I few days ago, Whisper wrote a post stating that Jordan Peterson was not your friend. After giving it some thought I realized that he was right, although unfortunately this caused massive triggering as expected. I would like to share my opinion on why Jordan Peterson shouldn't be labeled as the saviour of Western civilization hopefully you guys will understand the endorsed contributors perspective a little better.
What Jordan Peterson is doing, is simply uncucking Canada from Trudeau's liberal utopia. His prime objective was to protest the famous Transgender Pronoun Bill, after gaining a massive following his new objective is to make these man children grow up and be functional members of society. Now you might be wondering "What's wrong with that? It's a step forward in the right direction" Yes, you are right, but there is a small problem.
Jordan Peterson is blue pilled.
"But GreenPiller, Jordan has an IQ higher than 200 and is like really smart!" Yes he is very intelligent, but you have to understand, blue pill is blue pill no matter what. It will consume you, mold you and shape your beliefs. Society was built on the back of blue pilled men, there has been a lot of slaves through out the years but only very few kings. Jordan realized this a long time ago, he knew he had to do something to prevent society from collapsing. Sure, all of these man children will grow up, but they will grow up to be you average accountant with a mediocre looking wife making a "decent" living. None of these guys will truly make a change because they will be too busy with their mortgage, their student loans and their nagging wife.
The Red Pill shows us that The System is ruthless, it will do anything to keep the wheel spinning. Elitists will actually go out of their own way and hurt their own finances to make sure people stay put. Just look at Tom Steyer's "Impeachment" plan, or all of the nefarious plans George Soros has. The System will keep you down, the system will divorce rape you, the system will brainwash you, the system will take your soul and leave you a broken husk of a man.
Perhaps this is why Jordan takes antidepressants, he knows how fucked up the world really is, he just prefers not to see it. What I want you to understand is that marrying a roastie, having kids and being a good husband won't bring change, the system is too powerful, you will still be feeding the system. This isn't sacrifice this is stupidity.
Will the system collapse? Will things go back to normal one day? Who knows? I simply refuse to "take responsibility" over something I had nothing to do with, all I can do is keep spreading red pills to young men.
We don't need more slaves, we need to raise men powerful enough to make the system shake. Men who know the truth and don't follow the rules, men who are rich enough to be unstoppable, and men who are ruthless enough to take the media head on. Let Jordan Peterson uncuck Canada, let Ben Shekelpiro "battle" SJWs and let Milo brag about all the cocks he sucks. We don't need them, we have the Red Pill, and we will keep preserving it's awful bitter taste until the very end.

You are thinking as a collectivist even you think you are redpilled. Both nihilist and utopian thoughts are BP type, not about you and yourself but 'fears' and fantasies about how Soros or aliens control the world that actually make you satisfied.

Good post. I've never been so sure about Peterson myself. Like every rockstar intellectual, he's developing a bit of a cult following, but his seems a lot more cultish than others. Some people over on his sub, that I do peruse from time to time, will literally not accept he's got anything to say that's not pure genius.
This is why I hate terms like "Marxism" or "Machiavellianism" or any other "person's name-ism". Why not just take the smart things people have to say and ignore the stupid things people have to say?
A lot of the time it does seem like Peterson is just priming young men to be cogs in the machine with average lives who have sedentary, unexciting lifestyles, and that's what he means by "take responsibility, man".
saganist91 8y ago
That's exactly what he is doing.
[deleted] 8y ago
Yeah I'm definitely going to listen to some anonymous guy on a manosphere forum about how to live my life over a pHD clinical psychologist.. Right.
The guy's not perfect and no one has everything figured out but if we're all to reject Peterson's rationale, who's to say we shouldn't think similarly about endorsed contributors here?
Point being, Peterson and the ECs both have some substantial merit. They're not perfect, they just have merit amongst their demographics. Merit is a measure of reputation of the individual and generally speaking it makes them more qualified to give advice than say-the average joe.
If you don't like Peterson, that's fine. Some people do. You do you. I've noticed a few holes in his arguments and contradictory points in his talks, but I still think there's some wisdom in his lectures. I do get tired of "LOBSTERS!" and his constant ranting about communist russia though.

Just because he's a Phd doesn't mean he's infallible.
But, he's for sure more qualified to talk about this stuff than a 99% of self help gurus.

