I'm not old, but ya know, I got to see and interact with TRP in it's golden era, back when it was actually a vibrant community on Reddit and the Vanguards still steered the ship.
Obviously TRP subreddit is a shell of itself, quarantined and shut away from the site and now stands as a graveyard and echo chamber where a few poor souls shout bullshit which would have been torn down by TRP of old.
So, I'm going back to the books. The Illimitable Man, Models, The Book Of Pook, The Rational Male, Practical Female Psychology, the 48 laws of power, all those sorts of things. But is there any new information or relevant examples which relate to modern dating? I feel like it's all the same shit, the same techniques still work as well as they used to, and the information and knowledge contained in those books is still valid, women haven't really changed that much, it's just the rise of social media and the split has gotten wider, you can still apply that shit and it'll make em tick, if anything more than back then because the average male has become softer and softer and the average woman has gotten categorically worse at playing manipulation games as they've naturally had to work less hard to fend off the undesirables and 'ick' havers than they have before, I notice that your average male is way softer than they used to be even back then.
But still, is there any source for new and notable information? I know there's still Field Reports, and those are cool to read, but I want information. Lessons, new ways of approaching people, those sorts of things.
Any suggestions? And please don't tell me to read the wiki/sidebar, I have. Probably back before you even thought the concept of 'The Red Pill' was nothing more than a plot device in The Matrix.

Unfortunately we're living what the ass end of a Purity Spiral becomes. I've discussed at great length what I saw make the community implode. Peak MAGA which in practice cherry picked the arrogance and narcissism of Trump without the money and property empire of Trump, synergizing with Peak GLO to make a self-narrowing Ingroup that lashed out (in ways contrary to most of our standards of masculinity) at "the other," from the rest of Reddit which inevitably showed us the door for it, to other members of our own community who got ganged up on and bullied away from wanting anything to do with the place. We even knew what a purity spiral was, and laughed at the catty sewing circle ladies whose arc originated the term, while acting the same part or permitting it to get acted out in our own circle.
The question here basically amounts to "So, how do we put Humpty Dumpty back together again?" How do we get through the "club problem" of not many people here --> newcomers see a mostly empty club and don't stay long --> not many people here..?
There still exists a culture of personally attacking our own members, not their positions or arguments. This makes a group-breaking environment. How about start with our own principles of accountability to our own proclaimed standards and owning our shit?

I always saw the eventual outcome of the kind of community TRP was, I knew it wouldn’t last forever, but it’s odd to see the wreckage, the shipwreck of a vessel which once was a gleaming bright beacon of hope.
I guess the answer is “TRP is dead, long live TRP”, right? The movement may have been killed, I think MAGA co-opting the movement and the issues that caused definitely caused massive damage, if I take the shipwreck analogy, that was the fatal blow. It didn’t have to be fatal, but enough people abandoned ship to the point where there was no choice but to let her sink.
You’re right on the whole purity spiral thing, I knew that the most prevalent perspective in TRP was essentially “fuck bitches get money”, because that was the most pure and glamorous goal you could have from TRP. I mean, this shit did form from PUA groups, so it doesn’t shock me that those ties remained strong.
I guess I just wish there was more information, but really, what information do I seek? It’s all there, there are individual blogs and posts from people which touch on the newest factors like OLD and dealing with flakes, but really it’s all the same answers to the same questions, it’s just that there isn’t anyone around to answer questions in the same way as there was before. I look at this community and see hope, I see there’s still some of that old life left from back then, it may be a small fraction, but it seems like enough. If anything I like the fact that it’s small, the people who are here are people who want to be here, not simply just those who want to push their own agenda or yell at others for disagreeing.
But the biggest resource, the texts, the teachings, the content, the Gervais principle, the tools, the concepts, they all stil exist in text form, you can still read them, a lot of them were written in isolation as a one stop shop for those wishing to improve, you just don’t have the community anymore, at least, instead of getting a reply in minutes on reddit you’ll get a reply in a day or so on here. I’m okay with that.

