Summary: It’s Carnival, lets party hard! 70% are women ? OMGS FREE SEX!
Body: I consider this post a field report. Here is the TRP reality of my country and region. Your first thought would be: “Why the hell are you complaining about this? Go bang some chicks and stop being a beta!”.
Because things are not simple as that. Here in Brazil, we are on a deep economic and political crisis:
-
We have a very corrupt and populist left winged government that makes your Obama Care seems like a little baby.
-
We have one of the highest unemployment rates of our history: 12%.
-
Our taxes are one of the highest in the world. Our payrolls are one of the lowest.
-
Our economy is in recession. Our external debt raised do absurd levels.
-
Our inflation was bigger than our salaries adjustment. We are officially poorer each ear that passes.
-
The president disapproval rate is around 70%, and we can’t make an impeachemant thanks to her populists politicies, like the “Bolsa Familia” a financial help to poor people, the exact people that help ther party to stay in power.
-
The specialists already started to call the 201X the lost decade, where our country decreased every single performance indicator.
-
Health Crisis: Zika Virus is a present from Brazil to the world. Enjoy your brainless children. The govern prefers to spend money on the Olympics in order to show that everything is beautiful. It is not.
- I’m a manager with a MBA, 3 fluent languages, working on an automaker and making less than your local McDonalds Employee. Imagine my other employees ?
TLDR: We are swimming in shit , playing on the hard mode and getting fucked on every aspect of our lives.
And what the hell this is all about 70% of chics begging to be banged, walking semi-nude in the middle of streets? EVERYTHING.
We, male and with bills, responsibilities, and families to provide,(or just ourselves, by paying our studies, cars, houses, etc) we are WORKING or RESTING during the Carnival. Having no men partying hard on the streets is a big signal of a crisis that has affected first us men, the working force of this country. Don’t forget that we are not at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. We are third world. And most of our labor and profits comes from brute force, like automakers, farms, mines and other services. We have technology, but just 30% of our profits comes from it.
We, Brazilian men are paying for this crisis. While they, Brazilian women are shaking their asses , partying hard and trying to get pregnant by a “gringo” during this carnival, the free sex/drugs/fun party. The automaker that I’m working is laying off almost 1.000 workers on this Friday thanks to this Crisis, and while we men are here, saving every single penny for a darker future, our chicks are there, don’t giving a fuck about anything. But the point is that, when they realize that they won’t be able to find any beta bucks, because there are no one to bucks anything, they are fucked.
Our women, gentlemen, they don’t give a single fuck about anything. They just want to have fun, they just want to party hard in a very irresponsible way , while we men, are here preparing for the worst. Paying our debts instead of partying. Staying at home doing shit instead of traveling. Working each day more and more in order to survive, pay our taxes and try to help this shitty country and government to leave this Crisis.
I’m here, with almost 30k in educational debts thanks to my MBA, and there is a big probability that I will be fired on this Friday, or that I will have to fire one of my employees, having to sit in front of him, and saying that he won’t be able to feed his sons , or that I will have to delay his dreams thanks to unemployment.
So that’s why I beg you. Europeans, Asians and Americans. Come to Brazil, fuck our bitches, get them pregnant and take then to your countries. We don’t deserve these bitches around us.
Lesson Learned: Take your own conclusions

tolerantman 9y ago
I am also a Brazilian, our women (like most women in the world) do not give a shit about politics or the economy, they will always have some idiot to pay for their bills anyway, they are the ones responsible for electing and re-electing Dilma Rouseff, they are not only responsible for the chaos we are into, they are the ones being affected the least by it.

Funny this article came about, I'm on my way to Brazil this weekend with a few friends for Carnival. Of course we are there for the fun and women but when it comes down to it, quality of life is everything. I really wish you luck in leaving your situation and hopefully finding something better sooner than later. I'll be in Rio, any tips?
SinisterCouch 9y ago
Hey man, please update me i want to know about it so i can plan my own trip.
occupythekitchen 9y ago
I live here find carnaval blocos to go to during the day and wear sun screen. I spend 3 hours following a block in Copacabana yesterday and I'm completely sun burned. Lots of pretty girls too
massivewang 9y ago
Hit up the Sargento Pimento bloquinho the day that it is going down. There will be a ton of people, it'll be a blast.
Overall there will be a shit ton of people out on the street during carnival around copacabana, ipanema, lapa. So really you'll have your pick of what to do.
Rio during carnival has an awesome atmosphere, there's always something going on, besides the available tourist stuff (sugar loaf mountain, the Jesus statue, etc).
Buy a money belt that you can wear under your shorts, put your money and a cell phone in it. Also use AIRBNB for lodging, don't waste your time with a hostel or hotel. You'll get way more for your money that way.
occupythekitchen 9y ago
I love how you don't mention Leblon
Izzenw 9y ago
Thanks bro!
Avoid the central part of the city at all costs, its the most violent region.
Uber is working and you can't compare the quality of it with the local costs.
-If you are into prostitution, its legal in Brazil. Avoid street hookers and Ask a taxist where is a good "Boate" or " Casa Noturna". There are no strip clubs here. If you are there, you can fuck every girl. They usually charge a little bit for the ass. And avoid paying drinks to the girls, they are expensive as fuck, like 10x times the normal value.
Rio de Janeiro is a very beautiful city! Enjoy it! But be always on guard, its a violent city. Slums are beautiful just on movies.
PvRed 9y ago
You make me want to visit Brazil
Suravira 9y ago
Bro, ain't that the truth, I'm always thinking this when I watch a movie involving rio, even that animated one with the birds is trying to glorify poverty.
Specter242 9y ago
"even that animated one with the birds is trying to glorify poveryu" Are you referring to Rio and Rio 2 LMFAOOO
vPikajew 9y ago
I've played enough Favela on mw2 to know that slums are bad
Timmytanks40 9y ago
Haha favela was my shit. Roof run to the south end with the tac knife and drop in on a bitch.
But seriously I'm definitely going to carnival before my 20s are over.
CQC3 9y ago
I've played enough MW2 to know that Favela and MW2 are bad.
occupythekitchen 9y ago
Vidigal is pretty pimp for a slum. Hell Beckham has a mansion there and the view is amazing.
Redpass2122 9y ago
From what Ive heard; carnival is overrated and most times you can't get laid. Not sure if this is true
charlesbukowksi 9y ago
getting laid is overrated, you can get laid in rio and anywhere for that matter.
azkuel 9y ago
The best way to get laid in Rio is to look like a tourist and not speak portuguese. Hamstering does the rest.

Forgive me for being offtopic but what about Bahia? A lot of black American men are making the move to Brazil because black women here are too much. Any incite? I'd love to visit Bahia or anywhere in Brazil.
occupythekitchen 9y ago
Bahia is an underdeveloped state but cities like vitoria have pretty pimp areas like the Marina. Essentially go where the yachts are

It's probably because they already knocked up a half dozen and need to split.

Carnival in Salvador is fucking amazing.
Salvador has some beautiful beaches. The city is a joke, not even close compared to rio. With that said there's tons of parties/concerts going on to meet women at, though it may be challenging to navigate if you go down without help not during carnival. You really need Portuguese to get around in Salvador.
Women in the northeast tend to be more friendly/affectionate/approachable in my experience. With that said Brazilian culture is that when you meet someone on a night out and like each other you kiss. It doesn't mean you'll bang in the same night, but it lowers the barriers.
Being a gringo in Salvador gives you a lot more status than being a gringo in Rio. Gringos are everywhere in Rio, especially during carnival.
ChildOfTheLostTribes 9y ago
No gringo here. Just Haitian.

How much does prostitution cost in Brazil?
Izzenw 9y ago
you have for every taste and purse.
You can find cheap girls for 25 USDs to famous actresses and tv hosts for 1000 USDs.
I for myself, I have fucked a famous tv girl, from a tv show called "Panico na TV". She spent a whole night with me for 1250 USDs.
TheThingsIThink 9y ago
Why if you earn 30k per annum are you dropping 1250$ on a prostitute. Playa, get on plane and get a job in the USA. Shit. I don't have a single WASP male PhD in my business program. Get a PhD and take my jerb
ddiogenesofsinope 9y ago
Holy shit. Why do the TV girls prostitute themselves ?
Laconises 9y ago
$1250 for one night of (presumably) condom sex with some dirty trollop when you're "making less than your local McDonalds Employee" and have 30k in student debt?
And you're criticizing your women for their behaviour? Brah...
Izzenw 9y ago
Before the economical crisis I was making 160-200k. Exactly 3 years ago. Now you understand the severity of the crisis. And ffs I'm not complaining. I'm stating the behavior of the genders during a crisis situation.
plenkton 9y ago
You went from 180 to 30 in 3 years....that hurts, especially when the first 15-25 a person makes is spent on basic needs (house food).
So really, from 150k to 10k disposable.
The sad thing is people opting for short term gain over long term gain. Too many don't see the value in productive capital.

