The point of my post is to point out the difficult challenge of overcoming barriers to existential problems of the Red Pill and how the result is worth it.
Recently, someone posted the result of increased female attention after becoming more fit. His argument is that the response to the result may be negative and resentment.
You could be the most evil human being on this planet. You could be a saint. You could be rich, and you could be poor. Yet, the difference in your social and sex life could be just a difference of 25 lbs. Of course, I'm using an arbitrary number to express a concept.
Does it bother you that so much of what you imagine comprises you as an individual has to take a backseat to your physical presence? If it does, you're not alone. It doesn't change how nature and human behavior work, unfortunately.
Now, what if it were true? What if it was true that everything you want in a relationship, from the women you want to date, the friends and family you have and how they treat you - was only 25 lbs? I'll take your denial and excuses in stride and consideration.
I imagine you'd be angry.
How could you treat me this way?! I'm still the same person. What if I lost muscle/gained weight again? Are these people going to be back to treating me as before? Women are ridiculous!
The truth is - it is innately human to do so. You may find yourself treating others differently in the mere balance of just 25 - 50 - 100 lbs.
The better question is - is it worth it?
Is it worth it to put on an extra slab of 25 lbs of muscle on yourself? Is it worth it to shed 25 lbs of fat to see the difference in how you are treated? Of course. The answer is, "Of course." The difference in a life and death situation are sometimes a few seconds, a few nanoseconds. The difference in your life turning around and getting what you want out of it could be a mere 25 lbs. It is absolutely worth it to find out. It is absolutely not arbitrary.

bsutansalt 6y ago
25lbs of fat is equivalent to 87,500 calories (gained or lost). That may sound like a lot if you're trying to lose
weightbody fat, but at 500 a day--which is entirely achievable--you'd lose that mass in just under 6 months if you are consistent.Think about other life changing things you can do and consider how much time it takes to accomplish it? 6 months is a tiny duration comparatively speaking.
holdenscofield 6y ago
i did exactly. i lost 33 lbs in 6.5 months without working out. i had no money to workout at gym but continued until i reach my goal. Then 2 motnhs later, i started working out very strictly and regularly. Nearly 8 months passed and i gained 22 Lbs (11kg) with proper bulking and discipline. It is the best long term invesment. I got great results and i always be appreciate to TRP for opening my eyes.

The Slight Edge by Jeff Olson is a good read in order to understand the power of accumulating small efforts over time in a consistent way.
This one things he says I like: the reason why we do not finish a 300 page book in a month is not the fact that reading 10 pages a day is hard, it is because it is as easy to do as it is not to do it.

I've studied SS quite in depth through the academy, seminars and shit for a couple years. I'm thinking of doing in depth posts with mechanical analysis of the lifts and make the case for strength first.
This shit is easy. People like to make it complicated.

SouloftheVoid 6y ago
I lost 40 lbs in 5 months by doing keto because I was sick of being obese and I did notice I was being treated differently after I lost the weight. I am not angry about it, it is what it is. I know I would be more inclined to be nicer to a young hot chick versus an old fat one simply because of biology and I already assumed that everyone else worked the same way.
That being said, keto is definitely the best way to go from being fat to being not fat.
Odd_String 6y ago
I never really liked Keto that much. How hard is it to eat a protein packed low-fat salad for three meals a day? Lettuce is cheap, and you can get cheap protein.
I'm not trying to knock your progress. Everyone does what works for them. Congratulations on your progress.
SouloftheVoid 6y ago
Thank you. It not being very hard is actually why keto worked for me. I mean it was hard starting out but after a while avoiding carbs becomes second nature and they have more keto-friendly options coming out every year. Not having to do tedious calorie-counting and still losing weight is the best part of keto.
Odd_String 6y ago
I've seen and read a lot of testimonials that have shown its effectiveness. I think with intermittent fasting and exercise anyone could shred body fat very consistently.
cakefmateus 6y ago
Another thing I don't see being talked too much here: FACIAL GAINS. When you get slim as fuck your face really appears, you get a more chiseled face and that shit is GOOD. When you're fat your face is hidden behind all that fat
Odd_String 6y ago
True story. My face is looking more sharp, which was unexpected.
DubbleFUPAwitCheez 6y ago
I've spoken about the topic of SMV and fat loss numerous times around here but due to the tenacity needed to lose and maintain it I believe it's worth reiterating.
Here's my very first experience with it. For some reason I haven't told this story yet.
I was a high school football lineman so I ate however much I wanted of whatever I wanted and it made me a big strong boy. I used this excuse until the end of my football career and had to look elsewhere for my prestige. I'll tell you, if you're a big fat guy and you're not playing a sport, you're just a big fat guy.
I did manage to get a thin, attractive young girlfriend near the end of high school but she was full of shit tests. We were together for a few years and then she headed off to college out of town. Around that time I had finally started to lose the weight. When I went to go visit her at her college I had managed to lose somewhere in the realm of 80 lbs. Lost a ton of muscle too but whatever, I was still in phenomenal shape compared to the majority of people that were gaining college weight.
So one thing this girl always did when she was horny or feeling lovey is she would say "you're so cute." We went to a party when I was visiting and she was doing her share of drinking, so when we get back to her dorm it's time to frick. Lights are off, she's making out with me, grinding on me and breathely says to me for the first time, "you're so hot." And that's when I knew being overweight was unattractive to women. Even if they say "you're perfect", "I love you", "I'd do anything for you" being attractive is always better than being unattractive.
Anyway, I broke up with her the next day. I wasn't going to do a long distance thing. 3 hour drive? Early 20s me wasn't putting up with that shit.
Odd_String 6y ago
Always interesting to hear the guy pulling Light-switch Effect.
MaterialVirus 6y ago
That 25lbs isnt just for show though. It takes so much to earn that. That 25 lbs is your fucking trophy and a testament to everyone else that you mean business and they better not fuck around with you because you will actually do something about it.

In total, i lost 45kg (around 100lbs) of excess weight in the past 3 years. I'm the leanest i have been in my life. I'm aiming to have a six pack, and i still need to lose around 5-7kg of fat around my belly & love handles. My genetics & work are shit for this, but i go 4 times a week, 2hs, to lift like a madman. Still, the difference in how people see you & treat you is astonishing. Is getting hard as fuck, as i have been in a caloric deficit for the past 3 years, counting everything i eat & now doing a food rotation just to wake up a bit more my metabolism, but it worth it. Really, is so much work that i don't do it for the womans or the people anymore. I love how i can now use slim fit clothes, how i have visible biceps, and how i'm not a hypocrite, why i don't like fat girls, so i can't be a fat guy right?
HeidekrautRot-Lila 6y ago
Yes of course it will. If you don't study for it, it could very well end up on the exam and be the difference between failing and passing.