Reddit semi-banning TRP did damage.
Also: much of TRP went mainstream. It went from outrage-inducing (and thus compelling) to normal and almost accepted. The wall, dualistic mating, alpha fucks/beta bucks: Tinder and TikTok drove this mainstream. Most young men were familiar with the concepts. Agree or disagree with it, TRP itself was no longer compelling as a reddit destination.
Welcome aboard, hope to chat to you more.

Reddit tolerated TRP for a LONG time. The quarantine came as a result of a significant faction of TRPers' behavior towards Reddit at large. You might say that they Outcome-independenced and DGAF-ed too close to the sun, and actively shat upon Reddit at large like a party guest pissing in the houseplants for lulz and insulting everyone else in attendance.
Somewhat like Russia not annihilating Ukraine as the Western narrative portrays it, Reddit eventually had to respond somehow, and ultimately did so with far less force and fanfare than they were capable of, counter to TRP's passive-victim narrative about how it went down. They're still tolerating TRP on their platform, after all. It's not an oppressive Gaza Strip as some portray, just a quiet padded cell where we can do what we want without bothering the rest of the site.
This is some shit that many have yet to own.
The good that came out of it: the worst offenders left on their own, finding the wasteland they created unworthy of their ongoing presence. The core of people remaining, I think, stand closer to true TRP principles and behaviors on average.
mattyanon Admin 2y ago
If that was true then reddit would have said so. They would love to blame us. The real reason we were quarantined is that people didn't like what we had to say. We never did anything wrong, and they know we didn't do anything wrong, so they never gave a reason.

Seeing the replies here is super interesting. It feels like coming home in a way. It’s nice.
There were always two distinct camps on the subreddit, those who wanted to be left alone to learn and improve, and those who wanted to get into fights and spread the word. I was always the one to simply want to learn and improve, I was never much one for going out there and yelling at people who would never get it, it felt odd to me, those were never battles they were going to win, and look what happened, they brought too much heat back home and blew up their home base.
This community feels closer to those who simply want to learn and discuss, which I obviously prefer, instead the battles have moved into mainstream bastardised RP content, they can have their battles all they want over there.
I think when it comes to it being ‘mainstream’, I still kinda don’t feel like it really is. Like yeah, the surface level concepts are well known now, but the actual dynamics and concepts definitely aren’t, or if they are I’m not seeing any evidence of it, it’s almost as if TRP was a massive nuke which released a bunch of radiation, but now the core concepts, the leftovers, have made their way around the world and settled as this background radiation. You can sense it, but nothing has really changed per-say.
If anything the divide between fucking and not fucking has gotten wider, partly due to hypergamy being fucking turbo boosted by OLD taking over, partly due to women becoming more and more entitled due to a lack of pushback from men, and from men in general getting softer and less willing to go out there and try. I think the fact gaming and streaming are two of the most profitable and mainstream sources of entertainment is very telling, and frankly concerning.
I do think we’re due for another paradigm shift though. Both men and women are unhappy, modern technology is starting to rear the nasty consequences people always warned us about and there is a growing cohort of people who are rejecting it, it’s slow, but I would like to think in the next 5 years or so we see a shift back to in person communication and socialisation. Technology promised to make those things better, but in reality it’s made them worse. It’s concerning times but exciting ones too, and I’m placing my proverbial money on true RP concepts being the winner when the shift snowballs into a movement.
A notable trend I’ve seen is this breed of content creators, mainly female, making these feel-good pro ‘honest’ (beta) male clips where they chastise modern women for being vapid whores. They get views primarily because they are attractive but not so attractive to be threatening, say stuff that makes men feel better about their own shitty dating situations and feign this narrative that they’re doing this to ‘tell women’ to clean up their act. Only problem is, the women who need to hear this shit aren’t watching this content! It isn’t getting recommended to them and if it is they aren’t engaging with it, however the sad broken men who feel like dating is just one big game designed to destroy them and women are just sitting there waiting to tear their little good boy necks open and suck out their blood, they are learning nothing that they don’t already know. It’s just women saying “no, you ARE a goooood little boy, yes you are! Those stinky winky women who made you sad by cheating on you and destroying you ARE big meany weany pants aren’t they? It’s okay, the perfect woman who will give you mommy’s kisses is out there! I won’t tell you where but look! I’m definitely one of them!!!!!!!!!”
I feel like I should probably write a piece on it. Get myself back into the groove of writing content.
For now though I’m just going through the old library and reading. I luckily downloaded the book collection before it died, so I’ll go though that.
Thanks for the warm welcome.

