So I work with a bunch of women and we somehow started discussing steroids. I've been hitting the gym for the past 2 years and changed dramatically but anyway, I mentioned I'd give steroids a try just as a joke (I may do them in future, who knows).

One of the older women in her late 50s (she's a single mother, fairly slim with a little extra who divorced her husband and always talks negatively about him) said that '99% of women dislike muscular men' so I just acted surprised because I couldn't be bothered getting into a disagreement with her over it. One woman in her late 40s then said she prefers men with a little extra, basically a dad bod (this woman is married, possibly a little overweight and always talks highly of her current husband, and never shuts up about him... he must have imprinted her). Another woman in her early 20s who I would rate 7-8 out of 10 then shows me someone she knows personally who recently took steroids, he started training and taking steroids 1 year ago, and he's already competing in competions with an amazing body. I was amazed by his progress when she shown me and I told her I was impressed, she disagreed and said it was too much. I then shown her one of my friends who's natural but very muscular and she says he's too much also. She then proceeds to tell me that he's too skinny for her and she'd want someone bigger (assuming she means less muscle and more fat?), although this girl is tiny and skinny herself, and her boyfriend is a skinny person (she obviously didn't think that statement through before she said it....).

I'm not entirely sure why they'd even want to discuss such a topic with me regardless and influence me that muscular bodies are bad? Possibly because I hit the gym myself and have a pretty good body already after 2 years of lifting? I've noticed a massive change in my current girlfriend since I've been hitting gym so it just makes me laugh how much they lie and try to hide stuff