While I agree it's worth it either way, as someone who has done both 25 pounds of LEAN muscle or fat loss is NOT the same thing. 25 pounds fat loss can be achieved by Halloween if you get your ass in gear and learn to diet properly.

25 pounds of muscle may take you 2 years, with bulk and cut cycles, unless you have experience in strength/conditioning to know what you're doing. I went from 185 to 208 in a recent bulk and never got above 15% body fat. Trying to cut down to single digits body fat (\~195) before bulking again. This all took my maybe a little less than a year and is probably 2 pounds of muscle for every pound of fat.

That said I'm tall so might take others shorter
xx-Rain_Maker-xx 6y ago
Man, I'm in the same situation. Getting 25 lbs of pure muscle is very hard.
PandaEmperor69 6y ago
more importantly, what does anything matter if you're skinny/fat?
a bit deeper, it's not about what we do, but why and how. Someone skinny/fat doing anything is already a sign that he's doing it badly and for the wrong motives.
Odd_String 6y ago
Besides health? It matters if you want a specific outcome of making the choice. If you don't want anything, then don't do anything.
PandaEmperor69 6y ago
Maybe I wasn't clear. What is it that one wants in general if not beauty of some sort? Not much point in anything if you're not willing to do the (little) effort it takes to not be fugly.
Everybody needs rituals, because those are what frames everything and anything as being worthwhile. Developing ones body is a fundamental one.
Odd_String 6y ago
You weren't clear, but that's ok.
Finding value in your own aesthetics is not as important as it is to find it in your health. What's more important in the context of this sub is understanding what women value.
Rituals are great as long as they serve a purpose such as establishing good foundational habits.
PandaEmperor69 6y ago
still think this doesn't go quite deep enough. Foundational - for what? The ritual is the aim, "the journey is the destination". So for example if you don't feel the need to lift, you're not on the journey.
Odd_String 6y ago
I like your attitude, but have you considered taking a writing class?

I lost 50 pounds over the course of the last year and I’m definitely noticing differences. You tend to just get noticed more when you aren’t a steaming pile of lard. People tend to ignore you when you aren’t pleasing to look at. That goes for everyone, men and women. There’s a very clear difference in the amount of deference and respect you get when you get more fit. Sure, I could get all butthurt about it, but guess what? Fat people don’t like looking at other fat people either!
Thinkingard 6y ago
“People tend to ignore you when you aren’t pleasing to look at.”
Damn cold hard truth there. We live in a world where people need to be good looking. No amount of self delusion can make a difference.
spartan_317 6y ago
There is a Chapter in "The Book Of Pook"about how his level of attraction improved as he got bigger. I've gained 45lbs & the way that both men and women treat me is significantly different. The physical transformation also had an affect on me mentally as well.

Odd_String 6y ago
Life and stress could easily bring it all back. The point of the post is that ultimately sexual market value at face value is based on superficial ideals. Once you overcome the challenge of facing that fact, dealing with the ups and downs - like stocks of owning yourself - becomes easier to deal with.
INNASKILLZ2K18 6y ago
Yes, it's a tough part of life. In a sense you have to play the game. However, I know for myself if you stacked two women side by side with extremely similar personalities but one being 25 pounds lighter, tighter and more physically attractive, I know which one I would want.
I can admit that, so on some level I have to accept it in others.
Cods_gift_to_reddit 6y ago
Of course. One of the great things about this reality is that it is true for you too. You are allowed to be as picky and shallow as you want on the dating scene without feeling guilty about it because it's just your human nature

I still think this is more of an US thing.
I live in scandinavia and I've gone from "average fit physique" @ 85kg (~190lbs) to bulked up 110kg (~240lbs) and back to ripped 90kg (~200lbs) @ 10% BF and I haven't noticed too much difference in how girls treat me (altho, when I was 110kg, I seemed to intimidate especially other men). Occasionally I get compliments about my body but they are somewhat rare even tho my physique is at top 1% right now.
Atheist_Utopia 6y ago

The difference can be as little as 8 lbs (3kg). No. I'm serious.
I was a "Hungry skeleton" IRL who once in a while picked up picking things up and putting them down on regular. Nothing fancy, just Starting Strength and sticking to it for 4 months I went from 66 kg (146 lbs) to 70 kg (154 lbs). At 186 cm (6'1'').
I like to joke that this small change made me go from hungry skeleton computer nerd with bad back to skinny IT professional in the eyes of women I met. And the change of how they were treating me was not because of a "change of attitude" or "self-respect" or any other popular excuse. If anything, it made my self-respect worse, because after 6 months I still felt like a weakling, who began to stall on his gains.
The worst part, the part that made me finally swallow TRP and not spit it back, was that even some of my long time female friends, which had LTR boyfriends at the time and "LJBF'd" me before, began to treat me differently. Nothing ever came of it, but the difference in behavior between "before and after I could squat my body weight" was hard to miss.
It's a bitter-sweet realization.

you didnt gain only 3kgs. you probably gained more but lost fat too. i didnt gain nor lose a single kilo in 8 mths of lifting and i ate properly. just lost fat and gained pure muscle mass. it felt so fucking good to look at my body. also, the people's reactions...
today, after 1,5y+ of lifting i'm starting to get used to women eyefucking me sometimes. never stop lifting my brethren.
SmamelessMe 6y ago
There might have been a component to that, but there was not much fat to lose on a skinny person with BMI of 19. My guess is I gained 3kg of pure muscle in 4-6 months, so the number does not look as impressive. Looking back I understand that I did look considerable better, even if I was was feeling down because of failing to live up to goals I set for myself.
PM_ME_YOUR_DREAMSS 6y ago
Long time lurker, first time poster, but this is spot on from my experience. I was chubby/fat in high school and had zero luck with women. I had tons of female friends, but always the best friend, never the boyfriend.
After high school I had a run of bad luck with my health which was fucking horrible (bowel issues). I left the hospital emaciated and was now in a position I needed to gain weight. Working manual labor I ate whatever I wanted and slowly gained muscle and filled out nicely.
I started crushing pussy as soon as I realized women found me attractive. I was shocked at the women I was pulling, they were out of my league before. That thought process changed though, I started treating women like they were lucky to be with me. Any BS and I got rid of them and went after a friend. That attitude combined with the shape I was in was fatal.
There have been ups and downs though. I'm still in great shape, but going bald and trying to develop the confidence to shave my head. Admittedly this has affected my game, but I can work on it.
BornEze 6y ago
Try looking into finasteride or saw palmetto and minoxidil to help out with the balding, my guy.
PM_ME_YOUR_DREAMSS 6y ago
I considered using the finasteride, but in like 2-3% of people there's a side effect of irreversible erectile dysfunction. I've had multiple adverse reactions to medications and don't want to risk it. I tried minoxidil too, it slowed the balding process, but gave me horrible dandruff so I stopped using it. I'm at the acceptance phase now, and need move towards being confident. Millions of men are bald and do just fine with the ladies. I can too.
Atheist_Utopia 6y ago
You just described my dream, so I'll PM you.
Odd_String 6y ago
A lot of women love bald men. I shaved my head once just to stay cool one summer and found this out. Different group of women were attracted to me. It was strange. I don't feel like shaving my head again, but I do miss them.

