The chances of a girl getting pregnant while menstruating heavily are extremely remote. Tell her you got a disease when you were a kid that left you sterile and you can't get a girl pregnant. If she lawyers-up, insist on a paternity test.

Day 8 of a normal cycle (light faint bleeding, 4/10 serious level) is 1.2%. Risk of pregnancy is high when it's >3%. Doesn't sound like your ONS is that far in.
