I am currently working a job that pays a salary which enables a comfortable living (supports all my needs and with some extra to safe) but at the same time, I work close to 60-70 hours a week (I don't get over time pay) which leaves little time to do the things that TRP teaches: working out, reading, developing a hobby, socializing in real life (most of my socializing are just through texts with friends since I am usually at work day or night).

I've recently obtained an offer for a job with a salary that pays about 10% less (it will still meet all my needs and a bit extra to save) but I would be working closer to 40-45 hours a week. Logically, it seems like the right choice, although my salary would be less, I would be making much more on a "per hour" basis. I was initially quite excited for this as it would allow me to develop the other parts of my life. However, I have some friends who disagree and states that at my age, I should be going for as much money as possible and that it's normal to put in all of my time into work.

How would a TRP-er analyze this situation?

TL:DR - been offered a job with slightly less salary but much more free time; how does TRP analyze the situation?

Edit: Thanks for all the responses - It was helpful trying to see what TRP would think in this situation. On the one hand TRP really encourages improving yourself (whereas in this situation, going to a lower paying job would not be improving), at the same time, TRP also values reading, working out, socializing (which the lower paying job would allow). Its was helpful just to get more perspectives and hear everyone's considerations!