True. The mainstream learning is super shallow and simplified to the point of not being useful.
"Per se". It's Latin ;)
Yeah, agreed..... this is showing up in the statistics, the number of men having regular sex is decreasing. Academia is scratching its head and pretending not to understand why, but we know why: women are dating for looks rather than financial support - partly because they have their own careers and partly because they are leveraging other avenues of financial support (the state, alimony, child support) rather than getting married or cohabiting.
Men have done almost nothing productive to adapt to this new world, but women have not helped by outright lying about their actions.
It might. Post-covid I hope we're seeing a shift back. But the problem is this: people whine about the state of affairs, but everyone acts in their own best interests. Women complain about OLD, but unless they leave the house there isn't much we can do to date them in any other way.
Sadly I don't think that's going to happen. TRP boomed and busted, it's no longer exciting or shocking or new, it has 90% fizzled out. This makes opportunities great for the few people who embrace it, but it also means it's not going to turn into some major new change to society.
Yep, I've seen them too. They're great, but how much difference does it make? And are these virtue signalling women who have spotted a niche that gets them some publicity actually any different?
Right. And even if they did watch it, are they going to do anything different? Why even should they?
Yeah, exactly. "There are good women out there, keep trying! Keep doing stuff for us! Stay on the market! Keep your job, keep EARNING".
Dating is going to just SUCK for most men, and that's not going to change. 90% of men could do a lot better by following TRP principles, but if every man did this the situation would just be the same: women fucking the top 10% of men. So any way you cut it, dating is going to suck for most men.
Society should be more honest about this. "Look guys, it's going to suck. You'll be doing all the effort and putting in all the money, and she's going to fuck someone else. Get used to it and enjoy the rest of your life, and stop dreaming about a princess that doesn't exist".

