How to improve is simple but hard to actually do: constant practice with constant directed efforts to understand and improve.

Put yourself in social situations as much as possible and try to interact with people as much as possible.
The fact that you ask this question tells me you don't spend enough time outside.

Treat everyone the same. A thing I notice about a lot of young guys nowadays is they only want to talk to people they want something from. A hot girl. A cool friend group. You have to be so good at socializing you enjoy talking to a random grandma with no teeth who can do nothing for you.
