SUMMARY: Objectification is nothing more than recognizing and thriving with the transactional nature of our world.
BODY:
It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth.
What truth?
That you are a slave.
What specifically is this blue-pill indoctrination we fight so hard against? Very simply, it's the transactional, economic nature of our world. From advertising to sexual relationship dynamics, the world is transactional.
The recent subredditoftheday thread highlighted the key detractors' points. So let's delve into them and discuss how they relate to the transactional nature of our world.
Objectification: A typical claim against TRP is that "you objectify women" or we "treat them as sub-human". Is that true? Not at all. I objectify everybody. I recognize what each party brings to the table, I recognize how the shit-tests women present are simply an attempt to measure my fitness level. I have no problem objectifying everybody, men and women alike. I recognize the transactional nature of social dynamics, of employer-employee dynamics, of family dynamics, etc. And yet that is, in no way, mutually exclusive with concrete emotions. One can pair-bond and have loyalty and trust amongst other men. One can certain feel love, and also recognize its evolutionary advantage, with his eyes wide open as to the fact that love may have a shelf-life shorter than he desires. But such a man who objectifies and uses the transactional nature of the world to his advantage is surely manipulative, right?
Manipulative: I think what others would call manipulative, is what some call "strategy". Nobody is forcing Little Miss Slut to stay with Mr. Bad Boy if she's not getting treated as she wants. He isn't physically coercing her to make "poor choices". Or maybe she stays with him because deep down, he is treating her as she wants to some degree? We are all employing some strategy or another, and hence we are all manipulative. The nice guy has his covert contracts. The girl has her hypergamy, her make-up to hide her flaws, etc. Is it a matter of degrees? Is some level of manipulation inherently "worse" than others? Just because we bring our strategy to the surface and are conscious about it, doesn't change the fact that others are employing subconscious strategies which have literally evolved over time. You surely don't need to employ strategy or manipulation to get what you want, as there are plenty of (well, a few) relationships out there in which the parties' underlying subconscious strategies happen to mesh, but it surely increases the probability of success. Is such a "manipulative" asshole toxic?
Toxic: Toxic, if you really think about it, simply means ineffective. A toxic strategy is one which, over the long term, isn't actually best for the parties involved. It erodes the functional dynamics which non-toxic strategies exhibit. Yet if a strategy (conscious or subconscious) is effective, how can it be called toxic? Detractors would rather see things happen "organically" which simply means without any strategy. Perhaps instead of ineffective, it means immoral?
Immoral/Asshole: This was thoroughly covered by a post over a year ago on purplepill debate by /u/whisper. The gist of the concept is that bluepillers are inherently moral absolutists, in which any action or "truth" is viewed through the lens of morality first-and-foremost. It doesn't matter to them if a strategy is effective, if it's considered immoral. Whereas redpillers are inherently "factual absolutists", sticking only to what is most effective. At the end of the day, the strategy itself is amoral. It's simply information as to what is effective. The fact that it's "wrong" in the eyes of others doesn't change whether or not it's effective. It's ultimately up to the wielder of such knowledge to choose to act on the information. Well, even if it's effective, perhaps it makes the person wielding such a strategy hollow inside and unable to be happy?
Unhappy/Bitter/Angry: In the classic staple post, again by /u/whisper, regarding the five stages of grief as applied to TRP, when the band-aid is ripped off, and you start to see the transactional nature of the world, you naturally go through Denial, Bargaining, Anger, and Depression. You vehemently try to deny the truth. But once you accept and internalize the transactional nature of the world, you get to Acceptance. But not everybody in the Acceptance stage is happy. What do I mean? Well, you have a choice once you've accepted the nature of the world. There was a recent thread on the darkenlightenment subreddit discussing "The Black Pill", which is essentially someone who sees how things are, and yet doesn't like it. He wants out. This is the defeatist interpretation of Acceptance, which results in one feeling exasperated. You could argue such a man hasn't truly accepted the world, but I believe he has. Think of Cipher. A man who is unplugged from the matrix, and yet wants back in because he hates the truth. Your other choice is to be an opportunist, and learn how to thrive in the true nature of the world. Think of Neo, who finally accepts the world, and then bends it to his will, with his newfound knowledge. Such a man who sees the world how it truly is, can choose to use the rules of the game to better himself. He can even have a LTR and a child, knowing full well the risks. In fact, such a man is using his knowledge of the transactional nature of the world, I attest would minimize the risks such as hypergamy. Such a man is ultimately happy because he finds a joy and power in that choice.
LESSONS LEARNED:
-
To deny the transactional nature of the world is to deny reality.
-
Recognizing that the world is transactional doesn't imply you can't feel emotions.
-
Whether something is objectifying, manipulative, or toxic, isn't inherently "wrong".
-
I objectify women and men alike, but am happy and (in my moral relativistic view of the world) not immoral.
- To be happy, recognize and thrive in the transactional nature of the world as an opportunist.

