I'm not getting married, at least for now I don't want to. The redpill subreddit has confirmed many things for me that I didn't want to accept. I've consumed enough material now to know that I can't trust a woman, I just can't. I'm fine with casual sex with girls here and there until she swings around, and ridding myself of guilt of hooking up with women who are already in relationships. However my parents see things differently and so do my friends. They live in the Disney fantasy that says you will find a wife and be happily married forever and after. How do I get these people off my case, I've told my parents repeatedly that I don't want to get married and they keep shrugging it off but i'm quite serious lol

I am married. And some of the more respected red pillers are as well. The reason marriage is discouraged is because of the likelihood of the issues that will destroy a man. As is evident in the AskMRP sub. It is better to just avoid it. But if you later decide that you want to get married, you better have fully internalized the red pill teachings. It is RP on hard mode compounded by becoming a father as well.

Tell them you are aware of what happens during divorce court.
Tell them that more than half of marriages end in divorce, 70% of those divorces are initiated by women, and when women initiate no-fault divorce they still get your money and children.

Eh. My parents are the same way. I just respond with "haven't found the right one."
Anything deeper than that I don't really acknowledge, nor will I bother discussing. Then again my parents are really red, so it's only brought up as a reminder that the family name is on the line. Fwiw.

If you keep getting grilled, simply say you haven't met the right girl yet. Then, to avoid them setting you up with someone, suggest that there's a girl you're interested in.

This is the best advice. Think as you like but behave like others... Master the art of deflection.

Yea my mom grilled me about the whole marriage thing. So did my grandmother and the rest of my family. I pretty much told them that I would love to get married, but I have learned the hardway that I'm not marriage material and no girl really wants me to marry them.
Of course I don't really believe that, but I rather put all the blame on myself rather than give my family and friends the impression that I'm a bitter loser who blames women for their problems. Because that's exactly how one will come across if they preach any red pill knowledge.
Now for the most part, family has stopped asking me about it. All my married friends have stopped asking me about it. Whether they talk about me behind my back is a whole other issue.
With all that said, I'm fine just staying single. I've been through enough relationships and seen enough relationships and been around enough people to know that marriage is not worth the risk.
Even if I married the perfect girl, marriage and kids is a heavy strain on finances that I don't need.

Tell them you just haven't met the right girl yet.
If it's your mom hounding you, tell her you're looking for a girl just like the one who married dear ol' Dad, but they're hard to find. She'll be so flattered she'll STFU.
Alternately, you can tell them you've been dating a great girl and you're thinking about settling down as soon as her divorce is final and she's worked out custody issues for her three kids. That should shut them up as well.
Easy peasy!

"Nah".
Why not?
"Just cuz"
No need to justify yourself.

Just say you will when you aren't so busy with life.

"but mom how am I going to know which girl is the right one until I meet them all?"
Herdsengineers 9y ago
This right here. I say tell them this.
A stable marriage is the best way to raise kids if you want them. The problem is that it's really hard to keep a marriage in a stable place with the way the majority of women act these days. Women's entitlement and the current state of feminism and it's impact on our laws and courts have really made it so a woman can perpetrate every marital misconduct known and not be held accountable.
Why expose yourself to the risk? These days, men are literally safer if they just knock a girl up who they think would make a good mom, and pay the child support. That way, she never gets a claim to more. Still be the best dad you can, love your kid(s), etc. Maybe even let her cohabitate to assist with raising the kids, but make sure it's a state that doesn't recognize common law marriage if you're in the USA. (My state, Georgia, doesn't recognize common law marriage for example).
I say be vocal about this to everyone. And encourage your male friends that are not yet married in this regard as well. The only way it will change is when men band together and stop going along with the current model. The best way to effect change is to refuse to go along with things as they are in the biggest numbers we can get to stand with us.

I ignore them

If you are afraid of alienating them, just say that you are waiting until you find the right woman. They don't need to know that there is no right woman.