Is there any chance to bang Eva Andressa? or Carol Saraiva?
Timmytanks40 9y ago
Never thought I'd regret go ogling a couple Brazilian chicks. That jaw line looks like it came out of a DC justice league comic.
redditfag420 9y ago
Dude, Carol Saraiva's waist to hip ratio is GOAT, and well, Eva Andressa's booty...
Timmytanks40 9y ago
Those girls are one testosterone supplement away from growing fucking chest hair
exit_sandman 9y ago
This hit home with me.
A friend of mine once spend 4 years in Brazil working and when he got back and hosted a party where three or four of his colleagues (also from the same country as we are) attended, every single one of them, though they were still quite young at the time (early to mid 20s), was married to a Brazilian woman (unlike my pal who had better game and just plated his way through his four year-tenure in Sao Paulo. He's married to a Canadian now, go figure).
This was the first time in my life when hypergamy was so blatantly obvious that it jumped even old bluepill me right into the face.
says_harsh_things 9y ago
The difference is Brazilian women don't pretend. They will come right out and say "I am looking for a rich American man to save me". I generally do well in the tingles department with American women, but Brazilian women? They look at me as tingles AND a meal ticket and go insane.
KhazarKhaganate 9y ago
They are.
I mean you gotta realize something...
the female version: "looking for a rich beta bux to fuck and suck and live a rich life." (resources)
They don't care what kind of rich guy or who he is, as long as they're nice, rich, can keep them safe, and can provide for them.
the male version: "looking for a hot blond chick, preferrably with a pretty face, good hair, and loyal to fuck and live a quiet life." (visual)
They don't care what kind of hot blond chick or who she is, as long as they're nice, pretty, will stay loyal, and wont annoy them too much.
Biologically men and women want different things. It's evolutionary psychology.
eccentricrealist 9y ago
And do some of them save themselves for the gringos or will they not give a shit either?
says_harsh_things 9y ago
I'm not sure I can give you an accurate answer on that. The ones I've experienced never talk about any Brazilian men they are interested in. Is that due to the fact that they are committed to getting into the USA through marriage, or do they just want to downplay the fact that they are using American men? I don't know. Either way it's bad for business. Being that I'm an American man I doubt I will ever get a true answer from a Brazilian woman.
occupythekitchen 9y ago
They all have been with Brazilian men but any mildly successful Brazilian men cheats. They prefer western men because they are more domesticated. But yeah I've gotten a blow job on the street here she finished and I went to get beers got to the bar and she had taken my wallet and phone. It was fucking hilarious to me afterwards
A419a 9y ago
Fake wallet with a little cash and a cheap phone and you can come out ahead of having just paid for it.
Timmytanks40 9y ago
Yea that sounds hysterical...

NoMorePennies27 9y ago
I'm a brazillian guy too! Brazillian women are the worst, for real. Carnival here is a holiday that lasts 6 days. In this "amazing" celebration you will ser hypergamy and sexual promiscuity at its finest. Short, chubby and poor guys don't have a chance. You will hate carnival if you're a guy who believes and love and unicorns too. This holiday shows the true nature of women. I live in Salvador, the most important city of carnival. Nearly 2 million people will appreciate carnival here this year. Hell yeah boy, I'm thrilled for this shit
azkuel 9y ago
Women in times of peace get relaxed and become entitled. With so many men around, and so many options, why should they not? When a real crisis hits, their natural instincts kick in, and they go back to normal gender roles and try more actively to find mates. This is because male companionship meant safety during evolution. Happens in every crisis/war.
max_peenor 9y ago
It's also when boots start to get real shiny.
trp_angry_dwarf 9y ago
Glad you typed that so I don't have to.
Tardigrade1 9y ago
So what your saying is that the next financial crisis will bring about the death of feminism? This might actually be true!
Dark_Shroud 9y ago
Shit is going down right now because a large amount of the western populace is finally pissed off enough to care.
That's why we're seeing the third wave Fem-nazis/misandrists going crazy in the media and online. Some of them are smart enough to see the writing on the wall and others are just upset that people are telling them to fuck off now.
Dark_Shroud 9y ago
My grandmother and great aunts have a lot of comments about how foolish younger women are being. Just because so many of them do not know how to take care of themselves or feed themselves during bad times. That's not even touching on not getting themselves a husband when they should.
Meanwhile many of the guys I know would just go deer hunting if food ever got really tight. The only problem are the limited hunting permits here in Northern Illinois.
ImFeklhr 9y ago
And a reasonable retort for them would be 'society has changed such that complete dependence on the instincts/skills humans developed over thousands of years of evolution'.
Bad times, in most countries, don't equal starvation anymore.
Dark_Shroud 9y ago
FTFY
To the rest of your point you're either unaware or in denial about many social problems now.
On top of that if you can't afford to eat out you have to know how to cook for yourself. Many younger people in general do not know how to cook full meals.
Sometimes you have to know how to sew to mend clothes or end up paying even more every time you need something.
This goes even further with basic home maintenance skills.
Dravous 9y ago
if things got tight enough they'd also stop giving a shit about that as well.
Dark_Shroud 9y ago
This is pretty much my line of thinking, I used to have some friends with land up against some of the forests out here. More than a few picked off deer from their porches. So I wouldn't have needed a permit on their property. Too bad for me those guys already sold out & bailed on this state.
wolololololololo 9y ago
Damn man, I feel bad on my 70k AUD 9-5 office job. If its any difference, most of our women are enormous entitled cunts.
slay_it_forward 9y ago
The places that are the best off financially are the worst off for women.
[deleted]
dmelt253 9y ago
Is that just to Australian men? I hear they are rather nice to Americans.
trp_angry_dwarf 9y ago
It's not that different to how British women are "nice" to Aussies holidaying there.
Lots of holiday sex with no strings attached and 0 risk of getting caught cheating, getting slutshamed etc. They get their tingles and a "Schrodinger's number". Technically, it's another penis inside them, but it doesn't count to their total "number" because [insert reason here]
AWALT, remember. Fucking an "exotic" gets them imaginary slutpoints, just like reddit upvotes, so they can outperform their whore friends when they get together for bitch sessions.
But when it comes to the big discussion with their LTR, all those exotics don't count. They can still be prim and proper because those exotics are unverifiable - not like her ex who lives down the road.

Thanks for the post. I'm going to melbourne in 3 days. Tips?
killthenoise 9y ago
It is a very fun city with so much going on. This weekend is meant to be amazing weather too. Go down to St. Kilda and hit up the beach and bars. Plenty of very nice looking internationals and locals, and the clubs down there are fun (but expensive). If you're looking for more of the actual Melbourne experience, lookup popular places in Fitzroy or Richmond.
And if you are looking for a real adventure, go to Revolver on Church St late Saturday night/early Sunday (I'm talking after 3am). Lots of good memories there!

Brazilian here. There's always the classic: "I'm going to Salvador to the Carnaval with my girlfriends and there's nothing you can do" bullshit that men occasionally have to put up with, coupled with the "you're abusive and controlling" excuse if you don't want your girlfriend going there to be fucked.
Everybody here knows that if a girl even MENTIONS she likes or already went to Carnaval, then she's merely for plate at best, and in no fucking way LTR material.
Physio_Tool 9y ago
Lol, know respectable man allows himself to get in a relationship with a girl who would willingly put themselves in situations like going to Carnival. Thats when you pull a Donald and walk out on a bad deal
Jigsus 9y ago
These brainless Zika kids are a disaster. There will be millions of them and imagine the economy when millions of families have regarded children to take care of? It just might crush Brazil.
mrmeemermamer_87 9y ago
I don't know man, I'm noticing that more Brazilian women though I'd say the Colombians are the worse, are becoming more feminist-sexist delusionally asking for more rights while refusing to take responsibility for them and viewing men as disposable pawns. Yes there are some very sexy brazilians I'd love to bang but no way am I taking her back to the states so she can get her greencard then divorce my ass. If it's one thing South American women and Eastern European are notorious for these types of things, especially Colombians. They're like Puerto Rican women, except much much smarter.
Syberr 9y ago
Yeah, tell me about it. I'm a medical doctor who works crazy hours and am making less than 20k USD/year. This still leaves me above 80% of the population in terms of earnings.
Too bad I have children, wife and have to care for my elders or else I'd have abandoned ship already.
TheMGhandi 9y ago
The world will reward good men, like yourself, with injustice. It's only a matter of time.
ITS_JUST_A_WANK_BRO 9y ago
Can you also post this same thing word-for-word to the DarkEnlightenment subreddit? They would be interested.
If you dont mind me asking, how much do you earn per day in $? I might be able to get you remote work or something. I had no idea MBAs were paid so little out there.
Izzenw 9y ago
I'm Making 40k USD year. And that is an astronomic good salary here. When I got my bachelor in IT, I started with 6k USD a year. You really can't compare salary here with usd dolars, because out of nowhere our currency got extremely devalued.
Its a protectionism policy, because Brazilian industry is composed of base products like Minerals, Soy, Sugar, Meat and so on. They are exported to other countries, so you have more dollars entering than leaving. Most people here can't buy an Iphone with 1 year of salary, not because they are extremely poor, but because there is a hidden protectionism politic going around .
spurdosparade 9y ago
That's a very, very good salary. I come from a family of 4 people who lived with 5k USD year. Government call us "middle class", lol.
Syberr 9y ago
Just for context 40k USD/year for a lone guy is within the richest 2% of the country.
Source: https://www.nexojornal.com.br/interativo/2016/01/11/O-seu-sal%C3%A1rio-diante-da-realidade-brasileira
Reddthrown 9y ago
It is indeed astronomic by Brazilian standards. To put things in perspective, USD1,000/month will get you a huge flat in the best parts of Rio. A huge pizza on the main (expensive) beach in Rio will cost about USD 10.
mrdobie 9y ago
I actually wanted to export some iPhones to Brazil but couldn't find buyers
TheYambag 9y ago
Dude, come to America... seriously, if you're not white it's very VERY easy for you to get in. You will be fucked at first (companies take advantage of the 5 year time limit that you need to stay here, you'll make peanuts during that time, but as soon as you have citizenship, you'll be able to make 6 figures)
Also, racial relations are not bad for anyone unless you are Latino in the Mexican boarder states or black. Generally speaking, no one else seems to really have any significant problems with each other.
If you move to the North East, you will find that the world is still ripe for the taking.
egoisenemy 9y ago
what do you think would be the solution to your country's issues?
plenkton 9y ago
Civilization is built upon delaying consumption (instead investment in production), which is impossible when people are in crisis.
Who is to say that 10Million wont die to starvation/civil unrest this year?
Rommel0502 9y ago
The same answer as anywhere. Limit the government, stop inflating the currency, encourage value add businesses, and stop paying people to do nothing.
[deleted]
egoisenemy 9y ago
well I meant it more as specific cultural issues that I may be ignorant about such as the weird specific state of brazilian politics, different from the rest of the world etc. But I agree with your points.
eccentricrealist 9y ago
The problem with countries like Mexico and Brazil is that there's so much crime and the government collaborates to the point that there's not much incentive to produce unless you're in a sort of "protected" class. For example, upper middle class business owners used to be bothered a lot about eight to five years back, at the height of the insecurity, but everybody was closing up shop. Now at least the government's trying to control that a little. There's also a mentality of not doing shit today, but doing it later/tomorrow that's very pervasive in Latin America. People also tend to do the bare minimum and complain when things aren't better. Everything's fucked, basically.
rakov 9y ago
More I read about it, more it feels like Brazil is just like Russia. We don't have crime on the streets though, but any big business is always owned by someone who knows friend of a friend of a relative of Putin.