So, extreme objectification isn't looked down upon here? Then why did my comment in asktrp get removed? I answered a girl's question but because I said she looks hot in some pics she posted and asked her if she wants to meet up and fuck, my comment got removed. Am I the only one who thinks you guys don't objectify girls enough and should be more hedonistic? There should be more "tits or GTFO" comments and less arguing with feminists.
bergkampinthesheets 10y ago
I agree with the idea that everything is transactional (assuming that by everything you mean most things). There's nothing wrong with that. The trick is of course to identify situations in which you treat someone else in their human nature. Moreover, with humans, transactions are not always deterministic. For example, the transaction can change who it favors, the "object" can change its value, and unexpected situations may arise. The thing that makes us human over mere animals is our creativity and imagination, neither of which can have objective transactional value. In that case, I can't apply economics in a straight forward way.
I agree with the benefits of awaking to the transactional nature of the world, but disagree that it is the only true perspective of life.
Unholy_VI 10y ago
I don't remember from the time I've been an adult talking with a woman for more than 5 min without her asking 'so what do you do?'
All I am to her is status and a paycheck. Seriously women do everything they accuse men of doing 100 times more.
chances_are_ur_a_fag 10y ago
I just got asked by a broad today what I did, I told her I live off of rich women. she tried putting me down by saying "you wish". I was obviously bullshitting, but I said I don't care whether she believes me or not. she says why would I tell her that then, I said because she asked and also she's not even close to being my target market anyway so I have nothing to lose by telling her. shut her right up.

[deleted] 10y ago
don't think of transactions the way you are normally thinking either. Blowjobs for doing dishes e.g.
Think more of mutual value trades. She gets comfort, emotional investment, and tingles, you get sexual access, submissive attitude (no one wants a battleaxe), etc.
The details aren't as important, remember, you cannot negotiate desire, but the transactional nature is there, just higher level than you'd think
rpthrowaway007 10y ago
The only time I trade favors like that is way before the dishes stage. They want a drag off my blunt or joint at a party and I haven't met them before? If they don't have something I want (body parts I want to touch or see,) there's no way they're getting it. However, it has ended up with many gateways for kino. Also, love teasing them like, "Oh, you're one of those free drink girls, huh? Ain't shit in life free, darlin'. Go find yourself an ass kisser." I'm sure most of you know who she chooses.
[deleted]
Future_Alpha 10y ago
If they were asking for your blunt, assuming your goal is to see a body part, do you tell them "show me ____ first"?
rpthrowaway007 10y ago
Not the first thing I say, it's something along the lines of, "it ain't free," with a laugh. It usually becomes a game and after their response, comes the, "fine, show me that little booty and i'll see if it's worth it." Always shoot high, as you can settle for a grab, and then you practically have permission to kino her the rest of the night.
This method has only been met with one shit test so far (not counting the ugly girls that had zero hope & Probably 15-20% of the desirables that scoff and walk away):
"Wow, that's so cheap--and unattractive."
I laughed, and said, "So is wanting something for nothing. If I was cheap, I'd ask for money, but you've got nothing I want." Game was back on.
Future_Alpha 10y ago
Thats real cool. I can never think of what to say lol. So i just go direct. But will memorize this and try it at first opportunity.
e4e228 10y ago
I did that once. A girl boldly asked for a drink. I said, make out with me first. She did. My crew got concerned. The bar tender told me, "It's a dude." As in all negotiations, be careful what you ask for when dealing with strangers.
Future_Alpha 10y ago
Shit man that sucks. You think it would work with a real girl?
e4e228 10y ago
It does. One reason I came up with the idea is that before this experience I had about a 1/3 success rate hitting up girls to make out as a cold approach in clubs. And then about 1/3 of those wanted to keep going. And that's me approaching them. But after this experience I don't do that anymore. It's important to size people up a little bit by talking with them first. PS. I wonder how many bathroom BJs have been from guys and the receiver had no idea.

