What is it that many men find so disgusting about when a woman we like for more than just sex has a high body count? I really don't like it at all myself and I cannot pinpoint why. I'm talking about cases when you have a high degree or certainty that she is invested in you exclusively and wants no one else, but her past is dense. I heard about evolutionary biology linking promiscuity to parenthood uncertainty and thus a defense mechanism akin to fear of heights, insecurity by comparison with past partners, statistics correlating divorce and whatnot that most people are not aware of, ... it's something more visceral. Any wisdom?

“ you have a high degree or certainty that she is invested in you exclusively” you are simply wrong about this. At best, she is interested in what a monogamous lifestyle has to offer now that she’s fucked everyone she finds attractive. She is not interested in “you exclusively” but that lifestyle. However, she will eventually reminisce about the fun she used to have and will be more likely to cheat on you in the future as there are clearly fewer barriers in her mind for spreading her legs than there would be for a less-promiscuous woman. That doesn’t mean she WILL cheat, but she is more likely to. The pair bond will also likely be weaker, as you are one of many. If you stop meeting her fantasy requirements for an ideal monogamous relationship, the pairing will fail more easily. Evolutionary biology likes to avoid bad odds. “Something visceral” is your DNA saying “DANGER! TRAP!”

I can give you some reasons but first let me say you don't need do no more than trust your gut on this one. You know the truth inside. Why should men be so conditioned by gynocentrism as to not just be allowed to trust their feelings? Be yourself. You don't need to justify this. Its natural. Its you. You know inside that sluts are only good for one thing. Good girls can be just as good at that thing too and are better for everything else. You know this just like you father and his father and all your fathers' fathers. Honour nature, honour your ancestors. To hell with anyone who says you need to justify your nature.
Yes it is a defence mechanism against being cuckolded.
It is also because most women will tell you that every man they sleep with takes a piece of them for good. (All the women I have lain with have told me this anyway). Women are supposed to pair bond strongly by sex but this is weakened with each partner she has and fails with, so women who have a lot of sex are poor at pair bonding.
Women will compare you to other men they have had in a wide range of fields. Because they are programmed to always want better, once the new wears off you, they will feel they failed themselves when they gave themselves to you.
There is some evidence that every man who jizzes in a woman can make chimeras with her own DNA, so changing her. Its probably not a big effect but it is a real one.
Oh yeah and its gross.

Recently had a third date with a woman and she said don't do this in bed it reminds me of this certain dude of my past.... It doesn't disgust me if someone had many partners it's just harder to connect and not be compared indeed. I noticed this mostly with women 30+ or so, most have seen it all and you easily trigger some ick or don't meet some standard even if you have everything else. Or you'll be used for a while and to dull the pain of losing some ex and then discarded.
The thing about the piece counts for everyone I think. I'm feeling this way not with sex but with every relationship I had, they all have a piece of me. The big ones own a whole version of myself that I had to shed like a snakeskin (latest shedding in progress).
