The first statement is the mental problem with these women. They literally are not open to the fact that their best marital prospect may encounter them tomorrow. They “aren’t ready”, so they’ll turn away the best man they can get.
I will give credit, though. She is selfish. She knows she is selfish. She doesn’t want to worry about what another person might want, especially in a romantic relationship. She’s staying away from it, and given her mind frame, she absolutely should.

@lurkerhasarisen Note, this isn't just that she's past her prime due to either being a widow, or looking after family members, but rather she's clearly undertaking the Strong-Independent-Woman's hero journey pursuing fun and a career because she thinks she's a man (without the obligations of such).
It's like that scene at the end of Thelma and Louise JUST BEFORE they drive over the cliff.

It was kind of funny in that it was a long series of feminist tropes about patriarchal oppression and bad men including the premier of Brad Pitt as one of the bad boys.

It's funny how they equate themselves to children, including and especially the feminists, the second there's a responsibility or hardship: Onto the lifeboats with the children, their entertainment on dates "planned" for them, someone to pay the pesky bills, to protect them.
I was telling my wife today to not baby my daughter. I don't throw her into the gator pit, either, but I don't coddle her. I give her age appropriate treatment and gently challenge and mentor her. I think this is why single mothers are worse than a wolf pack when raising children, including girls or boys. For the girls, they pass on their own barely legal immature worldview and probably a worse version of that. You may not remember what it was like with VHS bootleg movies, but we'd copy them over and over to give to friends until the 4th copy was this fuzzy mess. For the boys, the single mother can only provide capable parenting for infancy to pre-teens and know nothing about how to literally earn a living, which these young men will eventually need to do. Again, wolf packs at least know how to hunt for food.
If it makes you feel any better... know that voting is largely meaningless! Our primary system is largely rigged with the candidates picked before you get a chance to weigh in and then it's either a choice between the lesser of two evils or a coalition of political agendas that don't match what you personally want similar to picking between two cable companies that offer you 100 channel bundles with only 2 channels you want, but lack the 10 you do.
So now she's liberated and can be a corporate drone and pay $20K to freeze old eggs for a time when she won't be able to afford to be a single mother in her socio-economic class since she doesn't want to live in a crackhouse.

This is how democracies are destroyed. Its very hard to take the vote away, its not so hard for an establishment to take away the meaning of the vote. You can vote but not on the real issues, just on which member of the establishment will be the figure head of the establishment as it addresses the real issues.
So the real issues are spiralling debt, a workforce being replaced by machines, a crash in the quality of people -rampant homosexuality, mental and physical disability and infertility, low reproduction of the western races and high immigration to the west, the destruction of the family and high house prices meaning many young men can't be bothered to try any more. Meanwhile the establishment invites you to choose which self serving muppet you want to lead the debates over whether trannies can use the girls toilets and whether women need a bit more power over men or a lot more power.
I do not see how the vote will be reclaimed from women unless the west is actually violently overthrown but I do see us all losing the meaning of it.
The funny thing is that we don't really need representative democracy any more. When it took weeks to get to a capital city, it was essential to send a representative if you wanted any representation. These days we could all just vote on line on everything that representative democracy decides. We could have the same sort of direct democracy that the ancient Greeks and Romans had. Its not really sensible to say it wouldn't work. Ebay and Amazon can send me what I choose to my house with a click of a mouse. We could certainly vote on line.

It's amusing that you missed the most important issues you happened to miss: White guilt and entitlement feminism. The issues you mention are merely symptoms of those particular pathologies.
There was a guy who did a Ted Talk on direct democracy which was cool with the concept of avatar representatives. You build an AI or even profile of what matters to you and send it to "vote" on your behalf or even form coalitions to initiate legislation.

