Tl; dr - Consider a vasectomy if you value your career, freedom and independence.

Just watched a particularly radical video on the pros of a vasectomy. I agreed with all of his points, besides the last one. Although I hate kids with a passion, that's fucked up.

Then again; I believe he is just acting like that to provoke butthurt fueled exposure for his channel.

Back on topic:

This has motivated me to decide on a vasectomy.

Getting a vasectomy has been something I've wanted since I started thinking about the possibility of owning kids one day. I have never liked kids, and I don't want them.

I believe it would interfere with my life and my plans too much. I also like the idea of a vasectomy so I never have to worry about falling into the trap of paying child support or alimony for Chad's bastard.

I am aware that this could change in the future, which is why I am considering storing semen in a sperm bank if I decide I want kids in the future. I doubt it though.

Especially when during my research I find statistics that:

Only a small number of men who have a vasectomy ever use their banked sperm -- around 2 percent, according to a study done by researchers at Australia's Monash Medical School in Richmond, Victoria.

Also only 6% of men opted to have a reversal of their vasectomy (which I didn't realize was also an option, it's called a vasovasectomy). The rate of success with a vasovasectomy is highest the sooner you do it after the original vasectomy, but after about 10 years, your rate drops to 30% change of impregnation.

Here is a short list of benefits for the skeptics:

  • The freedom of not having to worry about knocking up a one-night stand or a crazy post-wall plate.
  • Can Improve sex-life, and contentment with marriage
  • A vasectomy doesn't affect ejaculation, so you creampie and facialize to your hearts content.
  • A vasectomy doesn't affect testosterone levels, and has in some cases shown to even slightly improve them
  • You no longer have to trust a LTR with birth-control, or use condoms. Fire away cap'n!

Here are some cons:

  • If you decide on storing sperm, it can be pretty expensive. You're looking at hundreds of dollars to thousands every year.
  • The procedure, although quick, can be quite painful from what I've heard. Mainly the injection into your tests. Ouch.
  • If you don't have a back-up, and decide on a vasovasectomy, the chances of success after long periods are low.

That's all I can think of for now.

CONCLUSION:

So, for all the MGTOW's out there, I would consider this procedure.

There are viable contingency plans in case of a change-of-heart, and the benefits that it offers to men living in such a fucked-up, feminized culture is bountiful. Be prepared, and willing to make sacrifices to ensure you don't get tied down by your swimmers.