People delay work because pay (after taxes) is not enough.
And instead of wealth creation, people are pre-occupied stealing....and protecting their own....instead.
ender1944 9y ago
u sound generally well informed but this is a contentious point even within right leaning libertarian economists, so don't repeat this like you have any idea what you're talking about.

Rommel0502 9y ago
No it doesnt, which is why you should shut the fuck up and listen.
TheYambag 9y ago
Not the original guy, but it's widely accepted that a small rate of inflation (say 1%-3%) is healthy for an economy because it promotes investment instead of hoarding.
Rommel0502 9y ago
Agreed, but the rate our money supply increases is far in excess what what is typically required to achieve that goal.
[deleted]
Tardigrade1 9y ago
Have you looked into cryptocurrency to store value?
[deleted]
Rommel0502 9y ago
No, because although the supply can be more easily controlled, it still can be nothing other than a fiat currency at its core.
Tardigrade1 9y ago
Arguably true. Except when it isn't.
For now you might want to look into pegged cryptocurrencies. NuBits is 1:1 pegged to the usd for example.
Choose your pick of what you think is a safe way to store value. The concept of value is arbitrary anyway so you need to make up your own mind.

Welcome to the end result of every liberal government / socialist movement in history.
Economics is like physics, there are laws and you can't bend them. Austrian economics is like the red pill of economics. On the fringe, hated and heavily disparaged, but here and enjoying the decline.
And damn, I should vacation in Brazil.

TriangleChoke86 9y ago
Brazil sounds exactly like Canada, except for the women of course.
Magnum256 9y ago
Sounds really bad but people struggle with finance in most countries including America. Your "average" American isn't wealthy, they can't afford to travel regularly (if ever) and are typically stuck at whatever dead end job they find themselves in struggling to make car and mortgage payments if they aren't still renting. Cost of living continues to go up but wages are stagnant for most. It's getting to the point where you're financially successful being able to pay all your bills without falling further and further into debt each year and will only continue to get worse, globally, as time goes on.
gonorealover 9y ago
fuck man... I can literally see your frustration by reading that. This is really scaring me . What is going to happen to our world ?

Note about the unemployment:
1 - government is the one who makes the stats, so not thrustworty at all. They lie their asses off when it comes to inflation (which is at absurds 10+% on the "official" data already.
2 - The official math to calculate unemployment is ridiculous. If the person is on welfare, doesn't count as unemployed (50 million out of 200 million total population are on it IIRC). If the person has GIVEN UP on finding a job, doesn't count as unemployed. If the person is almost dying starving to death making 200 reais (70 USD) a month just to have rice to eat selling scrap metal or whatever, doesn't count as unemployed.
I am newly graduated lawyer. I was making a pathetic 1750 reais ( ~600USD) last year. In a city where my rent in a shitty bedroom and bathroom apartment cost me 900 reais.
Now I am unemployed for 2 months and can't find a fucking job. I got ONE interview out of literally hundreds of résumés I sent. In a firm where.there was 30 women and 1 man. I was interviewed along with 2 women. I didn't get the job.
This country is a joke.
almostaristotle 9y ago
The conclusion you have drawn from this story is really some high level critical analyses bro.
That women just wana party and fuck around while men are too tensed up for anything at the prospect of an uncertain economic future.
But at the same time i remember brazil have massive pro capitalist free market reform rallies too some months back. What happened then?
Oh and btw I suggest you take to blogging all these experiences out, there's good passive income to be made with ads, affiliate and what not, I see you got the writing skills. They will only improve.
PanisHakkinenTakagi 9y ago
This is almost exactly what is happening in Finland. Benefits and salaries are getting cut, universities are getting budget cuts and they have to fire a lot of staff (this might actually be a good thing), we need to save on every aspect of the society because we are "the sick man of Europe". Well, not every aspect. The tap is open for the refugees, there's no limit on how much money we will pour into them - conservative estimates put that figure somewhere between 1,5 and 2 billion a year, so it's likely way more than that.
The official unemployment is about 10%, but in reality it's somewhere between 20-30%. Youth unemployment is Greece/Spain-tier. We have people with one or even two Master's Degrees who can speak Finnish, English, Swedish and at least one of German/French/Russian/Spanish, who still can't find a job.
Meanwhile, the women are partying like always, protesting against the budget cuts to their women's studies shit, holding "Refugees Welcome!" and #WeHaveADream demonstrations and God knows what else. Of course, many of them ARE working, because our government is currently pumping more and more money to the public sector and it's women who are hired as social workers, paper pushers and "caretakers" for the poor refugees.
Anyway, thanks for the tip, I will probably have to visit Brazil this year or the next.

I didn't know the situation was so bad in Finland. I was there as an exchange student during last year and I got the impression there were many opportunities job wise (for Finnish speakers ofc ;) )

WalterEArmstrong 9y ago
I'm sorry to hear that's happening to the Finnish people. I know the Finns are a very creative people and, judging by they way they've handled things with Russia over the decades, a very courageous people as well.

It's a good thing Brazilian women are all manly bodybuilders that are intolerable. Gross.
TheeRyanGrey 9y ago
put men of country in financial crisis
import cheap foreign labor
this also increases racial tensions
government wins. this is literally the formula for the modern world.
VodkaTankerSpill 9y ago
Oh yeah, how many of those invaders will actually be put to work, especially since most of them font even bother learning language or integrating.
TheeRyanGrey 9y ago
It doesn't matter. Don't you get it.
The cheap labor is secondary to the social warfare it causes.
You guys spend zero time trying to fix the government and all your time hating women and foreigners and blacks
This is how white men are defeated, appeal to their racial disdain and continuously feed them targets for their rage
trp_angry_dwarf 9y ago
well shit... Where are Brazilians gonna get cheap labor from? Aren't they the cheap labor in the Americas?
TheeRyanGrey 9y ago
The situation I described is for first world countries.
Brazil is filled with insanely fuckable women but they're second world I believe
yaysmr 9y ago
Good formula for an armed, angry upheaval as well.
Wonder what contingency plans the government has in place for when the men get pissed enough to actually do something?
It is literally insane to me that we see these government willfully throwing their citizens, who they ostensibly are elected to represent, under the bus for people from outside who don't actually care for the country and it's history.
There is no good way out of the situation, that much must be accepted.
harkrank 9y ago
And the same people will finance the armed upheaval and reap interest on the repayment. As soon as the scale tips all the elites will say they always supported the new national socialism. And the subjects will always be the suckers.
ITranscendRaceHombre 9y ago
That seed was planted over 40 years ago when feminism started making men into pussies. Consider your average man. He is perhaps the most unremarkable specimen you could ever come across. He's unambitious. He's lazy. He's overweight. He has been castrated and his masculinity has been systematically destroyed. He is not a leader. He is not strong physically or mentally. He is not brave or courageous. For fuck's sake, the motherfucker is afraid of approaching an average looking woman, to fulfill his strongest biological motivation, and we think he's going to risk his life standing up against a gynocentric ideology he's been conditioned to support since day one? I'm afraid not, friend.
xetaoinshrdlu 9y ago
And that's the way the world wants men. Men are dangerous. Testosterone is aggressive, ambitious, it wants change, to overthrow things. This is a happy government. Why do you think government supports things like conflict resolution over just punching the bully in the face, which really is a very short and effective resolution to an age-old conflict?

I feel like if I were in Europe I'd be down with a far right nationalist movement.
Participate in some street brawls against Muslims and leftists... Wear a defacto uniform... Maybe brown or black t-shirts... Maybe try and stage a half baked coup out of a beer hall...
Sounds pretty sweet actually.
vengefully_yours 9y ago
National Socialism for the 2000's eh? Have a pusch in a beer haus, go to jail and come back out a national hero... For about 8 years.
Archange_ 9y ago
Police forces and the judicial apparatus in most of Europe are more focused on keeping patriotic movements in line not in controlling refugees. It will not change any time soon.

Lol at men getting angry enough to do anything other than self destruct anymore.
They emasculated us all. Well complain online and the poor will steal shit and break stuff.
The end.
yaysmr 9y ago
That holds true until it doesn't.
The emasculated men won't fight... but they can't fight BACK either. It only takes a few men who are willing to fight to completely run them over.
TheeRyanGrey 9y ago
The foreign men they import will run them over.
They'll fight. Look at Muslims in Europe. They have no problem instilling their culture.

A person can be doing well personally without being oblivious to the hardships endured by their countrymen. Economic decline doesn't hit everyone equally.

I never said that Finland would reach third world status anytime soon.

Haha, reaching third world status, please, get real. You count your countryman to be poor for not having money to go to Brasil? How about this, here, more than 90% of people haven't been ever in foreign country. You guys really have no clue how it is like to be poor.
PanisHakkinenTakagi 9y ago
I never said that Finland would reach third world status anytime soon.
nebojssha 9y ago
It will never reach that status. Economic crisis is not only prerequisite for that. Being pummeled with corruption, foreign forces getting all your politicians, land, natural resources, completely corrupted media, isolation from rest of the world... Now, that is part of the recipe, and list is too long, you guys would have to work really hard to achieve those
PanisHakkinenTakagi 9y ago

And you can't do shit about it.