I'd tend to put white guilt and entitled feminism as the results of what I said were the main issues rather than the causes.
They are peak woke. The froth everyone argues about on top of the bitter draught that must be drunk. They are the product of a decadent society. They become part of the problem but they cannot arise unless a society is prosperous and decadent to start -there must be a detachment from reality for them to exist as they are nonsenses based on facts and reality.
I both fear and hope both of these issues will be destroyed by falling prosperity in the west, brought about by the crash in quality of the people and their productivity, while other nations rise. I fear this because it will be very painful. I see it as the only hope of redemption. The rise of competitors must either destroy us or make us rise to meet them. In this way Putin and the chinese are our best hopes of redemption, just as the deer need the wolf to be strong, so we need need itself to drive us to rise to better.
Only a people who are removed form need could ever invent feminism or white guilt. I like the wisdom of the ancients. The wisdom of the ancients tells me these things -the homosexuality, the feminism, the weakness of the people, the number of disabled and so on are just portents of hard times to come -they are signs any man can read. "Need is hard on the heart but it is often a help and a healing to the sons of men if they heed it in time" -the old english runic poem.

I think feminism and white guilt have origins that predate modern wokeism. The problem is that the USA was founded on “equality and liberty for all” and then was hypocritical about it for nearly 2 centuries. On the other hand, the USA was founded by European immigrants who had a woman shortage, romantic feudal chivalry from 4 centuries ago, and puritanism that called for banning legal prostitution. When feminist entitlement peaked in the 1960’s along with the civil rights movement and they were combined into white and male guilt, it was like the perfect poison was created. Keep in mind all this was passed by CONSERVATIVES or unopposed while they fretted about abortion, tax cuts, and flag burning.
The USA is atomized in that “you’re on your own” UNLESS you’re in an identity group or a member of the ruling class but we’re told be like Bezos or Jobs and build a billion dollar business in our garage. That’s sort of like feudal times telling someone to win the lottery by trying out for squire school and hoping to become a knight someday (hence, my pseudonym). It worked. A few such men did rise from rags to riches back in feudal times but it was like winning the lottery while the system guaranteed to crush the rest of us.

I don't think it is correlated to sex, gender, or orientation, but many people - many more than you'd think - live in filth and nasty conditions. They are comfortable in their filth because being clean and organized is wasted energy. Many people have become lazy. Also, as a society, we are now far more UNLIKELY to visit friends at their homes; dare I say people may have been more likely to decades ago. Nowadays, people tend to meet at a public place like a restaurant. Even causal sex is likely to occur at a motel.
I would point to the break down of the family unit, but... don't get me started on that.

Even I'm guilty of being lazy but I have a strong sense of smell. I don't understand how people can live in a house that smells like dog shit and cat piss, rotting food, bacterial odors, etc. I got food poisoning 4 times in 4 months in Indonesia. Huge piles of rotting trash, open air sewers, blech!
I think it goes beyond lazy. It's a lifestyle that keeps going down to a more and more primitive level. One day we'll all be living in animal conditions.

As I have frequently mentioned; I travel a lot for work, which means that I spend a lot of time in hotels.
Unless it’s one of those occasions where we have to stage at a hotel for a few hours in order to catch a flight, I treat my room like I do my house. I unpack everything in my suitcase and put it all away in the dressers and closets. I hang up my laundry bag. I make my bed before I leave for the day. I can’t imagine what the maids must think when they go into my room and see the bed made and everything put away.
On the other hand, one of my teammates is a retired E-9, and within an hour of checking in his room looks like a cyclone tore through his room.
I’ve had to live with pack rats and people who are dirty and/or messy. I don’t understand how anyone can live in such squalor.

When I leave a hotel, I usually do FBI mess. I hate leaving something behind accidentally, so I search places.
Besides an innate human laziness might prompt staff to leave the sheets be and I'd prefer to know someone before me made a ball out of the bedding.

It sounds like she has not experienced loneliness yet. Those nights are cold and the years becomes quite long. At least for women.
Average men are conditioned to loneliness from their youth, usually without choice in the matter. Women rarely have that issue, until they lose their capacity to attract attention. Then all hell breaks lose.
Men can embrace loneliness and transmute it into solitude and fortitude.
Women can only embrace the echo chamber and wonder why it gradually goes quiet.