As a fat guy who fluctuates, I am received better when I'm in better shape
CHIPPENDALESIXNINE 6y ago
Big and strong attracts rough hoes who are ready and willing and guys who wanna know how to get big. During the day people get out of your way, during night at bars you can stand out to people who want to fight. You stand out with your shirt on, yet disappoint when it's off and people expect a six pack.
Being ripped and fit attracts more reserved/girl next door types and guys that say it's easy to have a six pack if you have no muscle. You look skinny with a shirt on and sexy with your shirt off. Bad thing is you can't take your shirt off everywhere unless you wanna look like a douche. Just an observation I got from having been both body types.
Being average/skinny fat sucks. You don't stand out with your shirt on, you look fat and still have no muscle with your shirt off and you're weak. When it comes to body type, be anywhere except in the middle of the spectrum.
Odd_String 6y ago
I guess the best approach is to focus on strength, endurance, and keeping your body fat percentage low.
lala_xyyz 6y ago
it's pretty obvious, isn't it? bulk at winter, cut at summer, enjoy the best of both worlds
420KUSHBUSH 6y ago
Thanks for explaining my bodytype, it all makes sense now. Did you enjoy having a stronger bodytype or a fit bodytype? Any key differences as to why you preferred one over the other
frykidse 6y ago
Heres the problem with that whole statement. Your personality is malleable. If you make this massive change, you are not the same person anymore.
Besides that, 25lbs of lean mass gain is a ridiculously huge number. That's years of effort natty. (girls dont want bodybuilder builds. they just want a bit of muscle & leanness. Dudes on the other hand appreciate bodybuilding builds. I chat up big dudes all the time. "Hey bro you look great. What's your program etc etc." So depending on your Kinsey scale you do you bruh) You need 6mos of solid gym time (no fuck arounditis, decent program of choice) to have "sexy" muscles. That's it.
25lbs of fat loss is 2-3mos effort. Ask me how I went from 185 winter bulk to 155 summer body mode this spring.
Yes people treat you differently. Yes you treat people differently yourself. You have changed. Your self-image has changed, therefore your innate image-matching has changed. I scoff at girls I used to think were kinda ok these days. my image- matching has changed.
There are no downsides to positive improvement. Only excuses & whining holding you back.
OP- What is your point here?
Odd_String 6y ago
The point is that you have to realize self-improvement and fitness are luxuries and women love luxuries. A common story is a person who gains back their weight, loses their gains due to injury and leads a similar life to what they had before - possibly more bitter - possibly less once they've tasted what their sex and social life could be like. Take the good and the bad in stride. Enjoy it while it lasts and try to make it last.
bobfrumacct 6y ago
I lost 110lbs and it's eye opening how women treat you. I'm also talking about girls that I've known for a while. Post a progress photo and they're sliding into my dm's like crazy.
i-am-the-prize 6y ago
Me too, over 110 pounds in 1.5 yrs. The one's I've known for a while: I get awkward comments at work functions or friends of friends at seasonal parties/block parties/sporting events... the women/wives rub my shoulders with under their breath comments like: "I wish my husband would do what you did / look like you do" umm, ok (?)
seriously, the ASD gets weak when the body is on fleek. (sorry, not sorry)

A huge part of red pill philosophy is that getting/staying fit is so much more then increasing physical attraction. It shows you get shit done. It shows you have urgency to get out of bed and care about yourself. There are literally no reasonable negatives to working out. It's good for mental health, physical health, encourages other positive habits, etc. Unless you have a real health problem that prohibits exercise, you're only giving an excuse and therefore you are weak in every sense of the word.

Meh, BMI is trash. 27.5, which supposedly is "overweight".
I'm a lot more desirable than when I weighted 25 KG less (athletic at both weights, less body fat at the lower).
BenchMadeEmissary 6y ago
BMI is trash for athletic people, not your average joe. Many bodybuilders are considered "obese" and even non bodybuilders that still have a hefty weight of muscle are considered overweight. If you have +5kg of muscle then you shouldn't care about your BMI.
[deleted] 6y ago
12% body fat here and am overweight per BMI at 6'3 haha but it's a good metric overall. If you you are an athlete or lift then yea avoid
CryptoViceroy 6y ago
FFMI (Fat Free Mass Index) is a much better indicator than BMI
jrr6415sun 6y ago
most people on here aren't trying to be average, that's the whole point of TRP is to strive to be above the average and athletic.
suddenlysnowedinn 6y ago
BMI is a useful metric for those who are overweight and haven't developed their musculature properly.
For those who are fit and lift heavy? Yeah, BMI is garbage.
[deleted] 6y ago
which is a very small portion of the population. For the average joe BMI is a good rule of thumb.