My bro, you c took the works right out of my mouth on this whole read, and I'm American never seen Brazil before. It's like this everywhere, many parts of United States, Tokyo, Western Europe, South Korea, South Africa, and certain parts of Australia. Were man are the soul of the economy and women party their lifes away. Not all women are at these events and some men are, but the majority; men work while girls party. The percentage is different everywhere with different events. I'm from new england and in the summer the have a 3 day weekend at the football stadium County Fest. You wouldn't believe the amount of girls their.. Happens at many edm fests in Miami and Vegas and for what I've been reading on TRP for the last 2 years, it's happening around the world.
Seems like the only good thing at carnival over the other places is the girls actually fuck.

Yeah, I have a lot of Brazilians as clients in my estate planning practice. I get some folks who balk and talk about how great Brazil is but my clients know better. They are moving as many resources as they can into America, even getting into annuities which so many people hate because they hate guaranteed returns and protection of principal.
I keep toying with starting a corporation for Brazilians to become shareholders in, taking their investments and actually investing in enterprises with. There are people who do this already but they are big time folks who charge incredible fees for their services so many folks don't opt to do it and if you are affordable the folks are wary of you and would rather get fucked and destroyed than take a chance like the good little plebes so many people are.
If you are a man of means or intelligence, Brazil is a bad bet for you right now. Foreign investments and an escape plan is in order. If you have a family, you are fucked.
My biggest estate planning clients that are foreigners are British, Brazilian, Iranian, and Indian. If you get a lawyer to handle your Trusts, make sure they have a bond as a Trustee that covers fraud and intentional torts, and get one that is actually doing something other than hiring financial planners and charging you a fee.

What I got from all this...

brujon 9y ago
Also from Brazil, and i'm also suffering from the crisis. I graduated law school from a respectable college, got my attorney's license, but law firms aren't hiring - even for entry-level paper-pushing positions where i'd make a tiny bit more than at McDonald's, and yes, i've applied for them because i need a job. Still no dice.
It's a hard situation out here. Only people employed by the public sector aren't being affected as much, which is what i'm currently aiming at since if things continue to go sour, i want as much job security as i can possibly get. Private sector is a no go for me, then.
As to how that pertains to women and Red Pill in general... I fail to see how. As you, yourself say, there are plenty, plenty of fish in the sea. Despite being broke and basically unemployed, i still find no problems in getting bitches with the tiny bit of cash i can get from whatever.
In some cases, i think we're more fortunate than those who live in other countries because our women are pretty sexual and pretty explicit in their sexuality, which makes our jobs as men to get them in the sack very much easier.
They want to shoot themselves in the foot and party when they should be getting ready for a coming even bigger crisis? Let them. When time comes, if they're not ready for the market, if they don't have jobs, they'll have to go crawling back to their parents, or find a man to foot their bills, or fight an uphill battle to make up for lost time. Either way, i don't care. It doesn't really affect me.
Do i feel angry at the fact that i know women, personally, who amidst all this crisis, are riding on their beta bucks and travelling all over this country and the world? Yes, i do feel angry at the fact that it's much easier being a broke girl than it is being a broke guy, to the point that if you're a good looking chick, it's nearly impossible to even feel what it's like to be really broke, as you'll always have guys more than willing to shower you with all that's good that life has to offer.
However, feeling angry at that fact of life and biology isn't doing me any favors. Country is broke, politically going to shit, outlook is grim and dark, but, i'm young, and my parents got through the 80's which were probably shittier than what we're going through right now. I can also get quality lays despite being broke, which means when i start earning more money, quality is only ever going to increase, and it'll get even easier than it is right now.
It all really depends on how you look at things, and how you deal with them. You can focus on the good or the bad, you can focus on the fixable or the unfixable. You can look on the macro scale or on the individual scale. Focus on the good, the fixable and individual scale, and you'll find you have almost all the tools to improve, and almost none of the reasons to be feeling shitty.
antedaeguemon 9y ago
Fellow Brazilian here. I work on IT, specifically software development, and we actually have a shortage of talent, coming up from a few years now. The demand is quite high and the market is desperate for developers. The salaries are getting better each year.
So, if there's a field you can bet won't suffer as much from the crisis, it's IT. And you don't even need a degree to land a job, pretty much everything you need to know is available online.
TheBigZerg 9y ago
That is not true at all. Stop spreading lies.
Average salary for a software developer is around R$ 2000 (US$ 500) per month (R$ 24k / US$ 6k per year), which is BELOW the poverty line (estimated to be around R$ 3200 per month by DIEESE).
Companies ask for a lot of qualifications, college degrees, X years of experience in 10 different programming languages and specific frameworks, fluent English (which very few people in Brazil have). At the interview all the bullshit questions: "What is your favorite color? If you were an animal, which one would you be?" that say nothing about the competence of the candidate. But those female HR ladies know nothing of technology, they evaluate you on your "confidence", "posture", etc (similar to a dinner date). So if you match the laundry list of qualifications, X years of experience in 10 different very specific programming languages and frameworks, and the HR ladies don't disregard you because you made the wrong facial expression when you shouldn't or because your favorite color is different from theirs, congratulations, here is on your job offer: US$ 500 per month, below poverty line.
In my city, Campinas-SP (where there are a lot of IT companies), a bus driver or a gatekeeper makes more money than a software developer. Hell, the guy that cuts the grass in my house yard makes more money than IT professionals here (except those in management).
There's no shortage of programmers and software developers in Brazil. If there was a shortage, then salaries would be a lot higher.
What happens here is that:
1) Companies are asking for Senior experience
2) Willing to pay this person what a burger flipper would make
3) HR screening and candidate weeding is totally flawed, these people have no idea what they are hiring for
Only exception is if you are a manager (even a bottom-low level one), or at least a team leader, that way you will make more money and may be able to make more than poverty line. Brazilian IT companies overvalue managers and devalue the technical professionals who do the actual work.
There are a handful of companies that are an exception to this, but as I said, they are the exception, not the rule.
Another exception: in the city of São Paulo salaries are somewhat higher than in other parts of the country, but cost of life is also higher.
brujon 9y ago
IT is great because some times you don't even need to be in the same geographical location as your client in order to practice your craft, which opens up a much bigger market in which to sell your talents. It's great.
I tried programming out, for a while, in my spare time, as a hobby, and while i get the gist of things, at this point in my life, with a degree, with my license to practice law, investing a whole lot of time(and money for certificates) in order to get actually good enough to market it as a talent, doesn't really seem like the best use of my time. Especially since i already wasted 5 years of my life getting my degree in the first place... At 26 years old, and a 3 year old son, it's not really an option for me right now to change my focus.
All i can really do is bite the bullet and focus heavily on the public sector, where i can stand to make a comfortable living, while having enough time to pursue basically anything else i want in the spare time. Getting there will be tough, but nothing is really ever easy in life anyway.
brunomarini13 9y ago
Hey dude, brazilian here as well. So I'm going to college next year (will try the Federal in Porto Alegre), and I'm not sure if I choose law or economics, what do you think is the one with the highest prospects for this crysis?
103342 9y ago
I'm not the same guy, but I'm also brazillian and am facing the crisis.
I'm not going to point out which field to follow, I'm just going to tell you this: In both of these fields is very important to have influence, to know people in power.
If you have family member that can get you in high positions, through influence, you should follow that field.
I know it doesn't sound like a good tip, and you still have to be good at your area and all. But influence trumps everything, especially in Brazil.
brunomarini13 9y ago
Well I do have an uncle that owns a condos management company, but nothing else.
brujon 9y ago
Neither has very good prospects in a crisis. Law is very oversaturated here in Brazil in most cities, so your best bet as a lawyer is going to be to try your luck in the public sector(as i will), or go to to smaller cities on the countryside, where there's sometimes a lack of talent (but also less prospects of making big bucks). There's also academy, i suppose, if you want to spend an extra 2~8 years on an MBA, masters & doctorate and want to teach.
Economists are always to blame in a crisis, and the places that normally require that kind of talent are usually amongst the first to fire en masse. Of course, if you're really talented, you can stand to make BIG BUCKS with a crisis, buying low and selling high, but that requires money first, so, a bit harder to get into if you're just starting out. There's always academy as well.
If i had a time machine, i'd have gone towards Med School, as i wanted at some point.
The best for a crisis would be something a bit more tech oriented. Maybe IT, maybe comp. science, maybe Engineering or Chemistry. Basically, something industry related. That way, you're not bound to Brazil specifically, as you are with Law. Economics is a bit better in this regard, as what you study here is generally more or less what you study abroad, at least the core disciplines are the same, so you're more well-equipped to find jobs elsewhere if you want to jump ship and abandon Brazil.
brunomarini13 9y ago
Thanks, I shall try economics then, focusing on languages so I can get the hell out of this shitty country
scamper_22 9y ago
And this sadly is the biggest thing we need to let go of. Judging by your last sentence, I think you have. They're not your women. It's not your country. You're holding onto a 'social deal' that no longer exists. As are many of us, even in other countries.
Skimp as much as you can on your taxes, live for yourself, and see where the world goes.

