Occasionally returning to the root of an idea is always beneficial, if only to be sure that the discussion still remains relevant to what you hope to accomplish.
In particular, revisiting some of the posts that form the backbone of TRP can be useful for two reasons:
First, we need to remember why redpillschool and the other moderators opted to implement the TRP points and endorsement flairs. Even if you don't get it, there are reasons why certain users are "flagged" as positive contributors, and while you can disagree with things that they say, attacking them personally is an affront to the time and effort they put into building this community, even if you, personally, haven't seen their contributions. It is my hope that visiting some of their old posts will help you understand why these users are endorsed.
Second, there is a difference between TRP and the PUA/seduction communities found elsewhere on reddit (and perhaps the manosphere as a whole), reading some of the original TRP posts will help you understand the difference. Make no mistake, ultimately The Red Pill comes down to
Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men.
but there are some subtle differences between this goal and what the PUA community accomplishes.
In this post I will be linking to many posts but by no means is this list exhaustive; I encourage you to click on any EC's post history to read the articles that made this community what it is today. Even if a post isn't highly upvoted, you will often find ideas that resonate with you and give you something to think about. Maybe you'll see something that sparks an idea for an article you can write yourself!
About three years ago, pk_atheist created the RedPill subreddit. This is the article he wrote at The Red Pill's inception. Like every part of our politically correct society, the seduction community had become a fem-centric space, more concerned about the possibility of offending women than accomplishing what it purports to be, "instructions" to pick up and/or seduce women. Instead of focusing and capitalizing on women's true nature, the seduction community "opted", intentional or not, to accommodate the concerns of the women who also browse the subreddit. Thus, TRP was created as a place to discuss "sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men" - a place where men can talk about sexual strategy, without fear of being silenced for saying something that doesn't fit in the mainstream narrative.
Over the first few weeks and months (see "Introduction" on the side bar), pk_atheist refined the intentions of this subreddit, pointing out that Men's Rights has shifted to discussing "self-improvement tips that...make you a better man, not get laid more often". He claimed that "the frame around public discourse is a feminist frame, and we've lost our identity because of it." I quote this point not to debate it, but to provide a foundation to understand what TRP is built on: "discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men", untainted by feminism.
Notice how I keep quoting this sentence, think about it, remember it, internalize it. There's no ambiguity, I don't know why "the point of TRP" is such a point of contention that frequently comes up in the discussions that take place here.
If the notion of a non-safe space scares you, if you feel that TRP is "immoral" or "manipulative", you can feel free to leave, but know that you are doing yourself a disservice; choosing not to play the game doesn't mean that the game is not happening around you. You can also pick and choose what you like, TRP doesn't claim to be an all-or-nothing philosophy, it's simply a compendium of the experiences of men around the world.
With this in mind, the following posts are from when TRP was first making a name for itself. Lists of outstanding posts have been made before, so here I've intentionally chosen to list posts that are less often quoted, whether because they weren't highly upvoted (because of controversial content, bad timing or a smaller userbase) or posted by users who are no longer active. In other words, posts that aren't found in theredpill/posts/top/all_time but were written by ECs and contain content worth thinking about.
For brevity's sake, I've also opted not to list more than two articles by the same author, encouraging you to take the initiative to read more of their content by visiting their profile and sorting by "top" or "submitted". You may have to do some work to sort through what's relevant (for those ECs who post in other subreddits) but all worthwhile endeavors require some degree of effort. My goal is not to provide an exhaustive list as much as to highlight the point that there's lots more content to explore that isn't on the sidebar/front page.
You will notice that many of the older articles on TRP (listed here and not) are rough around the edges because the ideas that are freely available to you on the sidebar were only being hashed out for the first time. I personally got more out of the posts that were speculative rather than definitive, controversial rather than unanimously upvoted - they often ask unanswered questions rather than state concrete points, consider writing your own post to answer/discuss these questions. Even the RP Vanguards are just regular dudes, once figuring things out just like you are today.
-
Focusing on strategy - What do we do in light of the Red Pill Truth? - pk_atheist discusses how he used the knowledge of TRP
-
The old "I was date raped when I was drunk" story I hear semi-regularly - legendofpasta discusses women and failure to take personal responsibility
-
So where did all the good women go? - This wasn't so much a good article as much as a demonstration that even IM once went through the anger phase. I'm sure he'll be pissed that I dug this up and ruined the mystique that he shits eloquence out of his ass (sorry dude), but it's important for everyone to understand that swallowing the red pill is a process that everyone goes through
-
American Women are Incapable of Feeding Themselves Responsibly - GLO discusses how most women are incapable of feeding themselves. More interestingly, he observes that most men are guilty of this too.
-
Loving Yourself Loves Others - Archwinger discusses a key difference between the roles of men and women in society
-
Being a Nice Guy is a Form of Extremism - NeoreactionSafe talks about striking a balance between being a "nice guy" and an asshole. To be fair, this post did receive some attention in its day, but NRS has been on the receiving end of a lot of abuse recently.
-
Dread Game: Metric not Method - DeepThrill provides a different take on why and how dread works
-
The Greatest of All Parents are Men - RedPope describes what it's like to have kids as a RP aware man.
- Analysis of recent OkCupid Trends post (RP truths abound) - TRPSubmitter makes some observations about female nature using data from the OKCupid dating app.
I don't have more time to spend on this, but I think I've made my point - there's lots of content and ideas that have not been fully explored, dig up some old posts and consider writing about these ideas. Or else, if there's a post you disagree with, feel free to downvote, but include why you're downvoting - it's a great way to give back to the community, promoting discussion and new ideas.
Hopefully you've gained an appreciation for what the older members of this community have done for you, as you enjoy the shade, consider planting trees for others by coming up with new ideas or revisiting old ones that haven't yet been fully explored.
In closing, I suggest that the reason the seduction/PUA/Men's Rights communities ultimately failed is because they forgot to return to their roots, to consider what they set out to do in the first place: create a place to discuss sexual strategy in a pure, unbiased forum. I thank redpillschool and the rest of the mod team for giving us such a space.

