A big part of this is women don't even know the difference between attraction and agitation. The feelings are physiologically identical, and women attach different emotional and mental labels to the feelings based on their cycle and what's going on around them at the time, and so on.

Men don't have "cycles" as our hormones are on full blast all the time. So we are familiar with the feelings. They can make us extremely uncomfortable, but we know what is happening, and we know how to resolve those feelings.

Oh, Jesus. You should avoid this for your own sake. It's probably worse in my situation, but I find that there's a lot of potential for drama in these sorts of scenarios. I had an incident where I should have gotten red flags that the guy I was flirting with was in a relationship of some kind. Super vague and nebulous about what he was looking for. Had a large house all to himself? Didn't want to park his car in the garage and asked me to park on the street.