I've done exactly that. Show me your tits and I'll think about it. Five minutes pass, tits come out. Fucked her roommate that night. 0100 the next night, I get a text, come over tonight. End up fucking her for the next three months.
KM31548 10y ago
Was wondering exactly that. Either your game must be tight, you have good looks, or she was just a slut. Whatever the case, props to you man, hoping to get to that level soon.
BluepillProfessor 10y ago
You really don't understand. All women are sluts for the right man.
vengefully_yours Senior Endorsed 10y ago
I have killer game, needed it when I was younger because I wasn't even close to attractive. She is a slut, no doubt about it. But she had a bunch of orbiting betas and omegas because she is hot. She was 22 at the time, half my age and I'm older than her dad, she is 24 now. Without game I'd never have been able to fuck her, or any of the hot girls I've fucked. Fat girls are easy.
I'm not that great looking, but my body language and confidence along with big muscles helps.
[deleted]
Future_Alpha 10y ago
Oh thats awesome. I usually want to say something like that but am afraid of social reprecussions.
The worst I've said was that a girl should suck my dick because she played me and gave me the run around and then tried being friendly like nothing happened. Never got my dick sucked. :(
vengefully_yours Senior Endorsed 10y ago
Can't say it like you're butthurt, gotta say it cocky and confident, like a dad telling his daughter to clean her room.
KM31548 10y ago
I'd imagine you'd have to be cued into special situations that would allow you to pull it off. I've always had a problem with social interaction, so I could say something and get blown off, but if someone else were to say it they would somehow pull it off.
Future_Alpha 10y ago
Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Fuck this gay earth. Time to lay down and rot.
KM31548 10y ago
We'll have plenty of time for that bud. For now let's have fun with it
[deleted] 10y ago
Back when I was a party guy I used to do it like this. "Can I get in on that?"
Give her a raised eyebrow look.
"Turn around."
If she resists a little just shrug and keep puffing. If she doesn't resist act like you are unimpressed even if she is hot.
Be magnanimous and pass her the goods, just at the moment of hand off be like "psyche!" And bring it back for another drag.
Eventually you should let them get in on it, but just fuck with them first.
Being straight up like "tits or gtfo" might work but it can also backfire.
Future_Alpha 10y ago
I see. Why do you do it in such a roundabout way? Also, how donyou transition to tits by what you are doing (yes I am a horny bastard).
BluepillProfessor 10y ago
Teasing establishes dominance.
[deleted] 10y ago
You have to establish a dynamic where you are in control and make it known you are a sexual creature and that she is something you want.
Going straight to it might get you a chance to see tits, but it is also likely to stop there. By keeping her engaged in a longer more protracted teasing session you are giving yourself a chance to build the foundation of a fuck close.
Future_Alpha 10y ago
Ah I see. So it's that you are showing her your dominance via the teasing. Thanks!
[deleted] 10y ago
It's also fun for both of you. Like a game.