“TRP is dead“
I don’t think TRP is dead there’s just not many people who frequent the forums anymore. I highly put that down to the fact you have high status influencers now like Andrew and Tristan Tate who openly talk about the red pill and teach men basic TRP concepts on social media. An old timer like you from the golden age of TRP you would know yourself that the first rule of fight club is you don’t talk about fight club but I digress.
So the only thing new to TRP is these hyper masculine influencers now which pop up on my feed all the time. I’ve been lurking in the forums and on asktrp subreddit years before I made my first post on here so it’s not like I have just discovered the red pill
SarsaparillaCorona 2y ago
The whole quote is kind of what I’m referring to here.
“The King is dead! Long live the King!” Is something that’s said on the death of a monarch. The phrase was uttered throughout Queen Liz’s passing and simply states that although, yes, the current king or queen is dead, the concept of the monarchy at large is not dead.
So when I say “TRP is dead, long live TRP” I say that the community of TRP is dead, at least on Reddit and in popular media (as the actual concepts of TRP not the false RP Tate and co love to pander), but the concept and the institution of TRP is not dead, the information is still valid, there is still value in the concepts discussed, but the outreach and community of TRP is dead as a force for cultural change.
Blingo123 2y ago
Yes I know what you mean. The thing is though you go on TikTok and there’ll be people there talking about social status, Robert Greene’s on there too (he has his own account where he talks about his books) and 48 laws of power so openly now that probably everyone on TikTok knows about the concepts, whereas if anyone done that in the say 2015 on social media you’d look like complete maniac. I remember there was a TRP mega thread on the 48 laws of power possibly on this forum and at the time I couldn’t get enough of it but there was no TikTok then, fast forward to now you can watch Robert Greene himself explain them to you on.
In any case I’m always going to frequent the forums as there’s still some concepts missing from the whole TikTok.
I would argue that Andrew tate is a proper RP dude(in fact as RP as it gets) he says some stuff that I’ve not even heard of from my time being in here such like “there’s two things a girlfriend of 20+ years would leave you for and that’s if she sees you being frugal or being a coward”. I’ve learnt a lot from watch Tate. I just always believed you were meant to never talk about the red pill unless it’s anonymous I mean TRP is part of the reason he’s so famous because he’s the guy who made RP mainstream. He always talks about the matrix aswell.
SarsaparillaCorona 2y ago
I suppose Tate is always going to come up as a discussion topic now, but I kinda don’t like him. I get that he’s “peak” Red Pill, but I firmly believe that too much of a good thing is a bad thing, and Tate is endemic of that.
Maybe it’s the fact I got plugged back in for so long, but I can’t help but feel like he misses a lot of the nuance that comes from classic RP that I appreciated. I like that a lot of the posters and vanguards were every-men who simply wanted to better others and share their knowledge and experiences, I don’t get that feeling from Tate, I also don’t really see much of myself in him and his desires. Like I don’t want millions of dollars and Supercars and pretty but vapid women chasing after me for my value in terms of finances. It’s the literal incantation of “fuck bitches get money” and I know that isn’t what I want or value.
To me, success looks like being able to walk into a bar or a club, make eye contact with the right woman, chat her up, bring her home to a nice apartment, smash hard and passionately and wheel her into a harem of women through BDSM, all whilst having an amazing time throughout. That’s what I want. I’m a deranged fucker at heart, I’m into kinky stuff and enjoy the more evil and dangerous aspects of sex and sexuality so for me seeing Tate trounce around with these perfect looking bimbo models just doesn’t appeal to me. I mean for fuck’s sake my ideal partner would actually be a BDSM brat! I like the fact that I’d have to fight her a bit to break her, the idea that I get to simultaneously whip her and restrain her and afterwards cuddle her and make sure she felt loved and supported. I don’t see a space for that in the mainstream, rather juvenile and vapid ideals that people like Tate sell to people.
I think that’s the other part that gets me too. These are people who are selling the red pill to people. Perhaps it’s my resistance to modern culture and the fact everything has a price, but I haven’t paid a cent for any red pill content in the past, I don’t think information like that should be paid for, and frankly I think that if you do pay for it you’re adding to a marketplace that is willing to manipulate you to keep paying. The goal of a good cult is to never give out the final secrets, and I feel like modern red pill doesn’t want to do that, they don’t want to repeat the past mistakes of red pill content creators and give it all away, but in my mind that makes it selfish and untrue, I mean sure, there is the ‘alpha’ consideration of always getting something from your work, but the RP vanguards of old did this because they cared, not because there was a financial motivation.
Blingo123 2y ago
I guess everyone's different we all have different kinks and fetishes. Personally I Like to pin her down and ram her. Although I've not made a thread in this forum for a while I do feel like I can get answers to my questions a lot of the time and I always try to help others where I can as sometimes I'm just not knowledgeable enough to answer.
That's right i would under no circumstances excluding the rational male series would pay for RP knowledge. In his "University" it's all about making money and how to talk to women which $50 a month. Absolute madness. You can get all of that information for free. I mean i got everything i know for free so why should'nt someone else. It's all a scam at the end of the day.

