I've (27) met a girl (22) a week ago at the pool. Approached there and talked for 1-2 hours. Went on a date few days ago in a bar. It was solid - strong eye contact, she began escalating on me getting touchy, getting close to me and signaling for a kiss. She took a selfie with me. After the bar she put her hand around mine while walking. Drove her back to her place and we hugged for prolly 15 mins before she got out. I decided not to eacalate (was it a mistake?) as there was no possibility for sex (she had a roommate). Got a text if I got back home. So on paper, everything is good. She was slow on text (3-5 hrs) before the date, however, she continued like that aftewards. 3 days later I propose we meet to which she says she can't that day and that we should meet later that week. To which I respond "alright" and left it that way. Got needy tonight asking that she didn't mentioned which day she's free. No response yet. Still going out with other girls, however this really bothes me. What's your take with these slow responses, does she play games or goes out with multiple people?

Sometimes girls are just slow texters. I have one plate who takes days to respond. But she still comes over to fuck once per week. It doesn't mean anything, and you shouldn't care.

All was good, if there was no possibility for sex that night then you did well not escalating things, don't warm up the oven if you're not baking any bread. You gotta lead, tell her to make some time on a specific day at a specific time, if she says no then change to the next day. As a woman, she doesn't know what the fuck she wants so make plans for her, choose what she's gonna drink when you go out, pick the song you're going to dance to, choose what she's ordering from the menu, pick the place you'll met at, order her uber, breathe for her even. Do this until she stops you because the feels like having a "personality".
EDIT: This thing is not just for women, we men are like that. Some people just have an affinity or preference to be a certain way, and some are at peace that way. There's no good or bad.
After a date or two, you can also tell her to pay the bill, to take her clothes off or even to leave if you wanna be alone. See what kind of girl she is, sometimes they just wanna do things for the man they like, and they will do it for themselves, like buying you a cologne or cooking lunch for you. Some other girls want to be told what to do. Others want to tell you what to do, others want you to cook her lunch.
