I don't know. Based on my personal experience in college, the Asian foreign exchange women definitely had their shit together on average vs the western white and black women. I also get the feeling they don't usually get away with as much in their home countries. I know ethnicity is no guarantee, but I think if I had to play Russian roulette, I'd rather do this version of it.

I don't think this is always necessarily true. Just because they're not in their home country doesn't mean you can't learn an awful lot about them. I personally still know one of them who went on to have a successful marriage that they're still in a decade later. Besides, you'll never be absolutely sure you're observing a woman under absolutely "perfect" conditions to make that decision.

I think you're coming from a position of absolutism, whereas I'm coming from a position of practical realism. The practical reality is that many men, including men in the circle we're in will choose marriage when tempted with it no matter how they talk. You'll never have an absolute guarantee when you take life's gambles. You'll never have the perfect statistics to back up every decision. Like it or not, you often must extrapolate based on the data gathered from the anecdotal life you've lived. That said, based on what I've personally seen in my life, I can understand why many men would expect an Oriental woman to be a less risky prospect for marriage than a woman who's lived their entire life in a western country.

Sure. Much of what we talk about is in absolute terms. This is not because we believe there are no exceptions, but because we want to emphasize on the prevalence of shit choices.
Realistically, yes, there are some unicorns. I've encountered a few in my life. Sure, they had their defects but they are as unicorny as it gets. But, they are not the rule. Yes, it might be tempting to get a beautiful Asian wife, but it does have its problems. As with everything in life, everything has a cost.

While there is a lot of wishful thinking when it comes to how women in other countries are, we cannot deny that the surface level observations with the two groups of women are accurate. Women from Asian countries are far less likely to be obese and appear to be more feminine than many Western women. This is not to say that they will be risk free for relationships/marriages, as you have stated that AWALT. Western men (especially American men) look at their own women and see none of these traits on the surface level, and seeing more appealing women gives them hope that they can get a better deal.
Also, the Asian women in this picture look like they are in some sort of J-Pop/K-Pop group, which of course is going to be one of the most cherry picked groups of women when it comes to physical appearance. Just like every other racial group, there are going to be many other women not nearly as high on the physically attractiveness scale. But with obesity being so prevalent, simply not being fat will give any woman bonus points over their heavier counterparts. Sad, but it true.

Thank you for understanding that the meme isn't meant for men, it's meant for Western women. Not to get into politics, but one of the things Trump did right was sponsor Miss USA for similar reasons. I imagine the conversation went something like "Okay, I'll sponsor the pageant, but only if you don't allow any stamp tramps, leftovers or whales."

I think of it more as this analogy: Imagine a restaurant that has the absolutely best food you've ever tasted. Gastronomically perfect and finger-licking good. Getting reservations there might take months, long lines even then, the kitchen takes forever, and the wait staff are arrogant and mess up even trivial orders. But the food is so damn good it's worth all of the hassle. It's the restaurant where everybody who's anybody goes (even if you don't have the importance to land a decent reservation).
Then imagine the same place years later. The food quality has dropped way down. Nobody talks about going there anymore. Heading there you'd hope the management to have the intelligence to remove the reservations, waiting lines, and have found damn good and attentive wait staff. But when walking in you notice the exact same problems remain while the smell of the cooking food turns your stomach then you'd wisely best turn around and walk out. And if the management yells at your back that 'you just don't understand what fine dining really is' then you should give a slight chuckle as you go on your way.

That's basically a Thai restaurant in the US. By the time I went to my local one it smelled like piss, the food was mediocre, there were no other customers, and it took forever. Basically $20 for the same thing you can get in Thailand in the slums for $0.50.