From what I know is going on we are entering the Global Economic Collapse.
It will take roughly 18 months (best experts seem to suggest) before it hits rock bottom, but this bubble is far worse. (notice the eight year spacing)
1992 - Personal savings were at their highest in America.
2000 - Huge losses due to stock market bubble.
2008 - Huge losses due to housing bubble as well as stock bubble.
Best Advice
Cash is king.
Avoid all debt because it will not go away even when your job might.
Keep in mind that this is ultimately part of the Blue Pill of globalization that seeks to erase all personal wealth, erase culture, erase family and replace everything with emotionally indoctrinated beta slaves who will be forced to their knees in order to survive. This is a kind of "global colonialism" where all countries (except maybe Russia, China) are subjects of the Western economic system.
Surprisingly Russia is actually doing well as far as debt. And oil is actually only 14% of their governments income, so despite the Western media that tries to make Putin look bad (and it's getting absurd lately) the Russian situation is not that bad.
As far as women...
The man who has cash in the coming era will do well.
Debt must be avoided. Student loans must be avoided. Housing debt must be avoided. Stocks must be sold now.
TheYellowPill 9y ago
Great post with one exception. If cash is king, gold is god. People don't realize that the dollar is a fiat currency. It is not backed by anything other than confidence.
Because we live in a debt based monetary system (total debt is much greater than the money supply M0, M1). So if the total debt doesn't expand year over year, you end up getting deflation or even hyper deflation. Everyone is grabbing cash to pay off debts, but their isn't enough money supply because someone else has to take on more debt for you to pay back yours.
That's why the Federal Reserve has been doing Quantitative Easing (aka print fake money). There are two scenarios: hyper deflation or hyper inflation. It depends entirely on what the Fed will do. It's my opinion they will print money because that's the easy route. And history shows they have no discipline. All they do is print.
Therefore, you should have 15% of your total savings in gold/silver as a safety net when we go into hyper-inflation when the Feds start printing money to get out of hyper-deflation. When will this occur? That's the trillion dollar question. Don't get caught with your pants down holding only bonds / cash. In a hyper-inflationary scenario, having debts, stocks, and mortgage beats holding cash. Hedge against both scenarios of inflation or deflation.
Don't get it twisted gold and silver are gods in the monetary system. That's why chumps hold cash, but central banks hold gold. Any central bank can destroy their currency by printing a bunch or in this day in age, adding a couple 1's and 0's to a bank account. I'm of the firm belief that we will go into hyper-inflation due to the Feds. Most of my assets are based on that assumption, but you can only bet on hyper-inflation if you don't have any debt or at least have the cash to pay off your debt instantly. Otherwise, the Feds can squeeze you out of your positions by extending the deflationary period causing you to sell your assets at a loss to pay for debts.
1) Avoid debt / repay your debts
2) 15% gold and silver
3) Cash for 1 years living expenses (more if you want to buy if prices collapse before the Fed prints)
4) Gun / food / water
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
Hyper deflation can happen suddenly in a bubble collapse scenario.
Hyper inflation takes some time to develop so you can see it coming well in advance.

This is terrible advice and honestly I hope he gets downvoted into oblivion for advocating such crap.
Cash actually depreciates in value because of inflation, which is why interest rates are created as incentives to save money. Investments appreciate in value over the long term. Invest in 401ks like a normal person, diversify, and put in mutual funds.
Also bullshit. Create job security so your job will not just "go away". One of the basic tenants of finance is to "let your debt work for you". You student loan was borrowed at 4% interest. Your 401k mutual fund from your company grows at an avg of 8% plus the free money they give you to incentivize investing. Means you net 4%. You lose out on free money when you try to eliminate your debt in favor of investing.
Time is literally money as interest rates compound. The only way to make your money grow faster is to invest more (make more money), have a higher growth rate (the aforementioned mutual fund rate), or to have a longer period of time to grow the money. The earlier you invest the more you make. Not to mention stocks are at a huge low right now.
"Be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful"
-Warren Buffet
In other words:
"Buy when others are selling, sell when others are buying"
That is of course if you have the money.
As a financial advisor I can tell you his advice is the worst fucking advice I've ever seen and statistically contradicts all tenants of finance.
History has 0 correlation with a future prediction of the stock market. His 8 year evidence of collapse is total hearsay and is not a predictor of future markets. This is classic "chaotic" thinking.

My Russian friend tells me that the situation there is dire. For everyone, even most of the civil service.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
The drop in revenues from oil is hurting many of the oil rich nations.
The Russian government has reserves, but they will run out.
Unlike in America the Russians must use cash and not credit, so they get these huge waves when things go up and down.

idgaf- 9y ago
They will likely use the next crisis to ban cash altogether.
You never know when holding cash if your government will issue a sudden devaluation.
All paper financial assets are gambling positions now. Real assets are king.
Rommel0502 9y ago
The fact of the matter is the govt HATES cash. Cash means Big Brother isnt watching/taxing everything, and there is nothing a liberal govt loves more than control.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
But what are real assets... Gold?
Real Estaste is overpriced... cannot be in that.
Stocks are overpriced.
Commondities are dropping in price.
It's deflation that is the plan, not inflation.
People with debt will lose whatever they have and those with cash will pick those assets up for pennies on the dollar.
Bizkitgto 9y ago
You really need to watch Ray Dalio's video The Economic Machine, it's not too long (30 min) and is very well done.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
"Don't Have Debt Rise Faster Than Income."
With $20 Trillion in debt in the US government and all signs point to economic activity falling globally there is no "Beautiful Deleveraging" this time.
ambrazura 9y ago
I've been worried reading your post, that you might forget to praise Putin.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
Putin knows what's going on. Unlike the Western beta mindset the Russians have a better comprehension of the global oligarchs and what they are up to.
If you watch that Russian tv / youtube show they expose everything.
ambrazura 9y ago
That makes you beta by definition.
I just don't want to insult you by doubting your intellectual and analytical abilities, in areas that lay outside of game with women.
Rommel0502 9y ago
Avoiding debt is not a great idea. The only lever this nation will have left to push is the printing press. (Get ready for Quantitative Easing XXI....). When that happens, and it will, dollar denominated savings will get crushed, while paying back dollar denominated loans will be cheaper.
Remember, the US govt is the biggest debtor in the world, even taking out the economic "benefits" they claim from debasing the currency, they have a huge conflict of interest to do so because they owe so much. Way better to pay back loans in cheaper dollars ...
[deleted] 9y ago
Are you sure now isn't a good time to get debt? Aren't interest rates lower than ever?
Rommel0502 9y ago
I think taking on debt right now for certain tangible assets is probably a wise move.
[deleted] 9y ago
I agree, I just can't afford the only assets I think are viable. :(
Bizkitgto 9y ago
Yup, and parts of Europe are in negative interest rate territory....how low can you go?
[deleted]
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
No, from what I've heard it will be deflation not inflation.
They are preparing the "harvest" which is to crash the economy then pick up everything really cheap because people can't pay their debts.
Don't have debt.
Rommel0502 9y ago
The government wants anything but deflation, and because they completely control the money supply they can completely dictate what we get.
We're getting inflation. The govt has huge debts they will not be able to pay with currently valued dollars. Further, inflation and hyperinflation is a very common sickness with crashing economies. Its a way for the govt to tax savers without calling it a tax.
Dunno, but Id rather be paying back loans with dollars that are worth half of what they were when I took the loan ...
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
There's something called the "Velocity of Money" that has to do with how fast money gets moved around in the system:
http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Velocity-Of-Money-M21.jpg
...the problem is that they have already pumped $20 Trillion into the system, but it's not increasing the velocity of money.
Corporate Buybacks are making it seem like people want to own stocks... but that's largely over too.
Rommel0502 9y ago
I know the velocity of money theory, but Im not a buyer of it.
IMO velocity of money only effects prices in the short term. In the long term, inflation is purely a result of increasing the money supply at a rate faster than GDP is increasing.
I went to Columbia for my MBA. When I was there, a former member of the Fed Board of Governors was teaching my money and banking class. I actually asked this very question out loud to him in class when he was talking about inflation rates. For the first and only time all year, he hemmed and hawed without a real answer, and actually turned red faced. In short, the question I asked was never answered and addressed again, and my guess its because he knew damn well what the real answer was.
That said, awesome class, and very smart guy.
NeoreactionSafe 9y ago
In the long term we are all dead.
In the short term I expect the "harvest" of the debt ridden by those with cash.
Wait 18 months and see where we are then afterwards adjust your philosophy if I got it right.
I predicted the next bubble to pop right around now back in 2009 when I was studying what was happening... so my perspective is very deeply set.
Oh, and wars will increase now too... WWIII.

Every Brazilian woman I've known (I'm from South Florida so I know quite a few ) is trying to lock down an American to take them away from brazil. Every single one.
Of course, being that I live in the destination and not the source there's going to be a lot of confirmation bias, but still.
[deleted]
Arbitrage84 9y ago
also from Florida, can confirm. Ask any brazilian woman if they have a hot cousin and they'll set you up with the hottest woman you've ever seen who will literally do anything to marry you and move to Florida.
says_harsh_things 9y ago
Eh, Brazilians have a lot of butterfaces imo. Some are hot but it's not all wine and roses.

Carnival = Girls Gone Wild in Brazil and the Caribbean. Like Spring Break and Mardis Gras in the USA and Ibiza in Europe. If you want to see RP play out in real life, go to one of these events and observe the women in action, uninhibited and in their natural hypergamous habitat.
dr_warlock 9y ago
Women on vacation unleash their true nature because they are unhindered by reputation of their social circles. The best sex and easiest lay of my life was vacation pussy. I knew it would be easy because she drove alone to a hotel because she was 'spontaneous'. I would post a field report, but it's too dox risky.
Archange_ 9y ago
Ibiza has been overrated for nearly a decade. It has largely turned into a ripoff for men: you must pay all sorts of fees to enter the cool spots with pretty women only to find out that these pretty women are on payroll to make you drink.

I remember reading a while ago about the behaviour of women during the economic collapse of Yugoslavia in the 90s. Whilst everyone else was scrounging and saving, the young women were spending MORE on beauty products to make themselves look as sexy as possible and spending more time going out to try and get a rich husband in the desperate times.

I believe it. As a woman in those places your best "protection" was a high SMV man. My ex, a native Ukranian who immigrated to the US, once told me that a Russian woman would go without food to have the best clothes (designer shit). I understood the appeal was to look better than other women and to catch a big fish.