Hardest part of the pill. I'm still chrwing on this. Swallowed the part on women quickly, years later working on accepting the pill for family friends and employers.
deepthrill Senior Endorsed 10y ago
Do some introspection to determine why it's so hard to swallow. Is it because you don't want it to be true? That you think it's at odds with feelings of love or loyalty? Is it because you logically don't always see it on the surface? That you fear it is at odds with being happy? Meditation can help here.
FrameWalker 10y ago
I think its because I'm not good at the game. Ive focused my energy on creating and delivering value, but don't know how to manipulate others to protect myself and get them to provide back the samr amount of value. I generally simply cut off those who leech.
For example my lifestyle draws lots of girls into my life. At bars and parties im approaching. At home lots of girls come over. I introduce these girls to my friends and roomates and put in a good word. With my wingmen who get laid regularly we always help each other and have even swapped plates. I've had a few problems with guys amoging and cockblocking though. Generally theyre guys on dry spells and i just cut them off.
My new roomate has been a pain however. He went after a plate when i first met him. I told him not to feel bad when he got rejected and told him i eas sleeping with her. Then when i dropped her two weeks later i told him that he could pursue her and he did. She dumped him when she realized i wasnt jealous after a week or two. Rather than being greatful the dude has given to amoging at every opportunity. Ive even winged for him. I want to get him to back off and shut him down but i dont know how. Its particularly irritating because hes been trying to flirt with my main girl.
Moldy_Gecko 10y ago
You talked about toxic strategy being something bad in the long run. Some would argue our strategy is bad in the long run
sassypaella 10y ago
My perspective on the first two points.
Objetification: absolutely. If I see a hot woman, I am seeing her as an object of desire. If the only thing she can bring to my life is sex, that's the only thing I will value. Just like I have 'sports friends', with whom I just meet to watch a game and have a beer. Sad that I only want to fuck your mouth? Grab a book and be interesting.
Manipulation: conscious manipulation is not amoral. It is good. Everyone manipulates all the time: the girl acting all cute to get help, the kid crying for attention and the salesman smiling for no apparent reason.
Seeing that we all manipulate, why not understanding it? I trust my moral compass no know I will not do wrong, and knowing when and how I manipulate people will help me channel that into something benign.
kamenr 10y ago
Start raising kids and you begin to understand that manipulation begins on Day One. It's ubiquitous.
Labelling such and such a behavior as "manipulative" is just an other instance of feminist PowerTalk, like "no-means-no."
disposable_pants 10y ago
Viewing all relationships as transactional ("what am I getting out of this/what am I bringing to the table") is the logical outgrowth of:
People give the advice to cut negative people from your life all the time. This is just applying that same sort of scrutiny to everyone.
DeltaRecon2552 10y ago
Great post.
Just goes to show that any interaction with another person is some type of transactional manipulation.
What do you have that I want and how can I get it?
Sir_Distic 10y ago
And if that person is a co-worker with nothing (besides being a co-worker) to offer? Do you just say "ok" and continue on working with them?
DeltaRecon2552 10y ago
Co-workers have lots to offer (in general). They can make your job more enjoyable. They can open you up to new social circles.... Etc
So yes. I would certainly try to be befriend them by default though.