TRP and PUA was built on exchanging notes. He made his content popular and public. That also means he got plenty of notes [comments] from wider array of people, due to being very out there.
Plenty of people do not want to exchange the notes anymore [IMO] as they think - if I'm going to do it, I can as well create channel and ell it. If I go on the forum to run it trough filter etc, then I loose my content and give it away for free. Hence you might not see anyone here that considers themselves at least average, contributing. They are chasing the $.
Is this method improving TRP/PUA? Not as likely as bundling up and working in a pack for as long as possible.
Blingo123 2y ago
It's like anything in life only the top 5% are making money. So if your going to start a channel talking about Female nature, how to date women etc your going to have very low numbers to begin with and then your going to have to put your face and name to it so everyone who knows you now thinks your a weirdo for talking about all RP publicly. Just imagine starting a channel talking about RP everyone in your local area is think your a jackass(I'm sure 99% of women will). Nothing turns a women off more than caring so much about what she wants in a man. That's why I always come here because it's anonymous.
Av0idant_3 2y ago
VS red pill - choose one.
there is more people wanting to start stuff and never will, it also means that this knowledge [not run trough the filter of other dudes] that could otherwise add some value, will be lost forever.
Those that has started own channel, but besides making valid - new and original - points, mixed it with some bullshit, might have been called out on it and disappeared in a limbo.
Then shadowbanned, not popular etc.
This information is all lost, unlike in early days when all modes communication were personal and run trough the filter.

Personally, I think oldheads don’t have a clue about modern dating (unless it’s women their age) because the game always changes and people adapt to stuff. I say oldhead ironically, I just turned 24 and feel old.
I personally would much rather take advice from a 20 year old whose killing it rather than a 35 year old because it’s a different playing field from when they were in their 20s. People in the 2000s didn’t have instagram and needed to actually talk to chicks in person. The only social-proof they could show was in person, like other girls seeing you with other chicks and friends etc. Now, women just look you up on the gram and see if you’re her best hypergamous option from your follower count and pics. Of course this isn’t always the case but I feel it’s much more common with dimes because they like to fuck guys with a good reputation unless of course you have some serious game. I’m not saying older guys don’t know what their talking about, but they played a bit of a different game compared to the youth of today in terms of dating and all that stuff. There was a time when it was talking on the phone for hours. Then it changed to texting, then snapchat, then facetime, all that. Some of the tricks that worked back then don’t work now. Men buy chicks flowers at one point but that’s not common now.
SarsaparillaCorona 2y ago
That’s exactly why I’m asking lmao, I know that there’s other avenues available to people, and that realistically the majority of women care about your social proof from a valid social media standpoint, but the question is how can you combat that? How can you play in the dynamics of those areas with success? I personally have 0 interest in building a social media presence, I’d rather not have one and let vapid women who use social media as a landmark for value fall by the wayside, also understanding that those metrics actually provide me with more power because I’m distinctly not playing those games and trying to win against a vapid whore whose ranks on social media are filled with tiresome simps.
I know it isn’t very red pill to tell others what is and isn’t red pill, but I really struggle to see how not having a social media presence can’t just be countered with amused mastery in terms of “oh, you play those little validation games? No. I don’t because I don’t base my value on what others think of me.”
Also worth noting I’m 26. So I’m not specifically your age, but I’m close. So realistically I’m an “old head” because I experienced it at 17/18 when most of the people in TRP were 23-30. I’m now the age bracket that content was built for, so are you.
User4566 2y ago
Which is why I said “unless you have some serious game”. You can still get with a chick if you chat her up in person. But you’ll have to look the part, like she’ll assume you’re a chad just by how you present yourself. Nice clothes, good looks, accessories, high energy (BDE), confidence. If you can display that, then why SHOULD she need your instagram to confirm you? If you display some things that make her question your worth, that’s where instagram comes in and it COULD help you get the bag if she sees the inflated internet you who is always happy and never had a bad day in his life.
Unfortunately, I don’t blame them for wanted to do a background check on guys if they can. Chicks literally want the top ~10% of men so if they can find a way to confirm you’re the shit, they will take it. Just like men do background checks on potential LTR chicks who might be total sluts.

