today I learned a few things about wire transfers and alimony in my country, which is [nodox]. Short post to show you absurdity of the law and how it is discriminating against men once again.

Today I learned, that in my country if you send alimony by a wire transfer, you need to enter transfer title properly (put there a word "alimony").

If you don't, a bitch can sue you for unpaid alimony, why?

Because "you sent some money but this could be something else than alimony".

Even if the amount is proper, even if the date of the transfer is okay.

Another thing, bitch can still report you for unpaid alimony, even if you paid. Then she gets a warrant with your name on it and bailiff gets money from you, including bailiff's cost, which can be huge.

Lessons learned

  • fill "transfer title" field properly when sending alimony,
  • we're fucked.