This is where it gets really weird: this whole time, while I’m getting all this attention from girls, I’m really uncomfortable because it conflicts with a lifetime of what I’ve told myself about being ugly to women.
12-14 months: I finally come to accept that women find me attractive. Yes, I had to accept it. Because it ran counter to a lifetime of programming and self-hatred.
24 months: beautiful girls I’m making out with can’t stop telling me how hot I am, as if they can’t believe their luck.
Lifting weights, boys. Just be patient with the results and understand that your insecurities won’t magically disappear once you’re lifting a decent amount but things will get gradually easier.
mushman59 6y ago
Brotha, this is word for word me lol. Cheers to our new lives.
[deleted] 6y ago
Whats your body weight and body fat % just curious. I'm somewhere between your 12-14 months and 24 months I feel. Is a six pack needed to reach that hot status?
8380atgmaildotcom 6y ago
Everyone is different buy use reception from women as a gauge marker for where you stand
Jugurthajones87 6y ago
Not sure what my body fat is but i reckon it’s not too bad. I’m 6’7 and 235, arms are just under 18”. Not a whole lot of flab.
Six pack is needed. Not to reach hot status but because you don’t want to be hot and then take off your shirt and have nothing there. It would look a little off. But in my experience, they’re already into my look well before I ever take off my shirt.
FanaticMind 6y ago
Oh come on, it's not lifting weight. It's just having an average body at 6'7.
Jugurthajones87 6y ago
Being 6’7 never did me any good till I got in shape. Now it’s like a force multiplier.
idonthavtitsbcimaguy 6y ago
Hell no. If you think this way you're going to have no success. It's not about height, at all, frankly. It's about presenting yourself and developing a completely confident frame of mind, and lifting and getting in shape helps extraordinarily with this. A 5'7'' guy who is completely confident in himself, and looks and feels good all the time will have much more success than a lanky ass 6'7'' dude who walks around with no confidence. I have first-hand experience with this.
Jugurthajones87 6y ago
Totally agree. I had a love/hate relationship with my height most of my life, mostly hated it because I had no confidence. All being tall does is magnify whatever else you have going on, so it’s like my lack of confidence was being broadcast way further than a normal beta’s.
OTOH I realized one day that if I got in shape, my height would broadcast my physique far and wide as well and it does that too.
Thinkingard 6y ago
A lot of tall guys can be very goofy looking and lanky.
Jugurthajones87 6y ago
Exactly. I was never goofy looking but if you’re thin at 6’ it doesn’t stand out as much as if you’re thin at 6’7.
420KUSHBUSH 6y ago
What's worse is I'm at the point where shirtless I look very good although even with a t-shirt on you wouldn't be able to guess so

To take the discussion a step further- I would argue that anyone who is still getting angry or negative feelings about being treated differently on any aspect of their persona (let alone only their physical aspect), is in plain denial.
Why wouldn't you be seen in a more positive light for improving yourself, if only at a physical level.
Given, in an LTR (platonic or otherwise) the other person will know you better than to judge you on physicality alone, and yet a better physicality would always add value. I have gone from 99 pounds to 155 to somewhere in between (174 cm), and like most other goals, it's about priorities.
Pussyshack 6y ago
I stay fit for me. Attracting bitches is a side benefit.
Yet 90% of the attention I get from women is from ugly/fat women. I hardly see any attractive women walking around in my everyday activities. Unfortunate.
SouloftheVoid 6y ago
2/3 of women are overweight or obese, it's an epidemic but don't you dare body-shame them!

Would you be more willing to step foot in a place after you see the type of crowd that attends fast food chains in one place or would seeing the type of people that attend fancy restaurants make you more inclined?
L3onard3 6y ago
The main reason for achieving an elite physique is TRP point 1 is that it can’t be faked. It takes consistent dedication to lifting heavy weights. That appeals to others because you at least have the self discipline to make it a reality.
ThirstySasquatch 6y ago
Losing weight and getting fit was one of the biggest things to give me the red pill.
At first, I wanted to get fit to be more attractive. However, it quickly became a big and very enjoyable part of my life that some how affected a lot of things during each and every day.
Girls I went to high school with would see pictures of me and ask what I was up to over Facebook despite us barely ever talking. They ask if I was single, what I did for work and tell me that I was looking great. At first, the attention was welcomed but I quickly swallowed the red pill because of it.
They wanted what I was in that moment but none appreciated the hard work I put into getting where I was/am. They couldn't comprehend why I counted calories, why I went to the gym at 5am or stopped binge drinking. Yet it was those things that had given the result which now attracted them.
That's what taught me a valuable lesson about good looking women. 98% of them have always been good looking, from their early teens. Due mainly to being active as a child and teen, a good diet administered by parents, their genetics, etc. They didn't actively work for it. Then, when they hit mid 20's all the binge drinking catches up. They likely have quit all the activites they were in during their teens and thus speeding weight gain. But yet, they always see themselves as attractive despite becoming whales because it's what theyve always been.
[deleted] 6y ago
there are quality women that actually enjoy fitness and exercise. But you're right - a ton are just attractive but dont care to exercise and that will not last by the time 30 hits.
I have guy friends the same way. Played sports and got girls in high school or college, gave it up because no coach was there to force them to exercise, and now are clueless why they cant get laid.

It's painful to be an 'ugly duckling' but damn it's nice knowing motivation knowing how the world works.
420KUSHBUSH 6y ago
Any successful person in anything will tell you this not only applies in the sexual dating way but in every single thing imaginable. That's just one of the cornerstones
Odd_String 6y ago

finalwar 6y ago
I can confirm this is how it works
From a big man (was 350) perspective, having lost 110+ lbs in the last year, i still think of myself as a fat fuck.
So women thinking they are still beautiful would make sense.
MaterialVirus 6y ago
To be fair if you arent 6'5, 240 is still pretty fat unless you're built like fucking he-man.

Personally, I think skinny guys could do with good regimented bulking programs. In fact, I think that's what they're meant for.

For most men 25 lbs is the difference between desirable and sort-of-ok-in-a-good-light.
For most women 25 lbs is the difference between desirable and sweating swampbeast.
Odd_String 6y ago
I wonder if that's why they feel no sympathy for fat/skinny guys.
i-am-the-prize 6y ago
I've lost > 110# of fat in 1.5 yrs. and gained muscle and strength and shoulder/chest/back/arm size vs. when i was a doughboy (no pre/post pics, but been doing tape measure of body parts the whole time)
What changed? / What did I learn?

1) my sphere of influence went from "the group near me, drink in hand" (it was: the women who could hear me speak and sample my wit, see my chubby cherub like handsome face, and such), to the whole damn room when I walk in. What they see: no more cherub, now a strong jaw line and the shoulder-to-waist V shape I've cultivated. Sure, the face to face skills are still there. And when I'm up close I now get to watch them play with their hair more and turn hips/shoulders to me more, but the biggest difference is the "at a distance" IOI's and double takes and tells from 20', 40', 60' away. Before I was one more fat sack-of-shit in a sea of dad-bods. No more. Being fit puts you ahead of 75% of other men before you even say a word. Being really fit puts you in the top 5-10%.
2) Women are visually stimulated, too. Sure they may read porn stories more than guys (read "a billion wicked thoughts" for more info) but to think they're non-visually turned-on is utter BS. My outward fitness improvements (specifically: musculature, BF% (I've gone from above 40% to below 15%), skin tone/coloration/glow, cardio (used to get winded doing 2 flights of stairs) - all of these improvements exude: good genes, strong drive, ability, virility, discipline, strong Testosterone levels, strength strength strength. What women subconsciously desire in a man.