I fell in love with TRP because it told me to invest in myself mentally, physically, and socially .18 months later, I'm now a better man .My business is growing and I've never been physically fit .My frame and relationships have improved and I'm a wiser man than I was 2 years ago. Thanks a million TRP

I fell in love with TRP and all of you from the first post I ever read. This place is my favorite book, I pull it from the shelf and the whole book case slides open. Behind that is a room full of manly geniuses from every age, race and location. I was offered an unquestioned seat at that table, a safe place that actually let me catch my breath, and understand how you must move forward to become better in any category. I look up with starry eyes to the endorsed, like superheroes. If you ever feel like posting isnt worth it, or the sub is becoming "too toxic" please, I need you to understand how fucking thankful I will always be, and I hope to one day be able to raise my hand and purposely throw in my two cents with you all.
SMGPthrowaway 9y ago
Who here remembers Shark from Solve My Girl Problems? That dude woke me up.
Soarinc 9y ago
First of all, thanks to everyone who built TRP to what it is today.
Second, the tone kinda seemed apologetic a little bit? It's almost like we're being defensive or we are trying to make an official press release
Yeah that's it -- it took me damn near 20 minutes to down enough Jack & Coke to figure out what the fuck my brain is trying to make a point. I love TRP but this sounds more like a press-release and feels like we're not proud of kicking the world's ass. TRP has singlehandedly empowered men to crush pussy or become mgtow or just get lifting advice and free motivation to keep hitting the gym.
Either way, 3 years I hope this shit survives for 30 years and I can't wait to till TRP has like 25 million members internationally! HUZZAH!

By "abuse" you mean criticism from the people who can see the actual lack of content behind his pompous-, esoteric-, metaphysical-, numelological-, psuedoscientific-babble sprinkled with hijacked TRP terms (which he defines on the fly, to fit his particlar need). Also lest I forget, Nostradamus, ancient Egypt deities, Thora, Kabalah, reptilians, finding a connectiont between anal sex and demons, I'm pretty sure there was some metnion of "alien entity" already too.
While we're at it, have you noticed how he responds to critcism?
I could add "virtue signaling", whitch hunts and the classic "he'sa a troll, not a TRP man" lie.
I know that he knows what he's doing, I'm the only one that calls him on his bs.
TheRedTrader 9y ago
If you think globalism has been an overall good thing for us and our society you will disagree with NRS on a core level.
It is easier to criticize globalism in a setting where those you're talking to have already demonstrated some ability to rise above the group think and use their rationality for their own benefit rather than to rationalize away any glimpses of the truth from their blue pill conditioning.
Whilst I do agree NRS is not a straight talker, most of his underlying points are to do with propaganda pushing us away from seeing the truth of how things are, a good example of this is the difference between how normal people perceive the sexual market to work (blue pill lens) and how it actually works (red pill lens).
If you do believe globalism has been overall good for our society as some of your posts suggest then I suggest you make a post on the case for globalism within a Sexual Market plus economic context, you will most certainly get much better discussion on here than on 99% of the web and we can increase our knowledge and understanding together.

