i find that looks don't matter that much once you are used to a chick. I've had fantastic sex with chicks that were really not that hot and terrible sex with models. What makes a woman great in bed? Its actually overwhelmingly simply 'enthusiasm'. A woman that is not great looking but absolutely mad for it, comes in less than a minute, then gets on her knees to swallow every last drop of your love custard...thats something you'll remember 30 years later.
Being hung up on looks is a bit blue pilled. women get over rewarded for how they look. I'm not saying that hot looking women are crap in bed and that ugly women are great - I'm just saying that the important thing is how enthusiastic they are in bed.
For me the thing that really matters is how enthusiastic they are and also how obedient and submissive they are - how much they care about my pleasure. All of my LTRs were women that did what they were told in bed - which means they waxed their pussies and put on lingerie (my particular fetish). Also, I'm really not going to get on with a woman that doesn't come very quickly (too boring). Also, some women simply don't come from PiV sex - that's an instant ban from me.
So - all in all, I don't count looks that much. It's a mix of enthusiasm, obedience and behaviours outside of the bedroom - things like loyalty and respect.
If men keep chasing the 'hotties', keep making exceptions for women that 'are beautiful', then they get what they deserve.

The brain instinctively makes the calculations of what you will accept better than you can.
My observations; I have made these compromises when it comes to breeding stock. To be honest one is never quite happy unless you get both. I have compromised looks for youth (didn't age well, glad I bailed before it was too bad), I have compromised looks for maternal qualities and loyalty (worked exactly as I thought but I was unsatisfied and got a roving eye as years passed and things didn't wear well), I have accepted an older model for good looks (better overall satisfaction, not sorry to be seen with her even with many years on the clock) but to be honest I was only once entirely happy when I got youth and looks.
You have to be able to see a family photo in ten years time and feel proud of her as your mate. Look at the mother. She is likely to be the best predictor of the future you will find.