Much of TRP can be boiled down to asking some simple questions, primarily: "So what?" or "What's wrong with that?"
So when people say:
...the TRP response is, "What's wrong with that?"
My favorite example, titled "Woman laments her BF of 4 years doesn't seem to want the legal marital contract. TwoXChromosomes comes up with a marvellous answer."
TwoX poster: Just ran this by my boyfriend who said - "Literally the only reason I can think of for being a dude being willing to go through a ceremony, have a family, and stay living together without a marriage is because he wants the option to cut and run with minimal hassle."
TRP poster (who deleted his replies): And what the fuck is wrong with that?
PIGamer86 10y ago
"For you, how a woman looks is more important than what's inside."
Well technically...
[deleted] 10y ago
Lol, almost as good as the girl who dumped her man, then tried to get back, once she learned he was rich.
IAM_CHAD_AMA 10y ago
that was fucking great. She was pissed he hid his wealth from her the whole relationship and after she dumped him for being lazy she found out he had like oil money or something and was set for life and that's why he didn't actually work. She then was pissed she could get back with him
FrameWalker 10y ago
She was also pissed that he fed her potato soup and all they ever did was watch pirated movies.
RedMoonAscendant 10y ago
There is a simple answer to every single one of these objections.
Before RedPill, all my relationships crashed and burned spectacularly.
After RedPill, my woman gushes over how much she loves me and how she wants to spend eternity with me.
Is it immoral? I guess. Sort of like feeding a starving person would be immoral because you're depriving them of their effort to get themselves out of starvation.
Am I angry and evil? Okay, sure. I am. But I guess that's what women want, because they respond extremely positively to it.
Am I toxic? I guess so. Because feminists sure hate the living fuck out of me.
Do I objectify women? They really love it, if so.
Am I a rapey-creep? Whatever makes you feel better about yourself, SJW ladies.
[deleted] 10y ago
This is so true. All human relationships are transactional.
Whether it's a girl receiving status/resources in exchange for sex or a man serving turkey to homeless on thanksgiving in exchange for the good feeling he gets from it, all relationships/interactions are transactional.

One time, long before TRP, I was seeing a serious feminist. She was taking a shower at my place and looked good coming out of the shower. I asked her "Do you mind if I objectify you?"
She beamed and in a mousy voice said "No."
[deleted] 10y ago
it's in their nature to be objectified, taken by force and fucked by someone more powerful. just as a fish breathes
even look at the fantasy smut books the obese ones who have given up on life read. they all want to be taken and fucked hard.
PrinceofSpades 10y ago
I often look at food when coming out of the shower. You haven't lived until you pre-emptively make a steak omelette, then eat it naked in the after-steam of your manly post-shower scented cleanliness. Mmm.... Protein.

Besides yesterday having its posts locked, I suspect that yesterday brought in a few new subscribers, who are going to be conflicted about how their existing view of morality and emotions mesh in with TRP view of the world. This post is partly my attempt to assuage that inherent conflict, to show people that you can both have your eyes open and still be happy if you want.
gives_heroin_to_kids 10y ago
And that claims of "objectification" and "dehumanization" have no more substance than a feminist saying its feelings have been hurt. Which is completely irrelevant (and hilarious) when you're focused on results. Or reality.
Seriously, how childish is it to complain that someone "doesn't see you as human?" In fact, I'm not even attracted to women. I literally see them as walking plates with silverware arms.
I invite anyone reading this to objectify me as hard as you can.
Redpillc0re 10y ago
We can all identify with Utilitarianism at some point. It has a long history. Thankfully, there are no moral absolutes, so dont let anyone call you immoral.

While we all may identify with objectivism at some point as well, (despite its incompleteness), i find this sentence completely empty:

I said something just today in a subreddit about how I'm an introvert and I really only interact with people if they possess a vag and a heartbeat.
In no way do I think "less" of women, I objectify them, or treat them poorly - yet they say that due to this comment, I do. I meant it in a comical yet informative way, but they said that if that was so, it would have been "more funny".
Seems people are always ready to judge, even if you correct them.
NeoreactionSafe 10y ago
When we say:
Men love women, women love children, children love puppies.
...it's possible to say that such thinking is "manipulative".
If a man loves a woman and wants to hold the masculine position where he holds Freedom (Frame) that keeps him distant from her Shit Tests then he has no choice but to reward and punish her.
To reward and punish is to manipulate.
We really have no option. Either we love which requires the masculine Frame and the rewards and the punishments or we fail.
There is no success on the side where a guy loses his masculinity. (goes beta)
This is funny... definition of "manipulate"
...so when a guy is "Taming the Shrew" he says:
"Yeah, she's a real handful."