I'd be interested to read this /u/JamesSkepp . I disagree with this premise but I'll listen to a reasoned argument.
JamesSkepp Endorsed Contributor 9y ago
Hehe, IOW you want me to write you a reasoned "target practice lesson" :D
I'll consider it, I already have few other things in mind to address.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
I double dog dare you JamesSkepp to make your first top level post.
It's very easy to be the nitpicking critic of others, but if this is the "Fight Club" at some point you need to lead with an actual post of your own.
The Red Pill isn't supposed to be a scholarly debating society, but a place where you take risks and fucking do something.
It's the lack of this that stands out.
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
and
coming from the guy thinks /u/JamesSkepp advocates public gay butt secks and that will lead to, what, again?
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
That came about because he was defending Androgyny.
It was "Agree and Amplify"... so he makes conformist statements (sympathetic to the Blue Pill) and I called him a Faggot.
In the "good old days" on the Red Pill any conformist talk was attacked, but these days we let them hang around.
I liked the more brutal treatment for conformist types like we used to do.
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
That is not how I remember it at all, but I don't give a shit and I'm not going to go back at it.
It seemed bizarrely accelerated into hetero butt play turns into homo stuff, then really I recall you saying this had something to do with a real, macro-scale societal downturn. Crazy stuff, brah.
I still think you should get checked out for a brain tumor, or maybe a butt tumor, because you are talking out your ass.
The thing I like about you is you can reply to criticism (and abuse!) with balance and good humor. I disagree with most of your content, but your attitude is alright.
(Side question: ever read the old newspaper The Spotlight now American Free Press?)
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
No, I really haven't read the American Free Press.
Would you classify it as part of the "Alt Right" or "Alt Media"?
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
Much more old school. So far right they're left. It was better when it was The Spotlight; I remember back in the 90s they were attacking GHW Bush from a very unique angle.
Now that it's AFP unfortunately they buy EVERY goddam false flag story, which really dilutes the quality. That's why I thought of you.
JamesSkepp Endorsed Contributor 9y ago
This is a LIE. Provide quotes supporting this.
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
yeah, I read that shit. NRS has a bizarre interpretation of it, no surprise.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
You said that masculine and feminine polarity didn't matter and that it was "okay" to be Red Pill and Androgynous.
How much more specific can we get?
The quote is long forgotten, but the sides were drawn.
Do you wish to reverse that position?
Is masculinity in fact a part of the Red Pill now or no?
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
I wish you would flatter me by making up shit I never said, too. I thought I trolled you pretty hard in your thread two weeks ago. How about this:
Weirdos love the Illuminati, the Illuminati love feminists, feminists love gay public butt secks