In one sense, at first, it was a little annoying (gee, i'm still the same guy, why give me attention now?) but I soon realized, I'm not the same guy. So that was simply a defense mechanism my (old) ego had built for protecting itself. I was hamstering myself. Examples of how I changed:
So, maybe 25# will do it for you, maybe it won't. I can say 100# has been life changing for me and I assume some number lower than that can do the same for others.
finalwar 6y ago
Current weight if you don't mind sharing?
i-am-the-prize 6y ago
I'm currently just under 210.

At 5 pounds ago, i was 14% BF (using non caliper/non-navy-method) source. So possibly 13% BF now, will get tested again in a few weeks. My starting BF% was closer to 50% than 40%, let's just say. Specific numbers are used/posted with my non RP reddit account so purposely not being used here. But I have the numbers and stats and medical grade testing to know it's not BS and me just "thinking" i was X % before and now.

Maybe in the dating phase, and in posts here, I've heard people say "don't tell her how hard you work out" they want "a natural physical specimen" / "a natural alpha" and that this is important to women, but oddly i think as my peers (close to 50 yrs old) have seen my change (parents of my kids friends, for example, who only see me every few months) they know:

Environment activates genes, i used to be upset that i gained fat easily - I now know my ancestors were lucky to have that ability to put on fat easily when food was scarce, now I just have to understand my body, not hate it. (kinda like awalt, and ngaf) This is the hand I've been dealt, so work it.
Don't hate them for liking the new-you more, they can't help it. They're wired to. AWALT.

You could also look at the difference between being a very attractive male and a not so attractive male is a couple inches in height and a few millimeters in the facial structure.
Look, mating is such a superficial process. The more we see it as such, the more we become indifferent and detached from it.

RobertLongshaft81 6y ago
Surely you get fit and find out? I can assure you its bollocks but I would implore you to find out for yourself.
lobstergenocide 6y ago
You’re lying to yourself if you think you treat a fit girl and a chubby girl the same way, why would you expect them to act differently
RainySeasonInPH 6y ago
Because of a million fucking smarmy lies told to you growing up, pervasive in the culture, about how "women are attracted to [money/status/fame/good providers/insert nonsense here], not looks, men are attracted to looks."
Along with, "just be yourself, the right one will come along, there's somebody for everybody, she will love you for who you are," seeing countless useless flaccid dorks end up with hot girls in TV and media... a thousand things. Then you do all that, crash, and end up here, because that doesn't work. (Or worse, you don't end up here. )
Of course it's bullshit. It's the bullshit we're here to deprogram.
"Women don't care about looks" is a prevalent lie. And it's not a lie that anyone here came up with themselves, it's a lie that they've been told, repeatedly. And picking up a barbell is the cure, because most people still cannot believe that women are like that until they have proven it to themselves.
You see, the Western feminist narrative is not actually that men and women are the same. It's that women are better. They don't care about things like looks, because that's objectifying people. They aren't sexual, because sexuality is frowned by society. They are superior beings that respond to respect and communication, and their pussies are reserved for people that they really care about and who care about them.
After a lifetime of believing this shit, it can be a shocking to adjust to the reality that women want to be fucked by someone that gets their panties wet.
It's interesting that there is an element of truth in this Blue Pill madness, because male attractiveness is in fact mostly behavioral. But to prove that red pill fact to yourself, you have to interact with a lot of women, and it is a lot harder to teach the amount of game needed to get a ugly man laid, than it is to get a man not ugly and let him learn it for himself.
i-am-the-prize 6y ago

when the herbs finally get the girls at 33, say the girl's at 28-29 after they can't pull hawt guys anymore, it's like the betas long wait gets validated... i read this in rollo and elsewhere. no i'v seen it.

I love coffee. I drink several espressos a day, at various spots around my city, and I live near a very hip/young part of town, 2 law schools there, lots of graduate students and early 30 yr old professionals drinking joe, and talking.
Since finding RP I take out my earpods sometimes to hear them talk, cringey, and I remember saying some of the same stuff when i was their age. i have to stifle a laugh a few times a week.

I'm on the board of a non profit, one of my fellow board members sent an email to the group last night falling on his sword, for a fauxpas at an event. instead of just apologizing, he went on and on about how his wife tells him he's an idiot and he's sorry to "prove her right" about being such a loser when he acts "like this" (and he wasn't drunk or a fool, just innocently oversteped his bounds trying to help someone else out) anyways, i was ready for him to type 'happy wife happy life' in his next email reply. His beta-self-loathing was saddening and made me a bit hard/focused - that, that is what i will never be like again.
But he isn't alone. " After a lifetime of believing this shit..." as you wrote, he's been conditioned.

muff_marauder 6y ago
This is a refreshingly realistic and concrete way of perceiving things, one that most people wouldn't understand unless they had lost a ton of fat or gained a ton of muscle.
Odd_String 6y ago
Thank you. It's been an interesting journey.
muff_marauder 6y ago
Between sophomore and junior years of high school I went from a very fat 270 pounds to a lean, muscular 180 pounds. I looked like a ripped version of Jim Morrison.
I literally could not believe the difference in reaction by girls, it was wild. But it's true you don't have to lose that much weight. Something as little as 20-25 lbs could be the difference between agony and Heaven on Earth.
Odd_String 6y ago
It really is relative for each person, but the difficult part for a lot of people is the attitude that the existential aspects of themselves shouldn't be more important than their inner qualities. That's what I'm addressing in the post.
Atheist_Utopia 6y ago
lol how much attention did you get? Would girls actively hit on you on the streets?
[deleted] 6y ago
interesting. Former fat guy here as well and girls lose attraction if they find out I used to be fat. I think it's part of wanting a 'real' alpha vs one that isnt. Like Im masking bad genes or something.
Odd_String 6y ago
Depends on how you sell the success story, champ.
muff_marauder 6y ago
Interesting! I certainly didn't have that problem back in high school but your mileage may vary.
Some girls who brutually turned me down when I was fat actually came around and flirted with skinny-me when they saw the attention I was now getting.
RightHandWolf 6y ago
Some girls who brutually turned me down when I was fat actually came around and flirted with skinny-me when they saw the attention I was now getting.
Two dynamics going in that scenario:
First, the attention from other females is a form of social proof/preselection.
Second, women are very competitive socially, and they will show attention to a dude to screw over the other girls, even if ( and maybe especially if) they have no other interest.