Some people have to settle with the genetics they were given and the life path that they took There is nothing wrong with the blue pilled path if that is your last resource to survive and replicate, to give it another go and with the vicissitudes of fate, your spawn just might have the right mutation to survive. I wouldn't put Peterson in this category. It comes down to the people who are working for society and a better world, and those who are serving themselves...I don't believe the redpill means any path that benefits the group/society is fundamentally beta. A lot of what Peterson refers to is religion and god and nobility. values that despite being subdued on redpill are fundamentally strong in society. The whole redpill path, there is a reason why you can't talk about it, you will be ostracized. Even if you don't get kicked out of your tribe you will be a target of suspicion moving forward. The redpill ethic that you claim, has a bunch of individuals running around making up their own morals, only to be reigned in by the dominant person who gets to make the morals, alpha, a king, or president. But what the idea of god did, is the idea of god put the rules outside of any man, it put them external to man. And what appears to be the case is that, religions are an attempt to codify the morals to subscribe to an idealized version of the human and the society. So another way to interpret why sinning can bring you shame in religious groups, is because you are turning your back not on god, but on yourself, every person in the group, and rejecting the benevolent collective unconscious will of the group, as they see it. We all have our gods. You just have a primitive one, the one says that you are the god.which is both true and not true hence the oh so critical choice.

What is the Red Pill? Most fundamentally, it is understanding the dynamics that underly the social matrix.
Dr. Peterson has spent his career studying these dynamics. He understands them very deeply, on the biological, psychological, social, cultural, economic, political, legal, historical, and mythological levels.
How he applies this knowledge, how he chooses to live his life, whether the tools he offers are useful to you or not, whether his goals are yours or not, is entirely beside the point. I disagree with him on a bunch of points, and choose live my life quite differently. This does not change the fact that he understands the social matrix. Saying he does not understand it implies you do not understand it yourself.

Not everyone who's disagreeing with you is "triggered" like some mental patient. Nothings unfortunate about mass disagreement, just means some people are wrong and need to think harder. And you're not cleverer than others just because you can sneak in "as expected" and imply you're knowing of others.
Posts like this are fine examples of the nihilist junk that floats around places like this.
Peterson is offering some form of path towards a better life. Something constructive. Read his latest book and then tell me with a straight face this guy is "blue pill" (stupid).
Instead posters like this want "to preserve the awful bitter taste of the red pill", i.e. keep screaming at everyone "everything's shit and life is evil". Yeah, that's much more constructive.
You have no idea what's good for other men, OP. Leave it up to those wiser than you and stop trying to pull them down.

Yeah but the former is a quick facile fix that gives people an immediate dopamine rush, kinda like unlocking an achievement in their favorite video game. The latter, however, will require discipline, organization, and dedication to a cause larger than themselves. Kinda like going to an underground MMA fight club once a week to reclaim their masculinity vs. joining project Mayhem to demolish the whole corrupt system once and for all.
Looking at the autistic backlash to both this and u/Whisper's original thread, I wonder what percentage of the TRP userbase have fully unplugged and how many of them are temporarily on a strike, waiting for some authority figure (be it the good doctor, Ben Shapiro, Milo, or some bigshot YouTube skeptic a-la Sargon of Akkad) to intellectually 'checkmate' the SJWs and the globalists into capitulation.
And once that happens, they can safely marry their unicorn NAWALT and live happily ever after as the provider workhorse who also coaches junior's little league team on the weekends like they've always wanted to.
It's funny. JBP constantly harps on how suffering, self-sacrifice, and hardship are necessary to achieve greatness in this life. Yet the most his followers are willing to do is some spring cleaning and writing a journal...