Strum_Gewehr 9y ago
The Red Pill is a boon to mankind. It has coherently structured the vague intuitions gained by men through bad experiences and generated documented knowledge out of it. The Information age has spread a lot of misinformation so far and it is time to reverse it and this is only the beginning. The ticker at the top-right shows no signs of slowing down.
redpillschool Admin 9y ago
There's an interesting point this post raises, I wanted to comment on. Our early days were more conjecture than statement of fact, and we did spend a lot of time asking "what if this is how it is?"
I appreciate that there are a lot of posts these days with definitive language to help new subscribers understand which behaviors are advantageous and which aren't. (don't be a bitch, never let her see you cry, maintain frame, etc...)
The problem is that they don't always touch on the theory behind the scenes. Essentially, they act as shortcuts to the outcomes we perceive as advantageous, but they don't necessarily give new subscribers the tools and knowledge necessary to be able to synthesize their own theories and understandings.
TRP was born out of a group of guys realizing that things didn't happen the way society taught them, and then trying to find and establish what the rules really are. The only reason we have the theories we have today is that these guys wanted to understand the true nature of reality and wanted to piece together hypotheses that matched the data they saw.
The big uphill battle for them was being told they were nuts for even considering that women act in these ways we've observed.
Imagine, observing the lightswitch effect and wondering why and how this happens, but being told that it's sexist to even consider women might act this way, that women are wonderful and nobody would act this way towards you. Basically, you're crazy for seeing patterns where they just don't exist.
Except they do exist. And they keep happening to you.
Before the age of the internet, men had locker rooms and shop-talk, but that was about it. A few laughs over the shared experience that women were, and an understanding that other men knew.
But boys were growing up without fathers, instead looking up to televised surrogates further programming them into the weak, skinny jeaned, blue-pilled millennials we see today.
The few dads that were around were too afraid to say anything other than "happy wife, happy life." And that nonsense filled our brains for a few generations.
The internet has brought new opportunity to collective brainstorming, to let us compare notes, determine patterns where we're told there aren't any, and start to synthesize theories.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. The posts here are useful and provide a sense of belonging and community to the subscribership.
But I do like the posts that ask questions: Why does this happen? What can we learn from this? And has anybody else noticed this?
As an aside, I do despise posts that are imperatives (Do this, Don't do that). They always seem like overly platitude-ish garbage to make people feel good. We delete those on-sight.
[deleted]
FieldLine 9y ago
The reason why there's no innovation anymore, why the same definitive ideas are always on the front page, is because people downvote things they don't like without commenting why they dislike them.
There are very, very few people on TRP (Archwinger, Whisper, a couple of others) who can pull off writing a completely novel idea that immediately comes off as polished and thought out. And that's fine, no one is demanding a super high standard. But the problem then is that posts which are innovative but not polished are downvoted, leaving
1) only these exceptional posts, few and far between, and
2) poorly edited posts that say things that have already been said, but people can figure out the gist because they are familiar with the content and blindly upvote.
This wasn't an issue in the early days because traffic was much slower; even if a post was poorly received, it would sit on the front page for some time and discussion would take place. Now, if a post isn't immediately upvoted, most people don't see it at all, and everyone loses.
Stickying posts as the mod team has been doing is only a bandaid solution, ultimately the onus is on the TRP userbase to discuss why they disagree with an idea instead of just downvoting and moving on. Consider not downvoting at all if the post is well reasoned, even if you disagree with its point.
CopperFox3c Senior Endorsed 9y ago
The ironic thing about the denigration of fatherhood and the blue-pill brainwashing in the modern West is that it makes men less likely to seek real understanding, or to pursue the harder path of truly changing oneself. To ask questions. Many men would rather have the comfort and safety of platitudes and shortcuts and do-this/don't-do-that posts. They want to be told what to do. They have become habituated to it.
And too many newcomers here fail to understand that it is that habit that we actually trying to break.
It is like a sick cycle. The real danger as men is if we allow ourselves to descend into rants and self-pity, rather than seeking to understand and overcome.
The only way out, is through ...
[deleted] 9y ago
It is hard to get out of that mindset because we were raised to be "obedient" and always "ask permission". We are used to not thinking for ourselves and now we have to? It is quite a big jump for some.

FieldLine 9y ago
Most of it isn't new content, it's just interesting to see ideas stated as speculation rather than fact because they were being written out for the first time. I'm hoping that people will see this and realize that they can bring up ideas that aren't completely polished because no one has written about them before.
Once you've been here for a while, controversial content that can be discussed is much more interesting than a list of bullet points with ideas that have already been refined over the years.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
I've effectively picked up a personal "troll".
Other than one guy who zeroes in on my posts every day there is no significant problem.
I believe the reason I was chosen to be an EC is because I speak the truth without a filter all the time. That brazen disregard for political correctness can either inspire others to think or gain haters.
I do believe we are long overdue for a purge which would eliminate many of those who are not quite on board with our Red Pill mindset.
However, the last I heard they are using automated methods to target specific key words like "safe space" and delete posts that use such language. That may have ended though.
The Red Pill is the most honest and insightful place on the internet for men to discuss reality in a way that includes masculine thought. Most everywhere else the very idea that masculinity can exist and can be a good thing is rejected because of this ideal of universal equality.
I like the fact we don't pretend equality could work.
And it can't because sexual attraction cannot exist when women try to interact with non-masculine beta males.
Given the Brexit and Trump (as well as Iceland) the entire Red Pill / Manosphere / Alt Media / Alt Right has grown so large in such a short time I don't see it slowing any time soon.
I was at a bar last night (partied literally all day yesterday... started at 2pm at a Beer Garden and ended at midnight at a bar) and this guy I was talking with was basically speaking the Red Pill enlightened mind ideas, but he had never heard of it.
So maybe David Icke is correct... this whole "waking up" thing seems to be happening everywhere and without our direct influence.
The Age of Control through the Blue Pill may be destined to end.

