So we'll never know what actually went down, but I would guess that she got bored. It could well be that she gets 'the ick' from men that love her, (very common)...so she dumped him and fell for a guy that is sleeping around, and treating her with contempt and disrespect that she craves.
You have to realise that a high % of women simply cannot be made happy. You can be rich, handsome, huge dong, ripped, etc etc etc - and she reaslly really really wants you - and then she gets you - and she will get bored. This is reality.

As to OP's question, TRP doesn't mean every woman is a robot. All bets are off when a woman has hundreds of millions of dollars, the way we think about sexual strategy probably does not exactly apply. If I had to guess I'd say hypergamy takes on a different meaning for women like that, they do often have to 'marry down' since there are literally so few options to marry up. They have no want of resources and in cases of self-made women, are exceptional in their own way that probably makes their prerogative different than the average women. Oprah may be another example.

If you’re a woman (read: supermodel), what’s the point of having the best man in the world if he’s not around for you and your kids?

Women aren't attracted to guys who spend money on them. It's not even a new concept, you can see this trope in old movies like "Casino" where the wife cheats on her rich husband with some broke loser at a motel 6. Spending money on her = beta signals

Actual value and SMV are two different things. A guy who is successful, rich and ambitious has a lot of actual value. He might have a decent amount of SMV if he's also handsome and muscular, but his SMV is offset by how much of his money he spends on the girl. Take that same dude, but have him not spend a penny on her, and demand that SHE pay HIM, and watch the huge difference it makes in how she treats him. Well, I grew up in a certain region of the US where this was the cultural norm. It's also where terms like "simp" originated back in the 1980s. This conflicted with my own traditional upbringing (my family are not from the US and are from a more traditional Eastern background), so I didn't really start embracing it until about the late 1990s and early 2000s, but I saw an immediate difference in how women treated me compared to before, when I was the proverbial "nice guy" who wanted to take them out on dates and pay for their food.
My experience has been that when women found me attractive, they would spend money on me without even any solicitation. They considered it normal to want to spoil a guy they like. I had girls buy me clothes, buy me food. I even had one girl pay for my hotel room for several months when I was unemployed and homeless. It didn't matter to them if I was broke, unemployed, or if I was even in jail. I had girls put money on my books while I was locked up, drive several hours and then sit in the parking lot of the jail the entire day waiting for me to be released, just to greet me with brand new clothes, a freshly rolled blunt and some grade-A head.
Like the old saying goes, women make rules for betas and break rules for alphas. Beta bucks, alpha fucks.