I've lost 45+ lb this year and, boy, it does make a difference. Does it bother me that I got no attention before? Hell no. I'm trying to get in the pants of fit girls, and I have rejected fat girls, even some I like as friends. It's just the rules of the game. Thank the gods I found about them this year and not in 5 years. No point in crying over the spilt milk.
Pristine_Sheepherder 6y ago
What is your current weight? Would you mind sharing before / after pics? I lost 30 lb this year so far and didn't notice that much of a difference unfortunately.
Odd_String 6y ago
Nice! Thanks for commenting.
Cheddar_Curtain 6y ago
I'm 6'1" and was about 195 lbs. I've since gotten down to around 170 lbs and man I feel fucking fit like I haven't since being a teenager. I'm 38 now. Like OP said 25 lbs can be a huge difference.
Went from large shirts to medium. 36 waist pants down to 32/33. Women be like damn he is fit. I feel better generally and my blood pressure and risk of diabetes is down by quite a bit. I store a lot of fat in my hips and ass (now gone) but I can tell that my face, chest, and stomach have shrunk as well.
People don't believe me when I tell them how old I am. I've been seeing a 27 year old lady and all in all losing weight is good. Stop with the corn and porn, then profit.
phisch13 6y ago
It’s almost comical the differences. I also lost 45 lbs in the past 4 months or so. I get hit on by girls frequently, I’ve been getting double meat chipotle for free from a cashier that’s got a crush on me, I activated my dating apps to see what would happen and got 4 dates on the first week from girls who wouldn’t have even looked at me before.
What a joke, but I can’t blame them. I have no room to talk, I’m just as superficial, especially regarding weight.
Just wish I could thank my psychotic ex who told me I’d never do better than her (false) and was a hopeless pussy (unfortunately very true). Motivated me to find this sub and completely change my life.

My psycho ex said the same thing. It’s one of my biggest motivators to skyrocket my SMV.

Keep at it bro. There are still greater heights to achieve. Just as you found this high, there are still more!
comu_nacho 6y ago
I went from obese to a few kg from normal BMI (should be there around mid September/early October). Girls now stop me to talk to me at uni. Face gains are ridiculous, and I even wasn't fat in the face, had it mostly around the belly.
Radkin009 6y ago
“I’ve been getting double meat chipotle for free from a cashier that’s got a crush on me...”
Now it’s time to give her the double meat for her chipotle
RightHandWolf 6y ago
Double meat, but hold the white sauce.
dkirkpatr 6y ago
Don't have to hold the white sauce. Just have to be aware of where it is applied.
RightHandWolf 6y ago
Touché. Just keep the white sauce away from the roast beef.
Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. T shirts, coffee mugs and gift cards are available in the lobby . . . Remember to take care of your waitstaff.

It's crazy the lengths they go to. To convince themselves, you, and the world that there is nothing wrong with them and all the world's problems lie upon your shoulders
Project_Zero_Betas 6y ago
You have NO idea. This crazy girl from my past has had me arrested, incarcerated, put on probation, and deemed schizophrenic by the State all because she was worried her beta orbiters (you know, the guys who SHE chooses to hang out with) would kill themselves if she fucked me, and then teamed up with her competition to try and get me to play by her rules. It was literally "You're so ugly that if I fuck you, people will kill themselves, so you gotta go to jail." Complete and total insanity.

'Fit and skinny'
Women don't want skinny. You'll get attention if you lift weights and put on some muscle.
MaterialVirus 6y ago
Came here to say that. Dude is probably thinking he has abs because he has nothing on him. You dont have abs if you are around 6'0 and weigh 150 lbs, you're Ethiopian and basically invisible to girls.
SouloftheVoid 6y ago
Skinny is not as good as being muscular but it's still better than being fat.
H0tTamal3 6y ago
I've always been skinny. I had some extremely toned muscle from doing intense physical labor though (slight 6pack, vascular biceps, etc.) but you certainly wouldn't call me built. Most women wouldn't give me a second look. Gaining 20lbs of muscle changed that (still want to gain another 25-30).
Believe me when I say this. Most women would rather have a guy who is slightly chubby but has muscles, than a guy who is skinny. Women look at skinny guys the same way that we look at fat chicks.
420KUSHBUSH 6y ago
I was about to say "well guess we can't do much about it" then I read you saying "Gaining 20lbs of muscle changed that" so I guess I know what needs to be done. I do like being fit way more though there can be some improvements here and there
ClassyFussy 6y ago
Just stay in your lane and work on it bro. I assume you have thin bones, don't you?
H0tTamal3 6y ago
I don't understand why you're telling me to stay in my lane. My bones aren't thin though. I just have a fast metabolism. My legs are naturally pretty big and muscular. I have to work hard to keep anything on my upper body though. It takes a shitload of calories just for me to maintain the gains I do have, let alone to gain more.
The great thing about being so defined is that the gains I have made look amazing though. If I can hit my goal of 215 without increasing my bf% there won't be a pussy that I won't make wet.
MaterialVirus 6y ago
So that puts you at around 185 right now? How tall are you? I'm slaying them at 6'0 190. It doesnt take much. I guess I am on the skinny side of being an Adonis, but girls still look my way and make it easy for me.
H0tTamal3 6y ago
I'm 6' and 185. I hit 193 about a month ago but got lazy for a few weeks and didn't eat right. If I slip up my gains melt away quickly.
I probably didn't look as good as you because my legs are naturally so big. At 190 I have a slight 6 pack and good looking shoulders, but still skinny arms.