It is weird, usually putting your dick in crazy implies a woman, in your case, keyboards.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
I'm on a tablet... so there is no separate keyboard... but you say things others have said.
There is no doubt that I'm not a "conformist" to anyone.
Crazy means thinking for yourself... that's why most people are sensible and sane.
And the funny thing is the rulers know this and exploit it.
The sheep think things are fine. (despite the presence of wolves)
PaperStreetVilla 9y ago
It should be a natural progression. Men are their own and only judge, the purpose is to think for yourself.
Then to immediately assume that everyone else should think for themselves exactly like you do.
Having said that, I like you and james for that. Not a lot of guys get conflict in their life, it's a nice running example of guys having conflict, and not needing big bad state to come in and solve it for them
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
yeah, they couldn't be more at odds, and yet I don't have to pick sides, they're both good.
[deleted] 9y ago
I think mentioning David Icke is why you get ridiculed. The guy thinks the queen of England is a shape shifting reptillian alien. We just do not need that sort of unhinged lunacy seeping into the red pill. A lot of your comments are solid, but then we get the crazy conspiracy theory stuff and discussions of how transhumanism is blue pill. I just think you need to re focus your obvious intelligence back to core red pill and leave out the fringe stuff
Kafkaevsky 9y ago
That's why I like him. He does not conform to what the norm is. He speaks his mind whether you think it's nuts or not. We need people like that.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
You know that David Icke speaks in abstractions right?
And do you even understand the concept of shapeshifting?
Let me explain...
Have you ever known someone who you "thought" you knew suddenly do something that "Red Pilled" you to realize they aren't as they seem? (a woman possibly)
That "shift in perception" can occur in an instant and it can be jarring.
The shift is in what you perceive.
The reason "some" people have trouble with a guy like David Icke is that he's speaking at a level of awareness most people have yet to experience.
So in that sense:
"I see Lizard People too."
...in essence David Icke is seeing the soul, not the surface.
It's the spiritual that he is perceiving, not the material. (the "Third Eye")
If you are "Third Eye Blind" then David Icke seems silly.

NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
The Red Pill metaphor is supposed to be about waking up.
So yes... I do think David Icke is very perceptive.
A case in point:
While most of us (including me) were totally suckered by 911 and believed the entire lie in the beginning David Icke was not fooled. You can go back a decade or more to videos where he explained everything waaaaaaaay ahead of others.
It took me a full decade to wake up and realize 911 was not as presented on the surface.
Actually it was the Enron records being housed in Building 7 that "flipped" the wake up switch for me because in the past I was involved in an actual Enron related scandal, so it became personal at that point.
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
Astounding. You must have been busy with other insane conspiracies in 2002 to not realize there was video of mainstream media commentators on site on 9/11/2001 saying there's no evidence of a jetliner crashing into the Pentagon here on the lawn or in Shanksville, PA, all we have here is a smoking hole in the ground, there are no bodies, no luggage, no seats, very little evidence of a 747 crashing
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
Like I said I was totally brainwashed.
In 2001 if the Mainstream Media said something was "true" then I believed it was true and if anyone objected I would attack them for being disloyal to America.
It took until fairly recently (since 2012 or so) that I saw the Building 7 videos and began to "follow the money" before I suspected there was a problem.
David Icke knew all along... but his knowledge was deeper because he understood the Globalist Tyranny waaaaay back then. He was even warning people that something like this was expected.
My awakening is relatively new.
I was a very loyal Republican back in 2001 and praised Bush during his entire presidency.
Now I know the Bush family is corrupt just like the Clintons.
[deleted] 9y ago
I actually read his book. It introduced me to a lot. I agree with some of what he thinks but I seriously question his conclusions. I do not think he is a credible source to quote. Better to point people to Aleister Crowley.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
Well Alister Crowley was more of a Satanist... a Dark Luciferian.
David Icke and Mark Passio are Luciferians who are just pure light. (not inverted)
It's 666 versus 777.

