I've always said that there will come a day when a short guy finds his mom's old online dating profile.
And it's going to validate that guy's concerns about height.
It's going to be one of those things where he tells his mom, "I think my height plays a factor in dating"
And the mom will say, "You just need to be more confident"
"Oh ok, well here is your tinder profile from 2020 showing you don't like short guys"
And the damage that is done is not about height. It's about women lying.
That kid will never trust what women say again.
Edit: I want to clear that this isn't a pity party about being short. Short dudes can be successful.

My younger brother is ripped, rich, and a total sweetheart. But he's around average height and has a daughter. He has zero luck.
I'm a runner and in good shape but far from ripped. I have a slightly above average income but nothing to get excited about. The big reason I have money is I live my life basically homeless. And I'm an ass. Most of the good parts of me have long since turned bitter through my decade and a half dance with alcoholism.
But I'm tall and have no kids so I get far more and better responses. They're not looking for a good partner, a good husband, a good father. Hell, they'll even turn down money for a shot at them tall tingles.

My daughter bears a striking resemblance to her grandmother.
I read a story about a woman in England who was married and had a black baby and her husband was horrified. They did a DNA test and it was his and hers so what happened? It turned out the grandmother had slept with some black guy at a bar and got pregnant and then got quickly engaged to some other guy. She hoped it was his (it wasn't) and it was her personal secret for a half century. She spilled the beans this this happened.
This makes me think all the more about the importance of men waiting before getting married and squeezing out kids. Women who know they're pregnant may try to pregnancy trap a guy with some other man's kids by love bombing him.

This is why men should never marry a woman with a child - even if you think it is yours. The fact that a woman would have a child outside the bounds of marriage is an important character flaw on her part. This is in addition to it possibly being a pregnancy trap attempt.

Part of the reason for the rule is that the woman's womb and her "unattachment to other men by shared children" is part of her bargaining for marriage. Once she has a child, even if it is yours, there is no reason to marry her; at the very least it is less reason, but I stand firm on my rule. If a man still wishes to consider marrying her, he should at least verify paternity of the child.

Well, many are. I met my future wife when I was 36 and we were both traditional and wanted marriage. But a few caveats: she was 10 years younger than me so that gave us time to have a courtship. Just as young women don't like being rushed into bed, I didn't want to be rushed into a relationship just because they had that need. I wouldn't meet this woman's demands so I'm effectively invisible to her anyway. The guys she wants at that age therefore are usually either dating younger women, or they have the luxury to still play the field or they're married or divorced and therefore off the market or incompatible with her requirements.

I know a few single mothers who actually were good parents but there was a catch: They were highly educated, affluent, and had strong feelings of wanting to be a mother but this conflicted with their cultural socio-biological entitlement attitude towards men. So they adopted children and otherwise did a pretty good job. But I only knew a FEW women like this. The rest were train wrecks (to see an example of one such wreck, go on youtube and look up "by the way, woody allen is innocent".
In general, you're absolutely right and this is why marriage and birthrates are plummeting in the west but this begs the question as to how their parents got married and raised kids and the answer is "oppression". Shallow people, men and women alike, were "trapped" in marriages ("fault" divorce) and had to figure out how to make it work or simply just were miserable but couldn't leave. But then again, these people are miserable on their own anyway despite their claim that boxed wine and cats makes them happy.
The USA is this failed cultural experiment, much like the USSR, that thought a progressive ideal of "free love" and "individualism" from "government tyranny" would result in a paradise of personal empowerment.