Not having children with a quality women is genetic death of your lineage. With so many posts from individuals who've found themselves lost in the inherently nihilistic nature of the red pill, you must accept this simple truth: if you do not reproduce, you're the weakest link in your genetic line.
Now actually finding a unicorn? Easier said than done.
No need to worship JP as some kind of messiah. He's simply a man who can hold frame like no other, and is knocking down all challengers. Learn what you can, discard what you can't.
OneRedYear 8y ago
Learn what you can, discard what you can't. Best sums up all redpill learning. Nearly every post has some chaff.
Rollo_Mayhem3 8y ago
you can be a blue-pilled provider and reproduce...if you go to college, get a good job, and make a decent middle-class salary...then you court an attractive female (dates, gifts, demonstrating your provider prowess, and fawning dedication that you are a nice guy..)...then why need redpill to reproduce...
[deleted] 8y ago
Beta Bux is a viable strategy if you just wanna have kids, but people care about their sanity too.
If you just marry an "attractive" female, who's used to receiving attention from "Chad" in her early 20's, now you're pathetic ass is basically begging her to marry you.
She'll probably think you're lucky to be with her, even though there are tons of irresponsible, attractive women who end up in shitty situations because they aren't saved by Beta Bux.
You'll have to deal with an entitled wife who'll probably take you to the cleaners eventually.
SultanPepe 8y ago
That's why Beta Bux is actually a viable sexual strategy. Not a preferable one, because it's a shitty deal, but in terms of sexual strategy it is successful.
PreOrgasmGroanLness 8y ago
Horseshit. There are multitude of ways to contribute to the society without reproducing. Have you ever heard of research? Creating things? Building things? These things stay after you die. Would you say Tesla, who had no children, was a failure?
[deleted] 8y ago
It's your genetic "responsibility" to pass down your genes as often as possible.
We have multiple organs dedicated to this specific purpose.
[deleted] 8y ago
This is not about contributing to society, this is strictly in regards to the prime directive of all living things on Earth: survival and replication.
Biologically speaking: The only way to pass on your unique combination of biological traits that you have cultivated to make yourself successful in the SMP, is to reproduce so as to pass on said traits to your offspring.
Hey man, just laying out the facts. This isn't a question of morality. Sexual strategy is defined as successful reproduction. That's biology.
PreOrgasmGroanLness 8y ago
Alright then. I suppose I don't care that much then. Sorry for kneejerk reply.
Rian_Stone 8y ago
Genes are playing a long game that doesn't involve you
[deleted] 8y ago
Each Gene in every individual has made a contract with their host. For example, the toes on our feet are not our toes simply out of the kindness of their heart.
The toes say "fine human! I'll be your toe only if you use the increased balance I provide you to hunt, aquire resources, and reproduce."
Another example involving eyebrows "fine, human! I'll keep the sweat out of your eyes only if you use your improved vision to hunt, aquire resources, and reproduce."
With that in mind, everything in our genetic makeup follows this reproductive imperative. A heart wants to make another heart, a kidney wants to make a kidney, etc.
It's disingenuous to say that we're not involved when our entire being is geared towards this underlying imperative. It's also disingenuous to suggest that genes only play the long game. The fact of the matter is that genetics will play any game that allows them to be sexually successful.
In any case, there's much more to genetics than I can possibly hope to explain, but the redpill ideology is a prime example of genetic imperative. Individuals were not being sexually successful in the SMP so the discontent felt drove many of us to seek out an alternative sexual strategy.
Not trying to kick off any debate here, but there are certain individuals who are ready to make the next step in terms of sexual strategy and are feeling dejected and lost by the limited vision that the redpill ideology offers. There's no good to be had in keeping them in the dark.

Whisper Vanguard 8y ago
You do not "win" the evolution game. Genes win the evolution game. You are just a square on the board.
We_Are_Legion Endorsed Contributor 8y ago
This is very interesting. But then an individual's happiness and satisfaction is pretty tied to your genes. Complete freedom from that ultimate master is pointless. That is the hand we were dealt. By design, aren't we a tool for our genes?
This is the claim I'll make: You have to do what your genes want, in some form or other, in order to get any sort of happiness.
The reasoning: Because reward chemicals are locked until you do what your nature as a man drives you to do, in its purest form.
Your consciousness (which is the "you" you refer to essentially) is an evolutionary adaptation that exists to do fine-tuned problem-solving for your environment. For the ultimate purpose of facilitating the propagation of your genes.
Everything that makes 'you' feel happy, i.e. releases endorphins in your brain... like social success or abundance of resources or even rubbing one's dick in and out of a vagina... they are all ridiculous in and of themselves. But they are compelling and rewarding to our brain because they serve the purposes of some genes. And so we want to maximise these things.
You can "fake" these things and fool your genes. For example, anyone can "cheat" a release of dopamine by watching images of naked women and rubbing their dick at the same time and they will get some happiness. But it's so shallow of a reward, that people classify it as mere "pleasure" compared to the real "happiness" of sexual contentment and abundance.
The corollary: Certain extremely rewarding chemical cocktails (what fathers subjectively describe as deep feelings of purpose, belonging, joy, contentment, pride, etc.) are locked and cannot be experienced until you reproduce, simply because it is a very high priority of your genes and they've adapted for it.
In order to not have kids, you are missing on that experience that your genes programmed into you. It can be a rational choice, especially given the marriage climate. But there is sacrifice involved.
When nature tells an asocial basement-dwelling loser "fuck women or you will remain miserable"... the answer we'd tell him is that eventually, he has to do that. If he chooses to remain incel, he is missing out.
When nature tells another man, "have a child or experience unexplainable sadness". It is a similar drive. Logically claiming to himself that "its not safe in this society" or "it is pointless"... does nothing to sate him IF he has that desire.
Disclaimer: Like everyone else, I speak from bias, but the experience sort of bias. I won't claim this biological desire to hold my child or see my girlfriend pregnant is a universal quality in all of our genes. But I absolutely claim that if you have it, its hard to be happy when society denies a man a safe way to fulfill that desire.
Growing up, I never expected nor believed that there was truth to the stories of "happiness" at hearing you're going to be a father... until I actually realized it was happening. I realize i'm in for a shit-show. i realize i wont ever marry her, no matter how much i like her or how much anyone pressures me. i realize i have to be on top of my game for the rest of my life, if i want this ltr to work. but i can't fucking help but feel happy. it doesn't coincide with my goals and the only way i can explain it is that its biological.
[deleted] 8y ago
Happiness is achieved when you're no longer a slave to the fear of pain.
Adversity is the stone that a man sharpens his blade upon.
If your only objective is to avoid pain and suffering to the point that you deny yourself a life worth living, then why are you even here?
The direction of this sub is baffling. Here we are, learning to manipulate ourselves and the people we associate with. Yet we stop short and settle for banging dumb sluts. Why stop there? Why?
If men as a whole are not satisfied with the crop of pussy being presented on the market, then men simply need to build a better farm.
Beautiful write up, amigo.