[deleted] 9y ago
This is just a quick note for any of our readers who see the above comment. NRS is talking utter shit. There is no such thing as 555 (beta), 666 versus 777, it is total lunacy. Segmenting good posters into their own corner would kill both subs. You're stuck with a bunch of clueless idiots on here, and a dead sub there.
The only way to bring new generations of members into the light is for older members to help guide them.
No purge necessary, but new members are encouraged to read before they speak.
If it's any comfort- we've been getting the accusation that "quality has dropped" since we had 100 subscribers. It can't possibly always be true, it's just a common complaint.
Want to see quality content? Post quality content, downvote bad content. Report trolls.
We often sticky good posts, regardless of their voted status.
Strum_Gewehr 9y ago
I think it is high time the sidebar is structured in the form of a syllabus. The easier to understand concepts followed by the tougher ones. Eg. Briffault's law should always be the first read for any newcomer as it quickly shatters any blue pill notions and gets the student in the right frame of mind. Something like 'How to Tease Bitches' or 'How to Manage your bitches' must be marked to be read at the very last. If these post are read at the outset it is very likely the noob gets overexcited and assumes he knows everything. In short, the Core Concepts before the PUA stuff.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
The size is the problem.
When I started there were just 20K subscribers and a kind of Mafia / Fight Club mentality. If anyone entered "The Club" they had to prove they belonged and if not they were banned.
In the beginning there were no "Red Pill Participation Trophies".
It was a brutal and violent time... it would not be unusual to see the word "Faggot" thrown about a fifty times in a day.
These days if you call someone a "Faggot" you will get those defending homosexuality or whatever... it's very different now.
There is less risk taking and more conforming.
But now we approach 200k subscribers and the mafia days are over.
No more purges, no more rough language... we are softer now.
I miss the old days, but this is what happens when something becomes wildly successful.
[deleted] 9y ago
well, we CAN stop it, it doesn't have to go through the same old cylce. Bar the gates! Ban the pussies! Every gaddam subreddit that gets too popular gets fuckin ruined by new people who think they are hot shit after 2 days. Needs more humble japanese culture... learn for years first then talk. Fucking americans..
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
Well that's why we need a massive purge.
Ban every poster that has the high probability of being fake.
redpillschool Admin 9y ago

[deleted] 9y ago
We cannot really "purge" though as, unless the idea itself is to troll or against the current rules, that would be censorship which we are heavily against. We cannot go private either as there are poor dudes who swallow the pill daily and they need to find us. How would we purge that which is toxic for TRP?
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
Well in the distant memory of the Red Pill there were huge purges. (many people banned in a day)
But that seems to no longer happen.
It's more easy going now... you can be significantly Blue Pill and post very conformist things and no one will ban you anymore. Some very soft Blue Pill leaning posts even get big upvotes.
The Red Pill has entered a later stage which is attracting less extreme individuals... sort of a Purple Pill.
I'm on the "far extreme" edge and may be determined too troublesome to be kept around. These things happen. Once anything has been around for a time (the Red Pill is four or five years old at least... with three I've been involved with) you start to develop more "acceptable" scribes who desire to clean up the edges and tame the image a bit.
The problem is how much you allow the Blue Pill softening to enter.
At some point the Red Pill is a mainstream movement.
Those at the beginning are not always those at the end.
The Alt Media / Alt Right has gotten so big Hillary Clinton has said she hopes to ban the entire thing, so the censorship coming from the Blue Pill side might hit us before we ever do it again.
Basically it's a Mind War... we want the Red Pill to win, they want the Blue Pill to win.
poochman 9y ago
I'm concerned with what happens to the Alt Right movement in the case of a Hillary win.
redpillschool Admin 9y ago
We keep growing. The turnout this year with Trump is a sign that it cannot be stopped. Even if we lose this battle, the war is far from over.
PaperStreetVilla 9y ago
Calm your tits, trust me, that ban log grows daily. The only reason you aren't seeing the purges is because someone hasn't made any ban bait posts in a while.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
Well that's good to hear.
It's probably better image wise not to publically ban people like in the old purges.
PaperStreetVilla 9y ago
I am only speaking for my role here, it's not as organized as you'd believe.
Shit posters post on odd morning hours, weekends etc. times when they know the least moderation is possible. Lots of those ban purges tend to draw them in from other subreddit brigades, so they are a little higher than they should be. TBP often brigades posts, and they can't help but join in on the dopamine rush.
Occasionally, I used to leave a few heads on pikes, leave a post up, lock it, throw an explanation, but I haven't seen it make a difference to the pace of shitposts, so I don't focus on it too much anymore.
It's really just too big, and there's too long of a vetting process to get more moderators, it will only take one errant mod to throw a gear in this whole mess...
At this point, (and I'm seeing it pick up lately, which is awesome, hence OP) of the other guys in the locker room starting to get back into that 'fight club' you were talking about earlier. And thank god.
It's the only way this place will thrive, the model of mods policing, a few flavor posters delivering content, and a mass of consumers reading it won't work. It will have to be a true male social matrix here to work.
Lo-G 9y ago
I think that many posters believe that they don't have any ideas worth posting here. Especially any that haven't been posted already.
I also think that trp has grown too big to have the same quality of content and the same vibe where regular posters know each other fairly well. Maybe the time has come to privatise the sub for a little while?
PaperStreetVilla 9y ago
You wouldn't believe how. Many posts are reworded trm concepts.
I mean, field reports are always welcome. Always. Failures, success, doesn't matter. It's all learning from other men
redpillschool Admin 9y ago
I still do them quite often. Just this past week I posted that I endorsed Trump because of sexual assault. We got a lot of bans from that.
Two months ago: Women are Children.
We still purge, we've just gotten very good at it, and I think the opposition is losing steam because they don't show up as often any more.
Our automod rules are very good, keeps most of them at bay.
Lo-G 9y ago
Then you do not agree that TRP as a sub seems to be getting softer than it used to be even a year or two ago?
BluestBlackBalls 9y ago
This post seems to be a means to forearm shit posters into not falling for aforementioned traps.
redpillschool Admin 9y ago
It's actually better than that. If they heed my warnings, we get less shit posts, if not, we still get to ban them. Net benefit for us.
My experience is that no matter how often I reveal my plans, shitposters gonna shitpost.
BluestBlackBalls 9y ago
Ahh, I like how you think.
haxurmind 9y ago
I liked the blind obedience test a while back, something to do with a health substances/diet post that required a little Google use to debunk.
The point of my mentioning Google (besides being more popular than StartPage or DuckDuckGo) is to encourage critical thinking be used to analyze posts in this sub.