No, you don't want kids. Women who want kids, choose kids; this woman choose NOT kids. Good women choose kids within a family with their husbands.

It's funny how such women have come of age in an era where so much "privilege checking" happens but yet they think they're entitled to whatever they want which is largely based upon feminism, whether they identify as such or not: They were "oppressed" by the Patriarchy but, yet, they also want to be "traditional" so they're all entitled to what they want BECAUSE they want it.
Now imagine, as a single parent, they have a child whose both utterly dependent upon them but also emotionally undeveloped and inherently self-centered who has nothing else better to do all day but look for ways to emotionally manipulate and shame her.

I think this is a fascinating post because it illustrates modern feminine entitlement so well. Before I go into that, I'd like to talk about my father: In 1956, he got a job as a dispatcher at Sikorsky Aircraft in Ohio. His work ethic caught the eye of Igor Sikorsky who was going to give him a scholarship which he turned down because he had to go back home to look after my grandparents who had type 2 diabetes and a stroke. My father gave my grandmother insulin injections daily and worked at my aunt's flower shop for 4 years. He was then drafted into the army and served for 2 years in the 126 artillery in West Germany. When he returned, he immediately married my mother whom he had met about 2 months prior to deployment. He was about 26 years old. My brother was born almost exactly 9 months later.
He spent much of his life bitter that he hadn't gotten to go to college and had to work for A-hole bosses for his entire life. If anyone DESERVED some time to "work on himself", I think he'd be at the top of that list but he didn't. After all, I wouldn't be here if he hadn't perhaps. My mother (and he) were virgins when they married.
My wife's grandmother married at the age of 22 and had children, worked as a teacher until age 55 or so, and had about 5 years of retirement until her husband died and she spent the last 20 years of her life effectively blind living in a cottage.
This idea of "having fun for a decade OR TWO!" and then having a family is a LUXURY. Some people can afford it, many cannot. It's not an ENTITLEMENT.
In my own case, I had a lousy childhood and it took me a decade to build myself up to the point I would have a family where I could be a decent father. I almost didn't have a family because of fertility issues from the toxic waste where I grew up. Nonetheless, I was focused on improving myself so I could be a better father, quite frankly, than my father was. I don't blame him, I understand he had hardships of his own.
This woman doesn't deserve some kind of medal for looking after her parents and entitlement to waste the remainder of her fertile years.

I'm pretty sure I was cranking out my first son when I was 32 and my wife was 30. Several years into marriage. So maybe she hit the jackpot at age 28. She was a late bloomer just like me. She started working on getting me around age 26. That first child at age 30 was difficult, medically. The next child at age 38 was damn near impossible. This is a woman who never drank, smoked, did drugs, or rode the CC. Just healthy all the way.
So what will happen to this woman who parties through her 30s? She's almost guaranteed to not have children, even with egg freezing. And I'm the kind of guy who calls out the whole "over 30" egg crowd. But I really have to agree with the "over 40" egg crowd because of my own experience.

This post hasn't done something in a long time. It made me honestly angry. Only in a modern First World society, with all the comforts and protection of that society, absent of the four horseman: Conquest (Zelos), War (Martius), Famine (Limos), and Death (Thánatos or Móros) can this self centered narcissist dare pontificate about her "choices." I have been to a lot of 3rd World countries. Seeing this girl lament about her wealth and status while wring her hands about her 1st World issues just really pisses me off. Only in the western world can a 30 something year old single woman live in comfort and debate whether or not she should jump off the Carousel to become a mother. Her fat ass will never worry if the crops dont come in and that half her village will starve or an invading force will come in to her hometown and kill everybody, or that she is alone in a Favela with a pack of kids and her husband and only source of income got shot in cartel crossfire.
She wants to continue on her hedonistic self journey full of travel (that means fucking strange guys), progress in her career (elevated career to her means elevated social status and access to higher tier guys to fuck) volunteer work (for the social media post and Chad might see that and think she isnt a slut) The only thing stopping that party is that pesky biological reality. Women like her must seethe with rage that they actually have a fertility window and have to be forced into that decision.