I don't mind slow population decline as a country industrializes and requires fewer workers to produce the same income. Sorry to throw out so many analogies, but consider how CEO's see their stock prices soar (along with their bonuses) if they lay off workers rather than hire. (Ann Coulter brilliantly observed that Reaganomics was the hope that giving tax cuts to CEOs would create jobs when CEOs are incentivized to cut jobs.) (Read the fun Asimov sci-fi novel "Under The Naked Sun")
Consider this analogy to a home. You buy a home, fill it with family, and most importantly, secure it. Nobody from the street can casually just walk into it. Usually the people who produce the income for the home and pay the mortgage are in charge. The homeowner supports his children and relatives who have also helped him out. Insiders (family members) are more trusted to defend a home than outsides (the police.)
These concepts of Nationalism, identity politics, and taking care of one's own ahead of global trade ("mercantilism"), have been derided on a bi-partisan basis even as they were quietly revived (shhhh!)

It's interesting how two major political blocs, the elderly and women, have become somewhat secondary to identity politics overall and the elites. In the old days, those were the two biggies and you didn't mess with "the greatest generation."
I'd like to see a literal federal investigation into why our healthcare is so expensive for certain things compared to elsewhere. I just got a dental implant in Ukraine 4 months ago. Cost me $400 after insurance. Here? Would have cost $2200. Same equipment. Medical tourism is HUGE. I intend to retire overseas. I would never retire in the high cost of living region i'm in now.
Regarding the free market: The idea is supposed to be that wages should rise as demand increases and therefore, it benefits the average joe. Supply side economics. But instead, rather than raise wages and yeah, a CEO's bonus is only 1 million instead of 10, they lobby for more cheap labor immigration to drive wages down and we, as taxpayers and citizens, pay for it in the form of welfare and increased infrastructure competition and low wages. Oh, but we can't organize about it because, meh, "identity politics" is wrong but corporations? It's ok for THEM to lobby.

It's really just insurance companies creating an unnecessary amount of "middle men" between you and paying your doctor, it's cheaper to have universal healthcare in America but people still ask "well who's gonna pay for it?"
If your point is billionaires should pay more taxes and companies should no longer be allowed to lobby the government then yeah I see your point.
I agree that creating a good social example is important, my boyfriend's small town college makes students clean up their dorming space and help take care of the farm animals as chores which I think is amazing. But it sounds like you want an ethno state or incredibly strict immigration but that argument just doesn't work in America there's never been social cohesioness here.

There's a lot you said I would quibble with, but it would take too long but that's ok. I think if one is going to recycle, at least do it right rather than cheap virtue signal about it. Contaminating the recycling stream is what killed China recycling our plastic waste. It is interesting we haven't figured out a way to just do this ourselves. There certainly is a lot of abandoned, toxic contaminated factories in, say, Detroit that would be ideal for this kind of processing.
Ok, I'm gonna quibble: I'm of the opinion that either lobbying should be for all or none at all and trying to eliminate it is like trying to enforce gun control on the whole world. Identity Politics is as human as nuclear families if you think about it. Most societies never presumed otherwise: 1) You. 2) Your family. 3) Your extended family. 4) Your tribe. 5) Your country. 6) The world. In the states it's often: 1) You. 2) Your country. Or 1) You 2) The world. With this cult of individualism it's quite empowering in one way, but in another, it's a lot to take on for human beings who have barely 25 years to figure out how to be an adult.
Billionaires do pay taxes but the issue is they don't want to pay for labor. None of us do. We constantly hear "Well, if they raise the minimum wage you'll pay an extra 2 bucks for your cheeseburger" in which case, I'm ok with that meaning that it would mean less welfare on the back end and people would be incentivized to do those jobs. The argument goes that "minimum wage jobs are for teenagers" but plenty of people do that work for their whole lives and if it doesn't pay a literal living, then nobody is going to do it without grabbing it from us on some other end. We're basically SUBSIDIZING billionaires via cheap labor immigration.
Health care just needs to be more transparent, period. Nationalizing it at this point probably wouldn't do that. The function of the insurance company would likely just be transferred to the state doing the same thing.

Yeah, the idea on Bumble is that women initiate. But - and I've had this discussion elsewhere - women still have trouble using bumble because they can't seem to ratchet up the courage or the words to strike up even a text conversation. All these interpersonal buffers, and women STILL can't do it.