So. Whatever happened to our founder pk_atheist?

Please pop in more often.

I read your first post. You realised the gap between Seduction and Men's Rights strategists. And, discovered the science of female behaviour. Now, we all know how it all makes sense and we are able to fully understand and play with female nature.
Hope you realise that you've saved many lives and helped lot of us succeed in life and bring hope and purpose in many men's lives
PaperStreetVilla 9y ago
hes occasionally popped his head out. He knows a bunch of the vanguards IRL, so doesn't come here much.
Came into PPD of all places for a bit, was kind of funny how dismissive he was of TBP

I'm sorry, PPD?

Why does he not have a tag ?
CrazyHorseInvincible 9y ago
Fair question. I suppose the answer is that u/pk_atheist had mostly departed reddit by the time the whole tag thing got started.
We should probably do something about that. I'll look into it.
harsha_hs 9y ago
Give him the founder member tag!
PaperStreetVilla 9y ago
I kind of like it. Like the fight club analogies, Tyler isn't in the ring, he's in the back now, circling around
I am Jacks acknowledgement it isn't about me

I've been reading TRP for almost three years (godDAMN I feel so lucky I found it when I did). I bookmark good posts and revisit them periodically. I just looked at my bookmark folder: over 1,500 posts from TRP (pared from many, many more). Of those, hundreds are not just good, but solid gold. And the comments are generally just as illuminating as the posts.
The central point of TRP can't be pinned down with one term, because, as the center, it radiates in many directions. But for me, the first, best concept that I internalized that helped me really move forward very quickly was about how to communicate (and when not to). Everything I read, from the very start, seemed to be about communication. Game, frame, whatever, it's all about communication.
The first thing I read that stuck: Women are children. That's about how to communicate with women.
The next topic that hit me: Female aversion to male vulnerability. That's about how to NOT communicate with women.
Then No unconditional love from a woman. That's about how to not expect a woman to communicate with you.
Replace communicate with some other word if it helps, it's all the same.
Unfortunately, the links I have for the last two topics, well, the posts were deleted (didn't have archive back then), but the comments are still gold. Anyone, let me know if you want those and I'll post it.
I have three posts from 2014 I'll share. None of these are explicitly about communication, but for me they told me all about it. Call it human interaction if you will. (PM me if you want the original URL, which will have many more comments.)
First, a post from /u/IllimitableMan, about, well, just about everything! This was HUGE for me. Just read it. One of his best.
Next, a post from /u/fluviant about frame. This helped me immensely. The word "communication" is never mentioned, but this all about it.
Last, a post from /u/ImnotTHATdrunk about frame and your problems and emotions and how women do not give a shit. Again, nothing explicitly about communication, but it's all about how to, and how not to.
For all these, you really should read the comments as well, solid extrapolation.
As for enjoying the shade and planting a tree, I only recently found a tree to plant, so check my submission history for how I handle shit tests (communication). It really took me these many years to feel like I had internalized this to feel confident enough to think I could pass back to the community what I have learned.
It is so bizarre that this feels like SECRET KNOWLEDGE when it really should be felt like basic truths. I am amazed daily even now.
[deleted] 9y ago
Appreciate the shoutout, bud.
/u/redpillschool's comment here is very pertinent to that post. A bit reactive in that I was reflecting on what did and did not work, but I am glad to see someone drawing value from it.
[deleted] 9y ago
I remember that post and also found it very helpful. There was a pattern in my own failed relationships that I couldn't see.
I was good at attraction, not so good down the road.
This post was a lightbulb
It was me who changed and all I needed to do was give myself permission to resurrect the frame that attracted her initially.
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
At long last. Salud.
-- exactly what /u/FieldLine was saying he (and I) liked about posts from back then, speculation on what works, so we've come full circle.
