I believe when the lockdown is over I think we will reopen posting links to manosphere blogs. Part of our stagnation has been limiting the voices of our manosphere bloggers - who undoubtedly have more interesting things to say than the 17 year old kid on holiday break telling us about how he touched a boob once.

I would like to suggest that only pointed members and above be given this privilege (and maybe only ECs in the beginning so everyone has an idea of what's quality content), otherwise you can expect the 17-year olds to post irrelevant blogs because "it sounded good".

I don't like this lockdown at all. I like to read stories posted by users - whether it's success stories or stories from their beta days when they used to kiss the ground girls walk on. So the sooner people can start posting again, the better.

I for one am enjoying the totalitarian lockdown. Long past due.

I’d also like to add and point out, the incel postings and remarks made in comments need to be treated with much more scrutiny.

I’m seeing “point endorsed” users making comments that are extremely “Blue Pill/Beta/Incel” defeatist mindset in nature that are getting upvoted and treated as gospel because they happen to have some kind of arbitrary endorsed flair.

It’s kind of pathetic actually, and definitely brings down the vibration and message of the sub and TRP in general.

I haven't been swallowing TRP for too long. Maybe a couple months but I think we should have a stickied thread for newcomers to talk and leave everything self contained so there isn't spam on the front page.

Thank God. After incels shut down, shit got weird on here. I found myself arguing with little sperglets about basic shit on the sidebar. I gave up helping people. Hopefully we can get back to some semblance of sanity on here and the spergs get so tired of having posts and comments removed they just give up.

It's kind of refreshing to have only quality posts here.

Please don't unlock it too soon. Let that sink in. It'll give time to those who curse you for doing that to read those reposts and then see what a quality post is.

I would like to take the time to say that reading the sidebar a couple times a day isn’t enough, INTERNALIZE It and BECOME what it entails. AWALT is real, hypergamy is real, Briffaults law is real. I by no means have the entirety of TRP internalized but I’m beginning to look at things through a red pilled lens as Rollo Tomassi says. All these summerfags (read armchair philosophers) post here with their little theories but all the “higher” thinking in the world won’t replace real world experience. Go fuck some guys girlfriend. Go talk to that 10 at the bar or gym. Go live the life you act like you live. But remember that nobody gives a fuck

I remember when this sub dove deep into theories of psychology and the evolution of the male and female dynamic.

But up until this lockdown, it has been a bunch of 16 year olds spreading profanity calling everyone 'cucks' and 'betas'.

There has been alot of confusion in the minds of newbies who don't read the sidebar, this confusion spreads and divides the community between beliefs.

If the sub stays on lockdown, I wouldn't care. It would just be nice to have it the way it was back in the day.

I guess this just shows the serious penalties that can happen when you don't 'READ THE SIDE BAR'

If I may ask, did we not used to have a minimum karma limit for posting? One of the things that has been burning my ass of late is idiots like pyBlackhat or whatever his name is posting multiple times with every post containing a link to his blog. He has something like -16 comment karma, and is routinely downvoted. My opinion, which is free and therefore worthless, is that he shouldn't be able to post here at all until he demonstrates that he has met certain criteria levels within the forum.

I, personally, will only make a post after gaining 2,000 comment karma. I do this to make sure that my thoughts are fully aligned with the forum and my writing has contained enough quality to make it worth reading. Plus, it also keeps me from filling the forum.

My suggestion would be to make the minimum karma for posting somewhat high - well above 1,500 comment karma, and make posting off limits for anyone whose Reddit account is less than six months old. That would weed out some of the more obnoxious newcomers. (I don't even know if this is possible, truthfully. I don't moderate any Reddit groups.)

Regardless what you choose, u/redpillschool, I appreciate the hard work you have put into the thankless task of moderating this forum.

I'm happy you're doing this. It's actually really refreshing to see posts from just a mod. Also nice to brush up on basics again. You should do this more. Or keep it going for like a week. Frankly, the posting is awful. I've made some bad posts myself. So I'm going to take note of these and work on making my posts as valuable in the future.

Can you post other things that don't mention woman, or the gender wars or politics?

I mean I really like those posts, but I think if TRP needs to evolve, then it should evolve into something more meta, and towards men improving themselfs.

While I like what you are doing as the post quality has taken a nose dive recently, I feel like this misses the point of reddit entirely. If the only content I wanted to see was from other blogs, I'd go to the other blogs. I like to read about opinions of other posters, even newbies who are clearly missing the ball.

The community just needs to work through the growing pains of exploding with new users, all trying to say their two cents about touching boobs. I, as with most, hate to see a wild claim with clear confirmation bias written all over it upvoted to oblivion, sending misinformation not just trickling through the community but full on flooding it. Unfortunately, fixing the issue isn't as easy as saying "that's it, no more posts!" It's akin to trying to tackle the opiod epidemic by never handing out a prescription. What do people in pain do? They go to the black market and get addicted anyways. In this case, you are going to have many rookies go elsewhere to have their discussions, depriving the community of being able to do exactly what it was made to do: provide a place for men to work together to understand the world we live in and get better.

Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit as there is still ability to comment and have discussion, but I'm willing to bet the amount of comments has gone done drastically, which is my point.

Overall, I have no problem with this, as good content is always preferred, but I have a problem with only one mod making all submissions.

Although I admire redpillschool, I don’t come here only for his opinions, nor solely to find out what he thinks it’s important to be read or not, in the same way that I don’t come here only for Rolo Tomasi, as when I want to embrace his great insights, I go to his website.

I come here to read all the community, to downvote and upvote new submissions, as basically everyone does on Reddit.

Shouldn’t mods restrict new submissions to two per day for endorsed contributors and the mods themselves? The experience would be better, in my humble opinion.

Or you can use this unknown system where if somone posts something most people dont like most people can downvote it. If they dont but only you dislike it then perhaps you should fuck off?

I appreciate this initiative, and it's very clear that the mods have awakened.

I agree that there has been some pretty meaningless content lately but part of this subreddit's beauty has been finding true red pill wisdom amidst all the noise and bad content is sometimes as affirming as good. I'm back after a break. Mostly.caused by annoyance with the sht posts that were making this place unreadable. Glad to see things are being reigned in.

Nice to see the sub finally leveling out. When posting is opened I might be inclined to write a few motivational pieces. Maybe. Last time I did the experience soured me. Not because of hate, though. Everything was "get pussy, hold frame, go lift." No one talked about building confidence. Rebuilding your broken self after realizing you've been a slave to a system that gives no fucks about you. Nothing that even hinted of motivation. So I stopped posting. No use trying to start a discussion no one cares to listen to. But with a sense of equilibrium return, I might be tempted to try again knowing the eyes on this sub are now a bit more receptive.