Same. The idea of using SM for photography appeals to me more than posting for attention.
I see a woman being confused why I don’t have instagram as a shit test, easy to solve.
I guess that cuts that off as a new avenue for exploration.
pofkaf 1 2y ago
Men, women, hypergamy, sexuality, attraction, etc...it has all been the same since the beginning of humanity, and will be the same until our species goes extinct.
I see TRP just as a framework to understand those concepts.
If you've already learned alot from TRP and generally lead a happy life, then you won't find anything "new" in these forums. Or anywhere else for that matter.
You should pass on your experiences to the newbies to help them understand these concepts as well.
SarsaparillaCorona 2y ago
I would like to, and given this community is full of people who are learning and doing the shit I used to, I think it would be a nice accountability partner.
That being said, I feel like I’m not yet ready to give that advice. I’m here because even though I read all of this stuff back when it was new information, life, ya know, got in the way and I fell.
But I’m back. This is dumb. I had a perfect framework available to me, perhaps I didn’t internalise enough of it and simply was happy that I learned the parlour tricks that got me laid, but I think (or at least hope) I’m ready to step back into it and truly internalise it. I got shunned away like most people due to the bastardisation and weaponisation of these concepts by trump, the alt right and new wave scam artists like Tate, so I’m here to rediscover as much as I’m here to remind myself.

I left Reddit a long time ago for reasons unrelated to TRP, so I'm largely out of the loop on whatever happened there. Had another look this summer, and it seemed to me the main TRP sub was now mainly comprised of Christian virgins + GLO.
Not a lot happening at MRP either, but at least they seemed to have maintained some standards. The place was just kinda dead. Noticed they'd been revising a couple of concepts since the last time I was there. I didn't really dive down into it, but at surface level I got the impression that playing hard-ass all the time hadn't worked out so well for some of the guys. So now they were talking about how being openly vulnerable is part of having frame, and how some stages of dread were really just covert contracts. Like I said, didn't really dive into it, so I may be misrepresenting it a bit.
GLO gang and quarantines aside, I think this sort of thing does have a shelf-life naturally. Human nature remains the same, and it's only the contexts in which it expresses itself that changes. TRP was revolutionary at some point, because it challenged both the standard, progressive "tabula rasa" view on men and women, and the traditionalist-conservative alternative simultaneously. But now, that's pretty much established - and even part of the mainstream - and so the overarching concepts remain the same. Hence, we find ourselves at a point in time where we either harp on about the same old concepts, or we talk about other things.
For TRP to keep brining new stuff to the table, we'd have to be challenged. And by "challenged", I mean properly, intellectually challenged in good faith. I guess one of the strong points of TRP in its Reddit hay days, was that the mainstream platform (Reddit) constantly brought fresh meat. And some of that fresh meat would from time to time rise to the occasion to provide blue pillery so subtle that it challenged TRP to think and talk straight. Now, we do get examples of blue pillery here too, but it's always ourselves collecting it from other sources to laugh at. So it's going to be the blatant kind of blue pillery, ripe for ridicule, not really challenging anything at all.
Anything challenging now comes from within. Anything that makes you go: "Yeah, I might have to rethink that" comes from people who're already part of the TRP-sphere. So it's not going to be paradigm-changing or anything. I think the last time I had something like that was with that divorce-lawyer (don't remember his name) that made a showing on Rule Zero podcast. I think he brought a couple of new things to the table, specifically with regards to the divorce prosess. For one, he did challenge the general notion that "prenuptial agreements just get thrown out of court" - which is something I did blindly believe just because some guys said so. So there's that, I guess.

