This doesn't get enough discussion on TRP. How does wealth increase sexual options? The way I see it as a dude who majored in Economics its this. Money Is A Need, Women Are A Want. Money pays the rent, utilities, mortgage etc. I'm not going to lie here. I've only had sex with 1 girl back in 2016. Sex to me wasn't all that dope. Chick was a stripper but after it just seemed like it was a good ego boost and the pleasure was overhyped. Compared to having millions if not billions in the bank you can rent a private jet and fly anywhere on the globe, or in first class. You can go to concerts with dope artists. Go to high end museums. Overall it seems like money obviously just increases your standard of living. More and more each day I'm starting to feel like my primary love outside of family in life is money. What do you guys think about dollars, dinars, rupees, roubles and pound fucking sterling?

TRP is about sexual strategy.
If you are saying you care more about money, TRP is not for you.

I respectfully disagree. TRP is about self-improvement, atleast in my opinion. Sexual Strategy is only one component to me. Whats your take? Money tends to attract women too as a byproduct, although my motivation is to make money for myself, not a chick. An analogy I can give is this. Petroleum has many waste by-products including fertilizers, insecticides, soap etc. In this sense money is like petroleum, alot of benefits. Do you really value pussy that much? It just seems like an extra ego boost tbh

See the problem with disagreeing with this is that:
If you're talking about when it means FOR YOU, then sure: create your own definition.
But if you're talking about objective truth, I refer you to the mission statement on the right hand side of the main The Red Pill page on reddit:
"The Red Pill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men."
The problem with "it's just about self improvement, that's all" is that it's a huge watering down of our message. It's a watering down of what it means to be a man who fucks women. It's turning getting laid into something that's MAINSTREAM ACCEPTABLE. "No no no m'lady, I am not trying to fuck bitches, I am being the best man I can be so that I may humbly serve you".
TRP is, first and foremost, a discussion of sexual strategy. For men.
Good attitude. But money doesn't attract women. Power and status and physicality attract women. Women exploit men for money. Being rich does not get you laid, it gets you gold diggers who pretend to want to fuck you. It is not inherently attractive like trim muscles are.
I value it enough to put a chunk of effort into getting it, yes.
This is much less effort and a fuck tonne less money than a married man puts into his sexless marriage though.

please elaborate on this, I thought money was a big percentage of the pie when becoming a Chad / high-value dude. Like it came when pursuing excellence (which is one of the goals here), so I may be missing something.
mattyanon Admin 4y ago
No.
Money is for you, nothing to do with being "Chad".
Err
What do you want, money or sex?
jormigaso 4y ago
Ideally both. Watch 'Fifty Shades of Grey' for reference (I'd like to become the guy who fucks the hotties, does BDSM stuff, is very dominant, etc. In short: becoming CHAD)
What can I do to achieve it?
mattyanon Admin 4y ago
it's bullshit start to finish.
Right.
First of all: SEPARATE THESE AMBITIONS.
Do both, but they are different things.
Women: Get in great shape, lift, chat up women, get good at it. Plenty are into BDSM, the rest can be persuaded. This takes between 1 week and 1 year depending on your physical shape, opportunities, effort level, commitment, starting point.
Money: There's at least 10 major paths (rough guess). They all require you to be very good that most can't do, ideally 2-3 things. High paid job, contracting, own business, shop, etc. HIGHLY recommend you do this in something you love, because it's a hell of a lot of work for 5 years if you're incredibly lucky, 20 if not. Investments can work but it's very risky. Find something you're good at, great GREAT at it, then find a way to monetize it.

amazing advice, thank you.

Once you've lost everything, you're free to do anything. Attachment to money will cause suffering when it is lost. Suffering leads to anger. Anger leads to hate.

what are your views on money? I see it as something fundamental, a MUST have (I'm not talking about being rich but having enough to live, pay for a date, dress stylish, party, etc), and when I've been in bad situations I tend to go depressed and close myself in a room (I'm a software engineer) to try to make money to have the money to kind of cover the bills again, what should be my view? what's Chad view on money?
whytehorse2021 4y ago
I am detached from money. Granted I am at the point where I have fuck you money to throw around but it's just a means to an end. If I lost all my money tomorrow I'd be just fine and recover. In fact I lost $704 today(on paper) when the S&P 500 tanked but I just wait a few days and it bounces back and then I'm up some money or I just sell covered calls and make money while it stays down. Money is just a button I click on the computer. It goes up and it goes down.
I'm not trying to diminish the importance of money because I know what it's like to be a starving college student and relying on money to provide life but it's one thing in a vast sea of what's out there in life. Can you put a price on standing in front of Peter The Great's torture devices in the Russian museum? Or sleeping with a perfect 10 Thai ladyboy? Running the gauntlet in the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa? No, you can't. These things are priceless.

interesting point, hope to reach that level someday. A lot of work to do, and a lot more to learn. Thanks for the answer.
whytehorse2021 4y ago
I'm pretty sure that level was $3k back in 2000 and that included full room and board and tuition at the state university of St. Petersburg and all airfare and food and partying and hookers. I even got a ride from the mafia from the airport to my dorms for only like $20.