submitted_5_days_ago 10y ago
Absolutely.
The sooner one realizes everything is transactional the easier he can use the knowledge to bargain better conditions for himself.
But there's a layer up game.
For instance, if I were a Grandiose Evil Man™ I would make any possible effort to hide this knowledge from most of the people, and especially I would cover it with all the morals one can think of.
That way people will be less effective in bargaining which will results in better conditions for those who know.
So beware people. If you think The Blue Pill is the way to go, don't assume you were the one who thought it. Perhaps someone implanted that idea in you. Think for yourself.
ProductivityMonster 10y ago
Use Blue Pill/morality talk to manipulate others to contribute at their own expense, but act Red Pill/selfish. Got it. For example, anyone who calls others selfish and tries to shame them into giving (to them). 2 people have tried this on me in negotiations...called them both out for being selfish. Got a sarcastic "glad you were able to catch that one".
Another good example is the "fair" trade. "I did X earlier for you so now you should do Y for me", even though Y requires much more effort than X. They hope you won't logically evaluate it in the moment and just give into your fairness propensity.

That's why we come here, to learn how to improve ourselves, so that the world will improve; One person at a time. We have quite a few Ciphers here, but in general, we have a lot more Neo's.

Awesome segues of your points.
It's all in your mentality. I have no idea if you can turn a pessimist into an optimist but once you reach acceptance you have many choices. TRP definitely isn't the only way, MGTOW is another but it all comes down to how you wield it.
Could i go out and bang tons of married girls? Hell ya, there is a casino not far from me where tons of cougars are on the prowl all night. I could have a sugar momma buying me all kinds of shit on some other dudes dime. Full well knowing it happened because of the knowledge I've gathered here. I could game and fuck some of my friends girls if i wanted to, a lot have made advances on me since TRP.
But i choose not to. Each man has his own moral compass. It's not TRP's job or the mods to thought police. The core of TRP is to teach men to make their own way in life. Make their own decisions. Be active instead of reactive. Produce instead of consume. Understand all the variables and make an educated decision on what is best for you.
Knowledge is neither good nor evil. TRP is about sharing knowledge without social restriction or backlash. The only evil manipulation i ever see is from bigots who think their world view is the supreme world view. They use power talk to control and silence those that don't hold their beliefs or opinions.
Political Correctness is tyranny with manners.
lurkingtacopiller 10y ago
Absolutely. To add to your point about each man having his own moral compass, I'd say that in addition, it isn't the man's fault if a "taken" woman decides to fuck them.
Would the vast majority of society disagree? For sure. Do I give a shit? No. It's not my responsibility to make sure a woman stays faithful to her partner, it's hers. If her man isn't doing what he's supposed to be, he deserves to be cheated on anyway, and it should benefit him in that he should realize, "You know what? I wasn't man enough, didn't lift enough, etc".
I've been cheated on, and that's what brought me here. Now? I don't date women, I fuck them and enjoy them for what they are. I got got, learned from it, and now I go out and enjoy the pleasures of the world in a carefree way that women find endearing.

To deal with the Generally Unplugged People in this world, being treated as an Object hurts their Feelings. Which is why they are so Butt hurt over it because they can't handle the truth that each and everyone of us is but a tool to this Society as a construct.
The Plugged in people prefer to not deal with it via usage of Social Media and Internet as ways to escape from the reality that they are grinding their life out day by day be it working in a corporate office or smiling to customers behind a counter.
They don't want to deal with it, nor do they have the capacity to accept the fact that this is what our place is within the society. That we aren't Special Snowflakes waiting to be discovered by some High and Mighty person to be given a Noble Righteous Cause to live by.
We aren't and we ain't for as long as we choose to be plugged in the matrix of systems fed down our throat by the society. Hence why being aware about our society's lie helps to unplug us, gives us the Red shade of lens to see and know, What We as a Person can do to survive.
The moment we choose to let go of what defined us, can we truly choose our own paths to go.