The real subtlety in your old post was in your comments to the replies. Let her hand your frame back to you. That turns out to be some subtle shit, and it only works if you are a stud originally.
angryguy4444 9y ago
Is there a way to share the post you bookmarked with us?
Soarinc 9y ago
Hey there was a specific guy asking me to share my 40 bookmarks that are like 1-2 years old he will FLIP HIS SHIT if you somehow find a way to share all these bookmarks!
AlerioX 9y ago
I haven't bookmarked great posts, instead I installed the pocket app on my smartphone and tablet (and it's preinstalled on my Kobo ereader) so when I see a great post on here or on ROK or somewhere else I click the pocket symbol in the chrome browser extension and I can read it on all devices, sort it via tags and favorize the best posts.
I do this since two years and my pocket is full of 400 articles of which 100 are marked as favourites.
This is getting out of hand.
I could pretty much print a huge book out of all these articles.
But when you read ROK, reddit/redpill, rationalmale Esther Vilar and all the other stuff it gets redundant. Do you feel this, too?
I've noticed that the amount of articles I throw into my pocket gets lower every month.
_the_shape_ 9y ago
It becomes a little more clear why they're not "basic truths" if you were to ask 50 random men what they thought about treating women like children, hypergamy, AF/BB etc. I'm certainly not suggesting that you actually give that a spin, of course, because the blue world does not receive criticisms of the pillars that make up their reality very well, to put it mildly, as I'm sure you probably know by now.
It's "secret knowledge" because you're forbidden from even questioning the narrative. If it is considered misogynistic to examine if it's even possible that yes, all women are whores for the right guy, if that is a statement you are expected to immediately shut down and condemn as being anti-woman and "ridiculous" and "offensive", then I'm sure one can then see how something like TRP ends up becoming a bastion of
wrong-think"secret knowledge"ImVendetta 9y ago
It would be great if you could share your bookmarks with us. I would love to see someone with 3 years of TRP experience what proved to be really helpful for you.
Thanks.
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
You guys asking for my bookmarks, it would likely be a wasted effort. It's a mess. Also it's very specific to ME and my situation. I'm an older married dude so there's a lot of stuff that I don't even need to consider that's probably really important to you guys.
Maybe I'll get some together in themes or something and make a post. I do have access to some that you'll never find because they've been deleted.
In the meantime, scroll up, click on TOP, then over to the left, select ALL TIME.
icanhazTRP 9y ago
Thanks for sharing these.
Suggestion: you can also try web.archive.org for retrieving the deleted posts you mentioned.
Cheers,
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
unfortunately can't post those links without the automod deleting it, but thanks
I just looked up the one about Female aversion to male vulnerability and it is brutal, as I remembered. shudder
icanhazTRP 9y ago
So use web.archive.org to fetch the original article, retrieve it with archive.is, and post the links.
Now you made me interested in reading it man!
whatsthisgarg 9y ago
that is quite insane but here you go
Female aversion to male vulnerability
So many times in 2014 when I was reading stuff like this, I had eerie moments of revelations of times in my own life, that's why that happened, that's why she did that, I had no idea when I was younger
Edit: notice the tone of innocence and wonder in this guy's writing, simultaneously handing out such wisdom! THAT'S what we had a lot of back then.
ReddittFeist 9y ago
Gotta call BS on this one:
Just because you don't know where the serious seduction community hangs out doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
In fact, in terms of reality-based dealings with women, I would say that seductionists are way, way ahead of the purple pillers and self-deluding betas who populate this subred.
[deleted] 9y ago
And where might this be? I'm curious what I could learn from another forum like TRP. An even more specialized one.
Soarinc 9y ago
Are you talking about the alt.seduction list serve? (the OP was clear he's referring to the seduction subreddit)
