desire to be good but added to the habit of self reflection, the search for self improvement and a large helping of practise.
There are a lot of ladies who have "good hearts" but are actually deeply selfish because they lack self reflection and only practise when it suits them but actually they have kind wishes. A good number of them are religious because following someone else's map is easier than self reflection.
I hadn't heard that expression before -its good. I am not sure if the superficial Christians are necessarily always superior to the nihilists but they tend to be more use to society as they are working within an accepted framework, with established checks and balances. When they work for their own good, they sometimes do good to others and they can rarely do too much harm (beyond their families) without crossing one of the rules they have to pretend to embrace. I think the framework that Christianity has offered for society has been its greatest strength and may yet allow it to survive as a secualar age plunges into uncertainty.

btw - I think there is an inverse relationship with people who say things like 'my kids are my world' and how they actually feel and behave.
If they were her world, she would not be on a dating app. she would be with the father of her kids, providing those kids with what THEY need, (a whole family). Instead she is on OLD looking for what SHE needs.
People that do what they are supposed to do (take care of their family, loyal to friends, pay their taxes) dont go around shouting that is what they do - they simply stay quiet and take care of business.
I always say that if you see the words 'high quality' on a wine label, its the most reliable indicator that it is undrinkable. those who know, know.

First off: Happy New Year all!
As an early Gen-Xer, I found this expression strange and thought provoking. Back 40 years ago, the majority of single mothers were divorcees and downplayed their kids. This doesn't mean they weren't good mothers (well, some of them clearly weren't) but they were smart enough to realize that another-man's-kids weren't a selling point.
I was thinking about the death of fashion, as we know it, where women wore different and pretty dresses largely to impress other women but also to appear pretty to men. 30 years ago, a colleague told me that women dress for other women and I think that was when women started to get nose piercings and tattoos to "keep up" with other women.
So where I'm going with this is that perhaps the "my kids are my world" expression is used by single mothers because so many single mothers use it. If some influencer started saying: "I am covered with boogers" and it caught on, we'd see this used in dating profiles.
A Polish friend told me an expression that women are like water: They take the form of their container but have no will of their own.

I heard something similar to what your Polish friend said, in regards to relationships. This was years ago, before social media and online dating ruined women. 'Men are the glass and women are the water. They will take whatever shape their man is in.' It's why, if she really likes you, her hobbies and interests will conform to yours. Of course, that no longer applies, in my opinion, because as I said earlier, women have been ruined.