We are sold, and have generally bought, a similar lie about France after they surrendered in the second world war. Immediately after the capitulation, women were slutting it up with the occupying nazi soldiers while french men rotted in pow camps.
Of course, we only ever hear about how desperate the situation was for the occupied french citizenry. That's revisionist history for you.
TheYambag 9y ago
That reminds me of the scene from Band Of Brothers, where the girls who slept with Nazi's were often killed, maimed, or dragged into the street for public humiliation after liberation. Nowadays most people see it as how terrible the men were, instead of seeing it as "Hey these girls were literally helping the people who were invading the nation."
chirar 9y ago
Same happened in the Netherlands, nazi-sympathists became social outcasts. Some women's hair was shaved etc, IIRC.
akaipill 9y ago
The Band of Brothers scene was actually in the Netherlands.
One of the American soldiers asked what happened to the male Nazi collabators while the women were paraded down the streets, the Dutchman simply said "They were shot."
ShitlerParty 9y ago
Pussy pass. The male collaborators were shot, the women were just shamed. They should have been shot, too.

slay_it_forward 9y ago
Yes, that's a good rule of thumb. The more safe / prosperous the more awful the women.

I'd stay the fuck out of Brazil regardless. You're practically begging to be mugged and/or murdered if you go there.
says_harsh_things 9y ago
Just realize that they are serious about trying to lock you down. You need to be on the ball with birth control and any information that could allow them to find you and claim you got them pregnant later (even if you didnt). They're not bored housewives. This kind of stuff is their ticket out of a third world country.
McLarenX 9y ago
And be willing to pretend you want "true love" while being able to protect yourself against her white knight orbiters when shit goes sour. Seriously, Brazilian men are fucking violent. Playing with fire is NOT worth getting stomped out in the street.
satanicpriest13 9y ago
When you're in a foreign country in holiday, go with fake name/ identity, fuck bitches, and get out. There's barely any ways to track down a man who doesn't live there.
eccentricrealist 9y ago
Especially third-world countries or countries with turmoil, you go away, you'll only be on that girl's mind but nobody's going to give a shit.
Timmytanks40 9y ago
Jesus christ guys. You can't pump a bitch then leave her. Get her sister too.
satanicpriest13 9y ago
Also countries that are traditionally conservative and premarital pregnancy is frowned upon. places like India and other Asian countries. The girl would worry more about getting rid of the parasite than finding you or crying rape.
fuck_da_haes 9y ago
Even if she does, is there anything legally speaking she can do?
satanicpriest13 9y ago
I'm yet to hear about a successful international child support rape. No idea how it would be carried out and what government would have jurisdiction.
Personal opinion, most governments are busy cucking their own citizens and won't bother with foreigners. Governments in third world countries have bigger problems that pandering to whores.

mrdobie 9y ago
Hey man I wish u the best of luck. Hopefully your luck gets better.
ppdthrowawai 9y ago
Ehhh... On the one hand brazil definitely has a lot of problems. On the other hand I have a hard time seeing how this has anything to do with women. The government is extremely corrupt and has been for a long time now. Fucked up policy and sweeping problems under the rug has been catching up to them with no solution in sight.
The women, compared to their western counterparts, are far sexier, far more appreciative, less entitled, shit test less, and are generally just pleasant and happy to be around despite the country being fucked up. It's also interesting to know that the men have a reputation for being posessive, jealous, and hypergamous branch swingers. In this aspect, count your blessings because some stuck up girls from the US living down there instead of someone chill with all the problems down there would only make things worse.
Izzenw 9y ago
TLDR:
ppdthrowawai 9y ago
You're mad because women are going to an internationally known festival you won't be attending. As I said, it is a huge stretch to link this to the current economic climate in brazil.
Why blame a practically nonfunctional government when you can blame ambiguous boogey-sluts?
Moldy_Gecko 9y ago
You're having a hard time following. His post is about showing AWALT, has nothing to do with Carnival or the economy except to show that even during a shit economy, AWALT.
Izzenw 9y ago
I can attend. I have Money to attend. I don't know if you have read, but I'm a manager on a multinational company with a HUGE salary for Brazilian Standards. But I'm not dumb. I volunteered to work during the holiday and I'm saving money for the worst.
I will be earning money instead of partying hard during a financial and economic crisis. Do you really think that I'm mad?
BRENDORVEGAS 9y ago
No, I would assume as a local you have "been there, done that" in reference to Carnival.
ppdthrowawai 9y ago
I do think you're mad but it's not the point.
Your country is fucked up and there are plenty of very obvious reasons why. Do you have any evidence that links carnival to economic problems or is it pure speculation?
Izzenw 9y ago
I'm not blaming carnival for the political and economical problem. I'm pointing that 70% of the people attending to it are females. That is a symptom of the problem. Because most men are unemployed or extremelly worried saving pennies for a future unemployment or to pay debts while females don't give a fuck and are partying hard or trying to get a better future with a BB gringo.
zopiro 9y ago
How much do you make, exactly?
Izzenw 9y ago
40k year withou the 13 salary and the end of the year bonuses. It can reach 60-65k on a good year when my company profits a lot. What is not happening lately. I'm single and with 30 years. I'm the computer assisted engineering manager of an automaker.
DexterousRichard 9y ago
Try to save in dollars if you can...
HumbleEngineer 9y ago
Sorry dude but somethings are not adding up. You were making 160~200k a year and you have a 30k debt in education... Most MBAs cost around 20k (and an expensive one) and on your salary you should have conditions to pay it month by month, like the usual here in Brazil. We don't take loans like in USA (to cut it short Brazil has credit modalities where you don't pay interest, however credit interest is through the roof here, usually 250~400% yearly for credit card, this is pretty much given here). I know that because I'm Brazilian too and I've done a specialization that is similar to a MBA but for engineering. I'm sincerely not following.
Most of your post is on point though, lots of bitches partying and wanting to fuck a "gringo" (that's a slang for someone from another country, for my fellow English speakers of the RP). However we all know that gringos just come here to fuck and dump (and they are correct! For their own sake they are correct), however for the country this will be always shitty. The gringos coming here won't help shit. You are angry about the government, be my guest, although I'm tending left I understand and agree with lots and lots of criticism to the current government. But to say something like that is just a rant, and a bad one, you achieve nothing with it.
Anyway for the gringos, come to Brazil, fuck bitches because they are easy, almost too easy, specially during carnival (usually you just need to look like an outsider and speak in English), but please use a condom.
Izzenw 9y ago
I'm doing the Internacional MBA module at Fgv. When I started it it was 60k usd when our real was 2,50. I divided it in 24 payments. I was pretty dumb not to imagine that we would have this huge crisis. And the problem is that the international modules have other costs with food? Books, acommdations and so on. Yeah. Blame me for contracting a dolarized debt. The one and only.
Editing: when the government stoped charging the IPI the automakers had a boom of sellings. On the year of 2013 I got 14 salaries as my participation of profits and results
HumbleEngineer 9y ago
If you really have this qualification you shouldn't be worried. A good administrator will find jobs everywhere, and if not, will be able to create his own business. I'd use the indemnity to finish paying the module (in case you really get fired, which is a real possibility, the market is not really good on the area you work on). Hold tight.
El_Diablito 9y ago
For those of you thinking about going to Brazil or pretty much any Caribbean or Central/South American country looking for pussy I just want to remind you to keep your wits about you and don't fall for the traps.
Yeah, there are a lot of women who want to marry a foreigner and move the fuck away but there are also women who are running a long con. They get guys hooked and might even marry him and have a kid or two but all the while still supporting their man back home with the bux's money. Then after they get their citizenship or at least the paperwork in the process they rob the bux and send for their man.
I know two dumbasses who fell for it. One was vacationing in the Dominican Republic and the other in Colombia. The girls they met were "sweet" local chicas who didn't act like whores or girls trying to hustle tourists. Just waitresses/students with a good heart in a bad environment which white knights just can't resist.
StoicCrane 9y ago
How'd you advise going about slaying booty in other countries then?
El_Diablito 9y ago
It's just like we talk about here, hold your frame and don't fall for oneitis and remember AWALT (especially once they get comfortable outside of the shitty situation they've come from).
It's not easy though because you could find yourself looking at a 19 year old woman who looks like a little like Jessica Alba with a perfectly tone, tan and firm body with a tight pussy who acts like she will live to comfort and serve you.
It'll be good for a while but a lot of time it's just part of the game and they play up to the fantasy men in developed nations have about their own women being too bossy, etc... and women in "traditional" backgrounds being more subservient, etc...
[deleted]
El_Diablito 9y ago

I guess it depends upon your background. I grew up in a Latin somewhat machismo background and was influenced heavily by my Marine Corp uncle who is a man's man throwback kind of character. I remember when I was a kid he saw me watching a National Geographic show of wolves and he pointed out the pack leader and said, "Do you see that wolf. The first and strongest? That's who you should always be."
Its a shame there aren't more people like him out there helping influence younger generations.

I'm the second of his kids though and I love the hell out of that man but have modeled myself more opposite of him than after him.
I'm glad that I had my uncle around but I'm also glad I didn't follow him in every way. He didn't know how to balance his strength and he became an angry alcoholic loner but that could also be from his post war PTSD.