This is why petersons followers are fucking garbage (not peterson, the kiddos) they don't have a plan, so they want someone who sounds like an authority (his IQ guise!) to tell them what to think.

[deleted] 8y ago

Love the truth, not the person.
Rian_Stone 8y ago
Again it's not about peterson. His clinical psychology stuff is gold.
I'm talking about the followers. You know theres guys calling him the father of all men in America right now? Fucked right?
[deleted] 8y ago
Eh, there's something to be said about feminism destroying the nuclear family. In old times, the absence of a father was normally due to times of war. This would send a signal to Gene subsets called epigenetics, that would essentially accelerate sexual maturation (to make up the wartime losses towards the population) at the expense of IQ (look at the baby boom after WW2). You're literally seeing it play out in real time with 13 year old girls racking up n counts that would make prostitutes blush.
Lack of a father in the home is also correlated with low T, testosterone commonly being believed to be the aggression hormone when it's being discovered that testosterone's role is actually to grant the person the ability to regulate their own moods. Young men essentially becoming hormonal females who are picking their genders, because there T is so low they're falling apart. Low IQ due to the absence of their father generally means they have the inability to defer gratification or assess threats towards their long term health.
That's is why you'll see so many young men engaging in absolutely stupid behaviors, like getting hood rats pregnant or adopting a life of crime. Literally incapable of seeing anything past the end of their dick, mentally.
So yeah, it's a pity to see all these mentally handicapped individuals worship JP because it's a clear illustration of the effects of feminism: make the general populace effectively retarded so that they become cattle.
The kids you and I are talking about never stood a chance. They're damaged goods, genetically. They were born beta losers and they'll probably die beta losers.

SultanPepe 8y ago
Taking care of yourself as number one is a great start. Once you have your shit together, taking care of others, particularly kin, will make your life better because it makes the lives of those around you better. Everybody wins. Being exclusively self-centred will not be tolerated by those around you, and make them less likely to co-operate with you.
So, to answer your question. If you haven't got your shit together, start there. If you do, start helping others get their shit together.

