This is a genuine question. I am on Red Pill, mainly from Rollo, for the last 10 years. I am a Daygamer, and a lot of Red Pill teachings have now been ingrained into my behaviour and dating on an unconscious basis.
However, since I found the subreddit itself, I have been reading many of the OG texts like Sexual Utopia in Power and The Misandry Bubble.
I am surprised by the amount of tech we already had since before 2010. However, one question keeps popping on my head. We know this stuff is true, both socially (15 years of observing society since the writings) and biologically (via Game). But what is the root cause that makes women throw kids and social stability under the bus, just for the sake of hypergamy optimization?
Sure, we observe this, but is it just feminist fanaticism leading the herd, and normal women follow? Where are their instincts? Do women switch to a "fast life" mode of living by getting enough cocks, and that explains the thing? Do they just live in the now, and they genuinely cannot see a few years down the line?
Disclaimer: Not meant to be read as a rant. I am bringing a question that is usually assumed as a given in most of the early (and current*) writing.
*Prove me wrong, but I stand by this: we don't have many great writers anymore. Compared to the peak of the Manosphere 15 years ago.

The answer is that women are "under the sway of the phallus".
Civilization, and every good thing that comes with it (e.g. a stable familial environment in which to nurture kids for the 20+ years needed in modern society, protection from abduction and rape, the opportunity to travel to other places safely, the safety of having a meal tomorrow etc) are essentially alien to the female instincts, which all resolve around her sexuality. Every provision to women, from the point of view of her instincts, i.e. her heart of hearts, is an attempt by Beta men to hijack her reproductive strategy. Destroying everything around her, in proper Borderline fashion, is her instincts' revolt, their assertion that they won't be fooled and taken advantaged of.
Take a wild animal as a pet and you are too likely to get eaten up at some point down the line. They weren't evolved for living inside a home.

Thing is, they are getting a flood of oxytocin post pregnancy, and their brain shrinks for months to a year (i.e., rewires). Whatever those instincts are they damn well be deeply rooted to override the biomechanics.
And in that sense, we should be able to observe it in the animal kingdom as well (...if they run so deep). But I don't think there is maliciousness to that level in other species, to the level of feminism that is.

Women feel weak and vulnerable inside. This is why the leftist agenda always praises them for Strength and independence because basically this is their achilles heel in the world.
No woman raises a family without support either of a man, wealth, the state or other community members. Woman does not function as her main role without support. A Human child is too weak and needs too much care for too many years. So woman crave security and this is biologically wired in as strong men with status. These two things are the only things that count in a primitive tribe. To them the one thing they need to fix their Achilles' heel also gives them a weakness that overrides sense.

It depends on where they are in life. They have their monthly cycles, and they also have a lifetime "cycle" for lack of a better word at the moment.
Women who "settle down" after sticking the landing in their Epiphany Phase tend to grow restless and dissatisfied. Billy Beta Bucks is boring, and she starts craving excitement again. Hence the biggest reasons women cite when they initiate divorce: they're booooooored and unhaaaaaaaappy.
That's why successful civilizations have always reined in the worst instincts in both males and females. Males' worst instincts are too violent and too much fucking around, and females' instincts are too much manipulation and too much fucking around.
Our current soyciety however keeps the worst of male instincts under control while actively incentivizing and encouraging the worst of female instincts.
All over the place, depending on where they are in life.
Once they have kids, and the state-enforced stability of child support and/or alimony and/or welfare programs, they can get right back on the Cock Carousel and enter into new Party Years.
Get rid of all the incentives to divorce, and fewer of them do it. Just look at how things changed in Kentucky when they made it law that default split of kids is 50/50 custody and no one gets child support; the divorce rate dropped off a cliff (and will probably stay low compared to other states; time will tell).
They aren't a monolith. For the truly slutty, there can never be enough cocks. For the truly virtuous, one is enough for her entire life (ultra rare, but exist). A huge number of women are somewhere between those two extremes, though a disheartening number are more slutty.
