It seems people have no social skills now. That you are a unicorn or a rare breed if you try and talk to a stranger regardless if its a chick or dude. I feel that its gotten to the point that even at social gatherings guys who just know how to carry a conversation and actively listen and respond are like a rare breed now. People just seem very nervous and anxious around others and almost afraid and worried they will be judged so they are afraid of what to say act or do. Even on my dates, I do not even try to be a certain way anymore I feel being able to just have a normal conversation with women is enough because of how autistic people seem now. Anyone else notice this?

Covid was the ultimate revenge for us autistic people. Now everyone knows what it's like to not be able to read people's faces(masks), no social events, everyone avoiding you, even at the grocery store, etc.
Anyway it's been noticed especially in Zoomers(10-29yo). All the older generations had normal social settings growing up.

Bro, I was forged in the lockdown like many others here. It had zero effect on me. It's only the normies who took a hit from it because they were starved of their usual social validation, but I'm sure at this point if any of the truly extroverted people were affected by it that they would have recovered by now. Socialising and game are skills. They may deteriorate, but you can always get the cogs spinning again. If you feel this is still true though, then absolutely capitalise on it.

My opinion - they're a little better if you are a stranger, but worse if you want to talk more than 30 seconds.
The most sociable was right before the elderly imposed covid lockdowns on us, but years before that people often had better social skills after you were talking to them for a while, but were often completely incapable of talking to people they didn't already know.