I've gained 25 kg (or 56 lbs).
It does make a difference.
reas9n 6y ago
I gained 8 kgs, had an extremely difficult year in terms of education and so I had to quit gym for a while (8 months). It really affected my looks & confidence. Now am back to fasting / hitting gym hard. Those 8kgs make such a huge difference - muscle lost in favor of fat LUL
Tutsks 6y ago
Just lift. It recovers fast.
I stopped working out due to stuff like 2 years ago. Was in a LTR etc.
Pigged out, went from 65 to 90 kg, did HIIT for a month and a half, went back down to 70, then broke up with girl, mom visited, diet went to shit, and around February, I was back at 90.
In May, I started seriously lifting again. Been what, a couple months? I have barely lost any weight (hovering around 87), but I look absolutely massive. Its insane how fast you see a difference.
Funny thing is that I look at my pics of when I weighted 65, and I look absolutely tiny.
5'9-10" if it makes a difference.
I don't even really watch my diet much (though I did cut all sugar, gluten, and most carbs, so maybe I do heh, but not too closely).
Also, creatine.
Cods_gift_to_reddit 6y ago
It never ceases to amaze me that when I do put on fat from a period of poor diet, I can lose pretty much all my belly fat in 2 days just from lifting ridiculously heavy weights and IF
reas9n 6y ago
Im 6'1" (im european, thats like 184 cm right?), was doing gym for almost half a year weighting 78kg - had really good results, girls hitting, but good looks count too in that department. Anyway, planning to slow cut back to 80, sugar is death. Getting fat also makes you FEEL fat - no bueno. And as for supliments, im actually afraid to take them, my goal is to look fit not to be a bodybuilder:p ty for the insight!
Tutsks 6y ago
Oh, I got good news, you can't accidentally become a bodybuilder. It takes a ton of food, and discipline.
Most people take creatine, all it does is make you heal a little faster, and give you a bit more stamina. Might be good for memory and a bunch of other things, its... among the most researched things in the world. Its also very cheap.
Agree, how you feel is the biggest difference.
reas9n 6y ago
Thing is, I'm afraid cos I have "good" genes - and I've even been told so by older dudes (im 19). So I put muscle on quite fast, and I didnt know back then, becoming lean is really strict diet - but thats like the best possible outcome of my dreams.
MaterialVirus 6y ago
Creatine is the shit. A step down from roids, but still worth it. It gives your muscles water weight. It makes them look a lot better. Science has your back on this one. Just try it out. If you stop taking it the water weight goes away if you dont like it. But with that being said, if you're taking creatine drink plenty of fucking water!!!

Any tips or summaries of what you did to lose the pounds? I've dropped about 10kg (\~22lbs) -- from 98kg down to 88kg -- since March thru a combo of changing my diet (lots of grilled chicken, steamed sweet potato, carrots, some eggs, but with 1-2 more relaxed days per week), counting calories to try to run a daily defecit, and hitting the gym to lift/run. But recently it's not coming off as fast as in the past 3 months. Curious what approaches you used.
Edit: thanks for the info/advice, team. Much appreciated. Legs are my weak point during the lifting - I had some lower back issues exacerbated by Squats (i'm getting close to 50) and the doc said to cut them out, and I've avoided deadlifts for the same reason (plus some rotator cuff issues in one shoulder I'm always worried about). I try to do heavier leg-press work (up to 220kg now), but it's not quite the same effort. Most of the other lifting is seated rows, bench press, free-weight shoulder stuff & biceps, triceps pull-downs, sit-ups. I've been trying to maintain a 500 calorie deficit per day, at least 5 days / week. Been trying to do predominantly interval-training on the elliptical after each sesions (fitbit says it burns \~300 calories in 25 mins, vs. 400+ for the 1hr lifting, but as noted lifting builds some muscles that continue to burn at rest). The diet-break comment was an interesting one, I'll check that out.

The more weight you lose, the harder it becomes to lose more. Remember that.
Sumsar01 6y ago
Squats and deadlifts will generally help back pain. If they aggrivate it just manipulate load and volume. No strength training it dangerous to any degree.
nadolny7 6y ago
Look squat university on Instagram, they have a lot of information on how to use different variations on each exercise taking in account your injuries

Try a diet break: https://rippedbody.com/diet-break/. There is plenty of scientific evidence about diet breaks, and if you do them properly, it will help you. You need to give your metabolism and hormones time to recover after long periods of caloric deficit.

Not that guy, but I'll help you:
-Weight is a function of calorie intake and expenditure. Cardio is very inefficient for losing weight. Lifting is very efficient. Not because lifting burns more calories than cardio, it doesn't, but because muscle tissue burns more calories while resting than any other. So lift.
-Any program works as long as you are progressively loading weight. And by any program I really mean do heavy squats at least 2 x week, and deadlifts at least 1 x. Most programs very on the other stuff tbh.
-If you want to increase the speed at which you lose weight, increase the caloric deficit. People say you can't burn weight through cardio, that's a lie. It does take hours and hours of running and watching what you eat tho.
-So, what to eat or not? There's tons of diets but what works for me: No Gluten. As much fat as you want. As much protein as you want. As few carbs as you can ingest.
That's about it. Really there's no trick. And you are really, never done.
umizumiz 6y ago
The thing about muscles burning more calories at rest pisses me off.
I am not an "eater". I don't enjoy preparing food or eating. And it's all I fucking do!!! Hahaha
Rifleshoot 6y ago
I want to reiterate what you said about the squats. Your leg muscles are the biggest in your body and getting them bigger will help you lose more weight than any other muscle group. Squats and deadlifts are the best lifts for weight loss for this reason and can’t be ignored.
MaterialVirus 6y ago
And bruh chicks love legs too! I get complimented on my butt and legs more than anything else. Dont skip leg day! I know it's not as fun to look at that pump but having nice legs will turn some heads when you wear shorts.
HBenedek38 6y ago
To be fair, squats and deads are nice, but if you end up with treetrunk legd at the end of the day, and a spindly upper body, that's no good.
Also, I have an exercise that arguably moves more musckes than squats, and works your upper body too.
Clean and push press. Easy to learn, works your quads, back, shoulders, tris, pecs, core - pretty good for beginner lifters, as long as they do it with correct form.

A solid 45 minutes of daily running is more than enough to melt fat assuming your diet is in check.

Agree that if you are trying to lose fat that lifting or HIIT is preferred. Depends if you are dad bod status (I'd recommend HIIT) or legit fat (I'd recommend cardio)
wildtimes3 6y ago
Agreed, diet needs to be good.
I’d like this to be seen, but this seems to be the appropriate place:
I’ve given this advice multiple times. One time an EX of mine was bitching about her stomach fat. She did weights and sports and 30-45 min of cardio all week long. This was the variable:
UP the low intensity cardio duration. Aim for 90 min. You don’t have to run, but it should be an exercise where you carry your full weight. Fast walk incline on a treadmill, full incline, 3.3 miles an hour. 90 minutes. Minimum.
I told her do this for cardio instead of a shorter run and you won’t be able to keep weight on. She was showing off her stomach a month later.
When I’ve seen this advice followed, it works 100% of the time.

