I'm a leader and I have huge social proof, I have a lot of free time because of my job (that I despise despite the fact it's lucrative, but that's for another post) so I can easily organize events in general. People ask me to go out with me very frequently and I like to organize dinners and other things. While I can see this is a trait of a leader I do recognize this is also a trait of a guy who has a lot of free time. I mean, if I got serious things going on in life I wouldn't have the time to even think about organizing. I'm not needy at all, but if I always try to organize events I might come across as needy. I think this is just my perception, after reading a lot of TRP I'm always on the lookout for potential errors so to speak.

Sometimes, not often, but some of the times, people flake and this is something I cannot withstand. I think this hits me very deeply, probably because my integrity is ideal. I never flake, I always maintain my word, I am never late for an appointment etc. When people cancel I tend to take it personally, I'm not angry but... why an event should be cancel if it isn't my fault? I think I'm ego invested in some way, probably the fact someone cancels at moment notice sends me a msg "I don't value you enough". Obv I don't let people see my reaction, what I do is just take a note and not invite them next time and reduce the attention I give to them, regardless of whether it is a guy or a girl. This is not pouting, I just think that if you want to be with me, you will find out some time and if you don't probably you don't care and that's ok, thanks so I can hang out with people that care.

Right now my behavior seems to be great, I'm always surrounded by people literally, also when people confront me (sometimes this happens too) on why I haven't invited again, I was always straight "I don't beg people, if you want to go out, you are welcomed, but again I don't beg for people's time". I can see that calling them out really hit them deeply and I got huge respect for my stance.

This is my experience but since I'm posting here, I'm openly admitting that I don't understand the whole dynamic, so any comment/criticism is welcomed