Brazilian here as well. Im not on the hating carnival bandwagon even though I dont like it myself. People need to have some fun otherwise they will go crazy. I also live in a turist city so we need people coming here to expent, moreso now with the massive lay offs.
25russianbear25 9y ago
Carnivals and entertainment is GREAT its fun and relaxing... but its for upper/middle class men and any class women. The lower class men are working 50-60 hours a week so they literally have no time to party and have lots of sex. This is not limited to Brasil.
Linrraba 9y ago
That's not true at all here. Every single town has its own carnival and they come in all prices.
25russianbear25 9y ago
I am willing to bet a lot of money you havnt worked 60 hours and have a family.
harkrank 9y ago
Why the hell would you be in carnival if you have a family?
Linrraba 9y ago
There's a thing called carnival block parties. People close their street and throw a party in there for everybody in the neighborhood.
25russianbear25 9y ago
I know. There are free parties. Free ("free"?) parties with food and alcohol. When you work over time and have family you literally dont have time to worry about partying.
iSnORtcHuNkz69 9y ago
Nothing too in depth but today I worked for a very nice Portuguese old man. From Portugal. Wise man. Anyways in short he says to fuck Brazilian girls but do not ever get involved with them at any other level than dick in the pussy. For obvious reasons since the girls there get fucked around 11 years old so all they know is to get tossed around. Not very good house pets, If you get what I mean. ..
Another example is my very good friend comes out of federal jail after 6 years. .. two months passes by and he finds an easy Brazilian. Fucks her everyday for the next week until she goes back to Brazil. Long story short, he convinced her to come back To the states to marry him. .. AND SHE HAS A 2 YEAR OLD BABY BOY. .. yeah beta as fuck. Of course I slapped him the first time he said he wants to marry her. .. anyways a year went by already and this bitch barely Fucks him. Always argues and fight so she doesn't have to fuck. Hasn't worked a day in her life. Terrible at staying at home since she"doesn't want to find a job because of the baby"(there's a fuckin daycare across the street.)
Stick your dick in Brazilian girls but never fall past the first level of their seduction.

Brazil unemployment rate is not 12%. It's been steadily falling from 13% for more than a decade now to 6.9%:
http://i.imgur.com/MZ5TrdQ.png
Some of your other "facts" are questionable too.
zopiro 9y ago
You're both wrong. Unemployment is rising, but it's not at 12% yet. Estimates point to an increase to 10% during 2016, but right now it's just under 9, at 8.7%.

"DATA: IBGE"
I ask to any Brazilian on this subreddit. Do you trust more institutions ruled by the corrupt government such as IBGE or Data provided by the private initiative, such as FGV and FIESP ?
You are looking exactly on where our govern want you to look. On false data. You will be looking on the marvelous Carnival full of happy people and beautiful women. You will be looking at the beautiful villa at the Olympics. You my friend, you are being fooled.
putin_vor 9y ago
Ah, we got ourselves a conspiracy theorist.
Izzenw 9y ago
I enroll an MBA at the FGV, The most respectable institution of the whole south america. It would be the South American Harvard. IBGE is a government institution ruled by corrupts. The data provided by such institutions are fake. They were investigated by the American Government and got their stocks fucked up by being charged and guilty.
We are not speaking about Conspiracy, we are talking about Credibility.

What about going during the non-Carnival season? Is it just as wild? I'm debating on going to Brazil in September this year.
Izzenw 9y ago
The Carnival is the most emblematic period of the year. September is off season. Its not as wild. But you can find sexual tourism all the time. Specially at the northeast region. I would recommend the professional services. Brazilian escorts are the best in the world. We have a saying of a famous politician. "Brazil is the only place in the world where prostitutes reach real orgasms"
RedSugarPill 9y ago

I'm thinking of opening a business like those Russian Brides. "Marry a Brazilian Hottie" we guarantee the first 6 months of fidelity and recommend not exposing the product to a richer gringo!
PantsonFire1234 9y ago
Man I would totally jump on that train and invest. Obviously I'd want to sample the 'product'. And I think you need to include a bio of "sexual do's and dont's" + Topless//Booty pictures of all women for sale. Basically combining the escort marketplace with the excitic wife marketplace.
Brazilians economy will boom and the rest of the world would get thong bikini wearing women. The entire planet wins.

Izzenw 9y ago
I don't think you guys got it, but pussy is the least of our problems, when you are living an economic and social crisis.
You don't care about pussy, you care about having a good job, having a stable career, having a good future for your sons. Pussy is something secondary and abundant in south america. Women are very sexual and promiscuous here.
Wrap your dick with a 50 usd dollar bill and you will see the how many women will try to bang you. You can even choose!

Cuck seems to be the new buzzword but in this case I don't think it applies. Clinging to "your women" doesn't make sense when they are a bunch of ungrateful bitches that don't deserve the time of day. In a way trying to keep foreigners from knocking up your women and ditching them is an advanced form of captain save-a-ho. Admiral whorerescue, maybe.
donkey_democrat 9y ago
They could be the worst people on the planet, but they are the only ones with most similar genetics as you, hence they are your women. If they get fucked by some other people, then you won't have any women to breed with, and your people will die out.
Hoodtrackathlete 9y ago
If you feel some sort of loyalty to your people, I guess? That just seems like a losing battle if you think even somewhat long term, barring a mass invasion I don't think a bunch party sluts taking a few differently colored dicks is something to lose sleep over. Besides, Brazilians have to be one of the most genetically mixed people on earth.

Are you unattached? Degree holders shoukd still be welcomed in the US.

We are graduating twice as many degree holders in STEM as we have jobs to fill. Plus companies here are bringing in foreign workers to save money.
That will be coming to an end after this year, unless Trump can be stopped (which is looking less likely).

you gotta understand that the US is one of the hardest migrant distination to get into "the legal way", i was fortunate enough to win a green card via the diversity lottery, but Before that I almost lost hope, since its almost impossible to get even a visit visa to the US. and of course this only applies to third world countries

My wife is an legal immigrant and dislikes, and I mean really intensely dislikes illegal immigrants. It cost her a lot of money and time and effort to get here, and nobody ever gave her anything. And she's Hispanic, so it's a double dose as it bothers her that nobody even realizes she's Hispanic, as she's not Amerindian. I guess you could say that she doesn't like Mexicans with 2nd grade educations being the only representation of her people.
tylerbronze 9y ago
Yeh exactly!
The way I look at it, the reason illegal immigrants, or even asylum seekers get it easy is the fact that they put the immigration law on the spot! once you'r in, you'r IN, and its not that easy to deport them, and alot of options available to have a good case (lawyers, humanitarian organizations, the UN) and its all easy to acceas by any immigrant and visitors who overstay their visa's and decide "hey! do i really need to go back"

It's also the reason my uncle fucking hates the arabs moving into Europe. He studied hard until he got a master's, went from Mexico to Grenoble, started grinding until he could get to Paris, married a South Korean girl, all this shit took around five years until he could get a citizenship, and he says he has to see these fuckers come here and get it for free? Fuck that.

I doubt it. I'm from mumbai, India. I have a bachelor's in computer engineering and been working in network security for a year now.
Everyone is of the opinion that the only way of getting to US is through a master's program there, all other methods would have a 10% chance of success.

Moldova ranks even higher in unemployment, but people just find work in other countries and build cottages at home country, or buy apartments(construction companies allow payments in parts without accrual, when you are not buying from banks).