SirKolbath 8y ago
A lot of far left liberals are very intelligent. They are either deluded by cognitive dissonance into not applying that intelligence, or they wilfully use it in an attempt, as you allude, to enslave others.
Almost worse are those who mistake wit for intelligence. Jon Stewart is a prime example of this. His tenure on The Daily Show was an unrestrained Niagara of shitshow-level strawman attacks punctuated with expressive eyebrows. Little to no rational thought was ever applied to any of the issues he "reported" upon.
There are also differing types of intelligence. Noam Chomsky is a brilliant linguist. He's also unable to reconcile the collapse of every major socialist country with his sincere belief that America would like it if only they tried it.
Whisper Vanguard 8y ago
Correct.
It doesn't matter how much intelligence there is, if the intelligence isn't calling the shots.
hemlock35 8y ago
Also I think Chomsky holds the view that the people of each socialist country were not conditioned properly for socialism. The Frankfurt school generally has very interesting thoughts, and I don’t think I would do them justice trying to explain them, but they have well thought out left wing opinions (not anything like our left wing today) and should be taken seriously.
Rian_Stone 8y ago
Not really. Give him another watch. Politically, he would be anarcho capitalist, but his thrust over 40 years was 'hold ourselves to the standards we hold the rest of the world to'. That and power should have to justify it's existence, or be dismantled.
Noble goal, little nieve, but noble.
hemlock35 8y ago
I’m convinced that very few left wingers understand the power structure that they are entering into when they embrace the ideology. Those at the top very well could be aware and very well could be as much slaves as the feminist going to UC Berkeley. They don’t see the word “kindness” as a euphemism for “control.” Not consciously, the psychoanalysts would probably have something to say about their subconscious though.
[deleted] 8y ago
Yesterday an SJW hardbody plate who loves to be choked, beaten, and railed told me you cant like Jordan Peterson, if you follow his 12 steps, you have to leave your wife
I told her I could read and enjoy him while picking what I liked to try and improve my life and see if it works. I was free to discard whatever I wanted and I didnt need to be binary like she thought.
This goes for most of you guys too.
This shouldnt be so hard to understand
shitpostsfrequently 8y ago
I have to disagree with this sentiment. All men should look to divide the world into something other than just being red pill or blue pill. Its far more complex than that.
Kinbaku_enthusiast 8y ago
So you first make the mistake in deiyifying jordan peterson and then realise you've taken it too far and throw down and destroy His graven image.
Seems like Aristotle was right, virtue is the balance between two extremes and you have erred in both instances.
Besides, there can be no saviour of western civilization. Western civilization is dead. There could maybe be a resurgence of western civilization, but it's more likely one of our children will lead that than someone from our generation. We'd need to have some to even stand that chance of course, without racemixing ourselves into oblivion.
Besides even your conclusion coincides with jordan peterson's when you say that we need to raise powerful men. Yet simultaneously you decry having kids. You need to work out the inconsistancies in what you're trying to achieve.
Finally you claim that taking responsibility of something makes you its slave. You have that backward, if you effectively take responsibility for something and it is within your circle of influence, you are not its slave, you are its master. If you end up its slave you took on responsibilities above your capability.
PreOrgasmGroanLness 8y ago
Well for starters he advocates monogamy is the be-it-all endgame for relationships. As much as he's intelligent, he has zero clue about non-monogamy and whenever he starts talking about monogamy and marriage I just cringe.

Bro, I'm dying here, "ben shekelpiro" LOL.
I agree with you on this premise, I however want to state that not every man has this within him. I have a BP friend I have known since we were kids, and I have been RP for years now. Every time I bring the RP up to him he gives me a blank stare as if I had sprouted an extra head or some thing. He does not want to accept the cold hard truths I have for him.
Even when I lurk in other subs I want so badly to tell some of these men about TRP but I know I would get down voted into oblivion for doing so.
At this point in my life I debate whether to stay quiet or rage onward into the night never retreating from the ignorance known as reality to so many.
On a final note, Jordan is intelligent however that doesn't mean he has all the answers. There are "types" of intelligence such as logical, abstract, musical, bodily kinisthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, emotional, creative, spatial etc... There are more but I'll spare you the science lesson.
At this point of TRP do you think that spreading TRP to other men is our duty? Or should men be left to discover it on their own through heart-ache and confusion?

Spread RP knowledge by adopting RP principles. Lead by example, make people want to be more like you by letting them observe your success.

Spread nothing. Take a penny, leave a penny.
If someone is going to fail at life, there isn't a damned thing you can do to stop him

Still a rather neutral position, he just sounds like a guy that panders to women constantly. Bring in specifics. Forget RP BP what specifically makes him not your friend.

As you say the blue pill is not about being stupid. Actually it's about being intelligent, there's nothing that is not completely right from a logical point of view. Unfortunately often things don't follow logic.

Who tf told you JP was RP? Haven’t heard this. His well thought message needn’t categorization for validation purposes. JP’s message is quite standalone.

OP never said JP was RP, he said JP was BP and that BP is still a paradigm not ideal for men no matter how you cut it.
iamtwon 8y ago
Nonsense BP is the antithesis of RP. I just took it to a logical level. Bring specifics into play instead of how you feel. How, specifically, is JP BP?

Low muscle mass(soft, it's one thing to be lean but the dude isn't hitting the gym hard to be that way), high pitched voice, tradcon, religious, emotional
JP seems like a great dude and I support him standing up to crazy liberals, but he is not a red pill role model.
iamtwon 8y ago
He is specifically neither. He’d likely say the same.
iwasbornred 8y ago
Eh. He's no beta, I'll give you that.
I think the point people are making is that he is a political figure arguing in the battle of ideas. It's more the fact that he isn't redpill than he's "bluepill"
Honestly I think RP/BP is more of a spectrum anyway. There are 6'3 motherfuckers that absolutely slay but will become BP as fuck when they commit to a relationship. Then you have the opposite side of the coin, some dweeby looking dude that has trouble pulling quantity but is extremely dominant in his relationships.
I'm sure JP has had no problem holding frame in whatever relationships he has had.
