In just the last week, 2 people I know have been doxxed and publicly shamed. one guy for "indecent texts" and another for "grooming" (he's 18, she's 16 and legal where I live, but the mob doesn't give a shit).
both of them are artists and are somewhat famous so things got viral and even though they're not in legal trouble. their career is now ruined.
do you guys think it's a good idea to pretend to be gay at the workplace to avoid all of this metoo bs? obviously we shouldnt shit where we eat, but the way things are going nowadays, even a glance can become an accusation, not to mention jokes, texts etc.

No.
benzino 1y ago
and why do you think so?
Typo-MAGAshiv Endorsed Contributor 1y ago
1) Lying is almost never a good idea. Ethics and morals aside, it's extra shit to remember and if/when someone discovers the truth, no one will trust you anymore ("if he lied about this, what else has he lied about?").
2) it'll open you to fags hitting on you.
3) it will add needless complication to your life.

thanks for clarifying man. this shit hits too close to home for me and considering how I knew my friends, I can see it happening to me too.
I plan to just drop that: Im not interested in women and I already had a partner. then perhaps they would leave me alone. No extra info besides that, so not really that complicated to keep the facade. I already dont talk to anyone at the workplace besides one other dude, yet they targeted me because my work being better make them look bad (women included in this group, so I dont want to get metoo'd)
I already got gay dudes hitting on me. I just told them Im not interested and they leave me alone. so not much of a deal
I just want to work and grind for the next few years until I save enough money. I've seen people get fired and ruined over this. I just want to find a way to make sure I dont get the same outcome. I cant find a job where it's 100% male. and the younger women nowadays are so sensitive that unless you keep complete silence, anything can be turned against you.
It might sound like a stupid idea, but this is the time we're living in

If you ask this kind of questions, they probably know you are.
benzino 1y ago
and to give you more context. some people at work have put me under the radar for being a good worker and making them look bad.
the manager who works with me has told me over a beer, that some girls told him that I texted them too much. I showed him the google chat history which is 100% work related and professional, as well as how I text everyone to make sure communication in the project is effective. he told me he understood and advised me to be more careful in this metoo era and only stick to group chats.
since I have a target on my back, is it so bad to ask a question that is potentially relevant to a lot of young men nowadays? or do you prefer to see questions about whether I should text some chick back or not?

I thought this forum was for discussion of men's issues in modern times? I might be gay, or bisexual, but does it even matter?
what I noticed is gay men are totally exempt from any accusation of harassment or misogyny. and since RP is amoral, lying about it so you can get their advantages isnt something too ridiculous.
if you can offer some arguments on why this is a bad idea, I'll be glad to listen. If it's just some lame gay jokes then the quality of this forum has truly turned to shit

The irony lmaoo
If you have to work in such an environment that you have to present yourself like a faggot, you need to quit asap.
This is the point you're missing. The competition hired some legbeards to shame them and remove them from the scene. It's a classic tactic, and the only way to fail is to apologize.
You're not that important. If you notice some plotting, document everything.
benzino 1y ago
like I said, there are things you cant document.
you being on this forum should know the kinds of accusations we face in this era, which requires ZERO proof. so good luck with your documentation. that wont work
and regarding my friends, no it wasnt some competition. it was some girlfriends who knew the girl that decided to be some SJW and threw them under the bus.
one of them went totally silent, the other issued some defense, then both deleted all their accounts. they have lost all theif upcoming gigs and lost a big part of their income in the coming months. so do they lose or do they win in this case?
and since you talked about irony: do you see the large text on the top in capital letters? "forbidden ideas" - I understood it as anything goes. nothing is forbidden. I already made the case that gay guys are exempt from these kinds of unfounded accusations. and since it's just work, I dont give a shit if they think Im gay. I just dont want to suddenly get demoted or disciplined over something untrue.
And no, I dont want to quit, I dont need to quit. I hate the people, but I like the job and the money. You dont know me, nor my situation, not everyone can just afford to quit and find a new job, especially in this economy. and what if that happens at the new place too? do you also quit?
If you think it's a bad idea, I already said I would gladly listen. so why are you going the route of ridiculing other men, instead of offering another solution?

Buy a copy of this book: How to Destroy A Man Now (DAMN): A Handbook
If you get any accusations, take the book into the office, throw it on the table and say, "Prove that she didn't read this."

Cool, appear in some mini skirt and high heels tomorrow in you workplace. No underwear ofc. Extra points if you suck your managers dick afterhours, just to make sure he knows you're a fag.
Profit.

cool. fuck off

Why don't these guys sue the company for wrongful termination and the women for slander? Maybe a personal injury attorney would do it on a contingency fee basis. It's obvious they suffered financially so there's damages to be claimed. Your boss is aware of this and both you and him can testify against these cunts. Document everything and build a case while everything is fresh. Remember there may be a statute of limitations. If this company and these chicks have multiple lawsuits against them it looks really bad for them when you come along with one too.
Untill they come for you, follow the Pence rule. The Modesto Manifesto or Billy Graham rule is a code of conduct among male evangelical Protestant leaders, in which they avoid spending time alone with women to whom they are not married. It is adopted as a display of integrity, a means of avoiding sexual temptation, to avoid any appearance of doing something considered morally objectionable, as well as for avoiding accusations of sexual harassment or assault.
In 2017, it began to be also called the Mike Pence rule, after the US vice president, a practicing Christian, who also supported the idea.

You're making numerous cognitive fallacy mistakes in the post and comments
One, you are putting men having to avoid false accusations as some kind of god tenet that must be worshipped to the detriment of actually considering any other input or situational context that goes into even false accusations
2 you are not even looking at the consequences of lying, namely because you are irrationally fixated on 1
False accusations rarely happen in a vacuum. While not deserved, most men who get false accusations recklessly dip their toes in the water with leaving text evidence on group chats, emails, office flirting etc.
Again they don't deserve to be falsely accused of reported but most of the time they gave their naysayers ammo. I am fairly confident the guys you are describing were reckless about giving ammo, as wrong as false accusations and over-reports are

Horrible idea.Better to act like an asexual. It could work if you're bisexual and you choose to be super gay for professionalisms but it's still a horrible idea.Just learn to not be creepy and indecent, let them be the creeps
Problematic_Browser 1 1y ago
Absolutely not.
Never EVER put any sexuality into the workspace. It's even worse if you're lying because you will give yourself away eventually.

Depending on your industry, it might be a better idea to simply inform HR that you are trans. Just ask for a confidential meeting, and in that meeting, tell them about your trans identity. Also tell them that you feel harrased and bullied, and that you need confidentiality so that you can feel safe in the work place. Follow this meeting up with an email market 'confidential' and just get them to confirm that they have logged your formal complaint and request for privacy.
That's it. That's all you need to do. You do not need to wear a dress or change your name etc or pronouns.
If you ever get fired, for whatever reason, you simply file a case for unfair dismissal - you revealed your transgender status to them, they didn't take it seriously, they didn't follow up your complaint for harrastment and bullying (they never do, HR are retarded), they didn't treat sensitive data appropriately (see previous comment) and they have now fired you because of your trans identity.
There is no come back from that. There is no defence. If they try, they will make it worse. They will say things like 'Well,he's not really trans, he make no effort, didn't wear a dress, didn't change his name etc"
This is all just further ammunition to you - they have just committed a further offense - by denying your trans identity - which is now a hate crime. (on top of unfair dismissal).
They will be forced to settle out of court.