Tight.
I’ve been looking around (and also made a post in the old sub basically putting the old sub on blast for being a cesspool and pretty much everyone agrees) and I’m starting to think there isn’t really much that’s changed.
Biggest new piece of information I found came from Kill Your Inner Loser and his massive write up on how he approaches tinder and OLD. Basically he looksmaxxes the fuck out of it, suggests you spend money on it (which makes sense but ugh, money) and you basically try to push yourself as high as possible into the 10% which get attention. I’ve always known this, but it’s nice to see a guide on specifically how that’s done and what actually works.
But I really feel like a lot of the information and a lot of the teachings are still valid and relevant. We really just simply nailed a lot of this stuff back then and it’s still relevant today, but obviously there’s new factors like the outlay and prevalence of OLD and the breakdown of day game and night game as a primary source for women.
That being said, I’ve always held the opinion that those things are still cherished and relevant, I feel like the old ways are still the best because as you get social media obsessed zoomers coming through the ranks of mainstream society the idea of a gasp MAN approaching them and flirting with them effectively and actually being attractive whilst doing so is more effective than it was back then, mainly because you stick out more than your average chump and the general likelihood of a guy actually taking that leap has become even rarer.
But here are some differences I’ve noticed from back then to now:
Men are checking out (MGTOW) en masse. They’ve looked around, looked at the wasteland of washed up attention obsessed vapid whores and simply gone “nope, no thank you.”
Your average woman is sadder and more pathetically addicted to the algorithm than ever before. Platforms run by algorithms dictate that more extreme content will get more views, so women are going mental with keeping up with the norm. I could probably write an entire dissertation on that concept from the perspective of both genders but I digress.
The world is a much more opaque and complex world than it was even back then. Covid fucked a lot of things up for a lot of people, late stage capitalism is starting to become harder and harder to ignore, climate change is here and it’s making its impact very loudly, people feel like they’ve been robbed of their ability to dream, and generally the breakdown of social institutions and the commonality of man into these ‘us vs them’ fear mongering campaigns from both sides is leading to your average person feeling powerless and alone.
OLD has become the de-facto standard for meeting people for the vast majorly of humanity, most people consider the idea of meeting someone in person to be creepy or rude, they won’t even try, and that’s on both sides.
Flaking and ghosting is way more common than it was back then. People have more access to their phones than ever before, yet they don’t use them to communicate. I think that has more to do with everything else, but it’s still a factor.
I know a lot of these sound like “old man yells at cloud” but I feel like they’re factors as to why I kinda want some new information. I know the bones of TRP are still valid, but your average man is more dejected and sadder than they were back then and your average woman is more oppressed by sexual liberation and the sexual marketplace than they have been before. People are just fucking sad, man. They don’t have hope, I don’t blame them, but it filters down into things they could change and could use to improve their lives, they just don’t wanna try.
That being said, I earnestly feel like that makes TRP even more important than it ever was back then. A proper Red Pill, a true and honest Red Pill unsullied by the influences of the morally corrupt seems to be more important than ever, and more powerful than ever.
I’m gonna go back and read the writings from that time, learn them again, rediscover my roots, disconnect from this shitshow and focus on what’s real. The Red Pill is, after all, simply Self-Help. So, I’m gonna help myself.
Still wanna hear if there’s anything new though lmao

Great points. One tragic thing that happened was that TRP considered PUA to be fake and rejected it en masse. This is sad because "just lift, bro" is terrible advice for picking up women. (Definitely do lift though!).
Your bullet points are spot on.... OLD was taking off, and then covid killed most in person meeting and OLD just kept going. We're now in a position where everyone hates OLD (men have to do too much and get too little, women are overwhelmed with attention), but noone will do the alternative (go out and meet people).
I think in-person social life/game will swing back a little. Getting our social lives back together post-covid is taking longer than expected, but people are slowly getting there.
The problem with "focus on what's real" and "get back to the basics" is that the world is different now. Women's expectations are sky high, and most of them don't leave the house.
As regards anything new: no, not really! Would love to hear different though.