There was a war 1991 - 1995, started by crazy nationalists and fostered by the US. The war was bloody, vicious and created a bunch of insignificant states while destroying almost all assets created after WW2. This undoubtedly helped the US vulture capitalists grab cheap assets and US politicians gain a lot of leverage over the region.
I am doing freelance writing over the Internet, which is giving me a lot of mobility and independence, since there is bound to be another war quite soon (there is one about every 40 years). I am a Christian, but I am living in a country with Muslim majority.
We have our own state within the country, but we have daily news about Muslims trying to destroy our sovereignty to make us "citizens". Some of these things were already pushed through, such as banning our anthem and our two-headed eagle crest, simply in order to destroy all Christian heritage in B&H. I want you to understand what it means to ban an anthem of a people Muslims aren't even living with on the grounds it is offensive. What's so offensive about it? The lyrics of the anthem mention "God of justice" and the Muslims said that it was discriminatory because "it didn't mention their God" (meaning Allah by name). Also, the latest news was that the Muslims tried to ban our Christian holiday, January 9, on the basis that it is discriminatory as well.
These Muslims are perhaps the most moderate in the world and yet they push for domination as soon as they become a simple numeric majority. Make no mistakes, the same thing will happen in all other countries around the globe (Germany and its immigrant crisis comes to mind).
All of our national institutions are controlled by the US, with foreign judges and attorneys deciding who will be prosecuted and what laws will be set. No Muslim decapitators from the war have been prosecuted; Christian army cooks and every single policeman are under investigation. Our national police (think FBI) has its name in English rather in our native language, which tells you everything you need to know. It's hellish but you won't hear about it in the news since it doesn't fit the agenda of "Muslim = good".
The current job market in B&H is fairly tribal, meaning you need a connection to do any work whatsoever, which repulses me to no end. Even then, the most basic jobs might require a degree or two. For example, one of my friends I went to high school with told me he works at a bakery making bread. I asked him what degree did he earn. He said, two degrees, one in chemistry and another in food preparation. Two degrees to bake bread?! How far can a man progress in that career?
Moldy_Gecko 9y ago
Be careful and take what /u/sgtbrutalisk says with a skepticism. There is 2 sides to every story. Before the war, the Christian Serbs were the main power and there was a smaller Muslim population. The Serbs attempted Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing of any non-serbs, but mainly the Muslims. In a rare occurrence, the UN decided to intervene (UN is a lot more than just US and can be vetoed by Russia/China/UK/France). It was a combined International effort. I don't think a single US force was in that country if I recall. It was 100% UN. And the mission was Peacekeeping. Of course, did some greedy fucks probably swoop into a war-torn country like they always do, probably. But to say it was propagated and fostered by the US is bullshit. And I can tell by the way this guy talks that he might still have a problem with Muslims after his people tried to wipe them out ~20 yrs ago. I was a Freshmen as this shit was ending and it was interesting to discuss.
I just did a quick refresher on it and there is a lot more to that country. It has a very interesting history.
SgtBrutalisk 9y ago
I am not going to argue with you. Instead, I will note that your comment lacks one thing - primary sources, which I happen to have and will provide to you for your own discernment. I should also mention that you have to be extremely careful when using Wikipedia, as it's edited by people who don't know about the nuances of the situation nor do they particularly care. Wikipedia is good for extracting raw data, but that's about it.
But first, allow me to marvel at the good job the US propaganda machine did with the movies such as The Peacemaker or even a season of "24" which had Serbs as the main antagonists wanting to blow up the US. Even fucking Angelina Jolie made a movie about the '91 war. Serbs are the bad guys in everything, except in real life. Let's start from the top.
The census of 1991 listed the population of B&H as 4.3 million, among which 43% were Boshniaks (Muslims) and Serbs were 31%. Therefore, you are wrong from the start and the Muslims were and still are the majority in B&H. How does a minority go about ethnically cleansing a majority?
The war of '91 started when four Muslim criminals led by Ramiz Delalic Celo attacked the Serb wedding ceremony and killed one of the groomsmen. His crime? He was wielding the Serb flag and singing Serb songs. You can jerk off to Game of Thrones Red Wedding; in B&H the Red Wedding actually happened. Note that the first blood was shed and it was the blood of innocent unarmed Serbs. After that, the bloody war started. The above link also contains the video interview done with Ramiz in which he bluntly states, yeah I shot them.
Later on, this same Ramiz will be honored by the leader of Bosnian Muslims and given an engraved gun and promoted into the general of the Muslim army during the war. Ramiz was arrested several times after the war ended and there were attempts to put him on trial for the blatant admitted murder, but he was always quickly released and would be killed in 2007 in a mafia shootout.
The leader of the Muslims, Alija Izetbegovic, also wrote "The Islamic Declaration", which stated that no peace and coexistence is possible between the Muslims and other religions ("nema mira ni koegzistencije između “islamske vjere” i neislamskih društvenih i političkih institucija").
This statement was introduced slyly, by first blaming the perceived poverty and misery of the Muslims on the lack of faith and then mentioning that it just so happens the Quran has a set of rules for the faithful ones. And then you come to the idea that there is no peaceful coexistence and the implications are clear - if you want abundance and bliss, you must exterminate everyone else.
This same declaration landed him in trouble with the communist authorities in the pre-war Yugoslavia and he was sentenced to 13 years in jail for "trying to build an Islamic state". Now take a look at the apologetic Wikipedia article about the declaration, which all but says "guys, it's not what it seems, he didn't really mean it, it was just called Islamic".
The son of Alija Izetbegovic, Bakir, is currently a very strong political leader of Muslims in B&H and he is being pushed as the successor of his father exactly because he has the same ideas.
Though Muslims were apparently immune to prosecution, the Serbs took all the blame for starting the war and attempting to commit genocide. Srebrenica is one such attempt to paint Serbs as the initiators of genocide. The definition of genocide is very complex and thorough:
(a) Killing members of the group; (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group
B&H would later try to sue Serbia for genocide in Srebrenica, the first such case in history. The court would find that there was a genocide as defined under articles (a) and (b) but Serbia wasn't at fault, except that it didn't prevent it. So basically, the Muslims were killed and had mental and bodily harm inflicted on them during the war which they started. Now note the Wikipedia article about the case, which plainly states "The ICJ held that the Srebrenica massacre was a genocide" and then notes under that "falling within Article II (a) and (b)". As I said, people writing these articles don't really care about nuances.
Also, for it to be considered an actual genocide, there must be official orders to enforce each of these five measures. Without the official orders, there is no genocide. There were no such orders given by the Serbs or the Serb state. I want you to understand the depth of the hypnosis and the power of propaganda: in the Muslim part of B&H, it is forbidden by law to deny there was a genocide, yet there wasn't and nothing could be proven in front of the international court or the ICTY in Hague.
There are many examples where Serbs got much stricter jail sentences in the ICTY while the Croat and Muslim generals were quickly released (skim through this list and note Serb sentences), but the most egregious example was that of imprisonment of Vojislav Seselj, a loud-mouthed politician, who spent 10 years in the Hague prison while the prosecution prepared the case against him and was then released without an indictment or sentence. This is a huge legal precedent, but it's not the only one.
The ICTY introduced several novel concepts into law, such as the idea of "joint criminal enterprise", which meant a person can be tried for something someone else "under that person's influence" did. This precedent was introduced into international law by using the cases against the Serbs. Why? Because some Serbs didn't do any crimes and this was the only way to sentence them.
When asked about if she had an indictment ready for the Croat war president, Franjo Tudjman, the ICTY prosecuter at the time Carla del Ponte said that she did. Why wasn't he indicted? Because powerful political influences protected both the Croats and the Muslims during and after the war.
There is much more to this topic, but the point is that today you have links to terror attacks coming from the Muslim part of the B&H, not the Serb part. If Serbs were truly such vicious animals to kill without cause and discrimination, they would be killing to this day. Instead, the ones who do such killing are the radicalized Muslims, not the Serbs.

I wasn't planning on arguing with you. Your response is great. That is why I said be skeptical and not "He's lying". You're from the area, you will definitely have a lot more resources and experience. Were you alive or of able age during the war? While I did look at wikipedia, it only really gave me an insight to your history. I don't usually only use wikipedia as a reference because it's so easily dismissable, thus I did research more than just wikipedia when replying. I also used google to try and figure out the "biggest war criminal" that was on the media during that time, melosevic (spelling?) and noticed you didn't mention him at all? Is that bias or is there some reason he isn't a criminal? Normally, I don't site sources, especially in redpill because I forget the link rules and honestly use RP during my lunch break. Could you address why the UN seems to think it's mainly the Serbs? The mass murder of 8000 people? The deportation of a huge ethnic group?
Just personal history of my experience/knowledge, but I was around and in my teens during the war, it was constantly on the news and discussed in my world affairs class. I'm also from an area that has a LOT of Bosnian refugees. I didn't realize until I was older that the new and media may distort things and that my knowledge may not be what I thought it was on the subject. I'm just really curious why the UN agreed on my recollection of it and why Serbs were made to be the bad guys if they weren't.

Source? I'm seeing 6.8% from World Bank.
Which explains why unemployment is falling, almost 50% lower than 10 years ago? National debt increasing is just part of capitalism, part of the system that we've chosen by chasing our own interests.
Welcome to the 21^st century. That's what it's like in many countries. If you think you've got it bad, look at other Latin American countries, you've actually got it a whole lot better than them. On that note:
Your tax system is exactly as I would expect for a country run by the rich- high at the low end, but then it doesn't increase. I was curious about this, so I did the maths, using the IRS as a source for US taxation, HMRC for UK, and Deloitte as a source for Brazil.
I calculated the tax that would be paid for someone earning a salary of US$20,000 50,000 and 100,000 if they earned it in the UK, US and BR.
I've also done a graph, since I don't feel like studying right now.
I think we can agree that Portugal and Brazil have similar cultures. When I was last in Portugal, around Carnival 2014, the unemployment rate was around 15%- twice what it is in Brazil, and people still partied. Men continued living their lives, despite the country belonging to Germany.
The reason that women are partying and men are working is because the system is fucked, but it's not limited to your country. The current liberal movement worldwide is fucking people over, but that's not news. Economy is a zero sum game- every man's gain is another man's loss.
No offence, but please put sources for any statistics you quote- sensationalism is a pretty bad way of making a point.
troghin2 9y ago
You forgot about corruption.
This is the shit that is fucking us up. This huge amount of taxes should make us similar to the US, society-wise.
But still, there's huge economic contrasts, a REALLY shitty public healthcare (I've studied nursing, eventually dropped it but got to see in person what the healthcare is all about) and tons of stuff.
It isn't sensationalism, it's really this bad.
ISODAK 9y ago
Economics are definitely not zero sum.
If I invent a tool or process which allows something to be produced twice as efficiently (uses half the raw materials, or labor as before), then it's a win across the board. The increased efficiency will be felt in lower prices to consumers, higher pay to workers, and more profits for owners/investors.
There's more to it than that, but that's the basic principle. The market is always finding better ways to do things, because it's rewarding to all involved.
Politics is zero sum: take from someone and give it to someone else. Actually, more negative sum, as it punishes productivity and rewards laziness, upsetting the natural economic incentives.
Izzenw 9y ago
12% is the most actual data that we have here, Calculated by FGV, one of the most respectable economy institutions in south america. Where I enrolled my MBA. I still frequent meetings there and at the FIESP ( Industry Federetion of Sao Paulo, the most industrialized and important state in Brazil. ). This value will be on the media by the end of february. It will be hardly refused by the government.
Lets say that the industry says 12% and the govern says 10% ( The actual values accepted by the media )
About the inflation, here we have very strong working laws and the Union is very strong too. Every year, we have something called "dissidio coletivo" this is a fix salary gaing that is calculated under the inflation. THe inflation goes to 10% and you get a 10% "dissidio coletivo". If you get more than 10% during the year, you get real salary gain.
This year, we got 9,88% on most working classes. And some economist says that we had 15% on real inflation. Meaning that this year, I got 5% poorer. 5% less buying power.
BTW, question EVERY information that you have from Brazil. We have a very corrupt govern here, that is being under investigation, most of then already done and found guilty, about stealing and manipulating information/data. Don't forget about Petrobras that was sued by America, because they lied and didn't complied with SOX.
NihilMomentum 9y ago
I read somewhere that they manipulated unemployment information by counting people receiving "Bolsa Familia" as if they were employed. That how the government was able to say that they reduced unemployment.
massivewang 9y ago
The % of income tax may not be higher, but the cost of living is far higher all around.
It costs 500 BRL to get a license in brazil. Gasoline is 4 BRL per litre. an iphone 6s is 4,000 BRL. A pair of nikes can cost 400-600 BRL.
Literally the cost of almost everything - housing, food, utilities, consumer goods is outrageous if you're earning a salary in BRL.
An engineer earning 70,000 BRL is paying those prices, it's absurd.
Imagine if you had to pay $4,000 usd for an iphone or 500 usd to get your drivers license. This is what Brazilians are putting up with.
Not to mention their schools, roads, and hospitals are in bad shape.
Moldy_Gecko 9y ago
They pay almost $2500 for a license in Japan.

Japan has excellent public transportation, low crime, great infrastructure and civil services.
Brazil is one step above a dysfunctional third world shit hole.

Mostly true (although I don't know much of Brazil). I was just pointing out paying thousands for a license isn't that far fetched.