Hey mate, you need to drop your daily caloric deficit even further as you get leaner. Experiment with cutting 100 out per day and adjust as needed. Am a former slightly overweight guy and now a competitive bodybuilder.
gixxerthouguy 6y ago
I'd be interested to hear more from you. I'm at a stage where I dropped from 104kg to 82kg (229lbs to 180lbs). I am 6' tall - went from size 38" waist to 32". I tend to hover around 80-82kg, but find it hard to lose that last bit of fat around the torso that is hiding the lower abs. Any advice would be grateful - but I suspect its probably just dropping to 1000 calories a day.

If you weight loss has slowed down, switch over to measuring yourself with tape. At some point, seeing as muscle is much denser, you will stay the same weight (or even gain weight) but still the fat will keep going away
brasilgringo 6y ago
Yeh, I've wondered about this whole "muscle is denser" thing. I believe it, I just didn't think i would have reached an equilibrium point yet where it would start to make a difference. And I don't think my arms/legs etc. are "huge" yet. What do you measure, exactly? Waist and what else?
The_Sinnermen 6y ago
Measure at the hips around the belly button, waist, line under nipple, biceps, booty, and thighs.
You don't have to follow all, follow those that interest you. And the thing with the muscle density is not 2 clear cut y=x+a where you have a clear breaking point, it all changes and varies a lot, so the only thing we know for sure is that not losing weight does not mean your body ain't changing.
Edit: some also do through armpits

At Christmas I weighted 97kg (214 lb) (and I'm 1m70 or 5'7'', so it was a lot) , and got rejected by my then crush (a flat chested 6/10 at that) so I decided to change. I discovered trp around that time. Started intermittent fasting at first 8 x 16 hrs, then to one-meal-a-day starting on March; hit a plateau at 80 kg (176 lb) from April to June; Changed to keto diet about a month ago, returned to the previous rhythm of losing 1 kg per week (abt 8 pounds per month). I also walk my dogs, so I average over 8000 steps per day doing that. I also improved my dancing skills, danced to youtube tutorials, 30 min a day the first 2 months. I also started lifting at the gym in April, 3 times per week (when I hit my plateau, I think it had something to do with my muscle gains).
My gym routine is fucked up, I can't do squats (I have to have a hip operation, am saving for that) so I can do bench, chin ups, planks, anything that doesn't bend/pass the weight through my mid section). Other people can help you with that. But I have great biceps now, LOL.
I'm at 76 kg as of last week (167 lb). I weigh myself about once a month, so the goal is the habit changes, not the weight loss. Also changed habits that made me less anxious (less tv, netflix, way less social media; no porn, no comparing myself to others, focusing on my goals, etc.), so I eat less and have less hunger overall.
Now gaming hotter girls, and even rejecting some not up to my new standards (that my beta past self would have worshiped just for noticing me). Also changed all my wardrobe and got beard and hair done at a professional barber.
brasilgringo 6y ago
Damn, dude. That's some serious discipline right there. Props to you! How old are you, if you don't mind my asking? Getting by on one meal per day is focused, for sure - I was told by my trainer to eat more regularly / smaller to keep the metabolism up? Losing 1kg week is I believe about a 500calorie deficit daily, right?
comu_nacho 6y ago
One kg of fat is 7000 kcal, so it's 1000 per day, but the exercise/walking ads to 500-600 kcal per day in average, so you're right, it's a 400-500 kcal deficit per day (in food intake). I'm an electronics engineer, but it was killing my soul. Also never in a serius relationship, slowly falling out of life, lost in the routine, stressed as fuck. till last year. now I'm studying agricultural sciences (love it, also free school here), and interacting with cute 19/20 year olds every day. They know my age, it's less of a barrier now that I'm fitter (looks overcome everything, mate).
nevetskl 6y ago
Aaayyy I'm 5' 7" and went from 197ish at Christmas to 167 as of a couple days ago. (Got as low as 162 but have been slacking a bit and gained 5 back) People have noticed.
comu_nacho 6y ago
Great! I'm aiming at \~ 155 lb, so abt 10 more pounds need to go. I bet more people notice you than the ones that have told you. What was your routine/diet?
nevetskl 6y ago
Nice! That's actually what I'm aiming for as well. And it's funny you say that because I keep getting vibes that people are noticing in a positive way, but the fat boy in me has trouble processing it. I've been overweight since I was like 12 (now 24). I had a phase about 3 years ago where I lifted HARD so I actually gained a ton of muscle but I never lost any fat so now that the fat is burning off i can really see that my efforts years ago was worth it...
I started off doing keto and stopped drinking beer and lost 15 pounds super fast then plateaued for awhile so I just switched to light exercise (body weight and dumbbell exercises along with some cardio from playing drums if that even counts) and keeping an eye on my calorie intake. I think I'm going to up the workout intensity for these last 12 pounds and be stricter with my calorie intake.
TheEgyptianConqueror 6y ago
Y'all are hilarious, I'm also 5'7" but I'm 140 and trying to get up to 150 haha. Got the opposite problem
nevetskl 6y ago
Creatine, lift like a maniac, eat like a king.
TheEgyptianConqueror 6y ago
Oh I know. I started at 128. I'm also leaner now than I was then. Bulked up to 150, then she'd 10 lb of fat. Bulking up again now. The eating enough part is always the hardest
Odd_String 6y ago
Hearing skinny guys talk about how eating enough is difficult gives me perspective. I could teach you so much.
nevetskl 6y ago
Sounds like you're doin good my man! I can easily eat 4000 calories a day when I'm lifting consistently it's ridiculous.
My good friend just started lifting though and he's insanely skinny. Found out he only ate around 1000 calories a day. He's started making high calorie shakes in the morning with coconut oil, peanut butter, mass gainer protein powder, etc.
throwlaca 6y ago
I think that you can get 70% of the girls that TRP would give you if you only gain 10 kg of muscle. That's it. If you get swole, you have to ve *very* bad at game to not fuck girls like a emperor. Its not easy, though. But as you say, the recompense is huge, and not only with girls. Your health will improve in almost every part of your body.

Fantastic and straight up motivational.

Does gaining a large amount of muscle change your brain?
The answer appears to be YES: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/24/well/move/how-weight-training-changes-the-brain.html
