Most of the people here who say they are autistic are just fooling themselves. You have been swayed by the internet and some false tests that make you believe that you have a disorder. You don't suffer from anything, you have a choice. You can either remain in your safe bubble and be a failure, or you can go out and confront the world and be a success. I used to think i had autism too, because I kept seeing people claiming that they were autistic (the domino effect), until I realized it was all in my head.
I decided to go out and socialize more, and guess what? I got better at reading people, learning from them, and seeing the world as it really is. I cleared my mind of all the bullshit and I saw the beauty of the world. I saw the power dynamics, the hidden agendas, the manipulation. So stop being a pussy and using autism as an excuse for your failures. It's not a real thing for most people. It's something you make up. Sure, some people are born with disadvantages, like being short (yes, being short is a disadvantage.) But autism is not one of them. It's something you can change, if you want to. I’m not saying autism is bogus, yes it exists, but saying you are autistic because some loser told you, then you are a loser. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. So stop labeling yourself and making it your identity.
You are what you believe you are.
What do you think?
Edit: read my comment

Just couple of days ago new results were published about ADHD/Autism. It claims that it could be potentially detected by [don't quote me] CT scan or MRI.
Results are based on scans of brains of several [hundreds] of patients.
The only problem I see with results is, since this topic is hot and there is some crooks and liberals amongst researchers, they could be researching not representative sample of patients.
Researhc diffre from others with that they have been looking at the whole brain neural connections, instead of smal portion.

Please list your relevant medical degrees and peer-reviewed studies.
Otherwise, fuck off with this nonsense.
Anbessa 2y ago
Can you tell me why?
Problematic_Browser 1 2y ago
Because unless you can demonstrate that you know what you're talking about and you're not just an asshole with an opinion, I have no reason to disregard those who have done the hard work.
Anbessa 2y ago
What are you asking me to demonstrate? I am only stating the obvious.
Below is an answer I gave to another commenter. I would like to know what you think.
“My post was not meant to challenge or negate autism, which is a real medical condition that affects many people. However, what i wanted to point out was that some people apply the term “autism” in a vague and incorrect way, to justify a kind of self-imposed limitation or excuse. I have seen many posts where people claim to have "autism" as an excuse for not doing something or behaving in a certain way. This is not the same as the actual condition, which i respect and i know people who have it. This is a false notion of autism that people have invented in their own minds based on their beliefs and assumptions. In the post, I was not referring to the real medical condition, but the one that people imagined in their mind, a fictitious condition. That’s s why I chose that title for my post. I am open to changing it, but I think it captures the message I wanted to convey.”
mattyanon Admin 2y ago
There is a huge difference between "most of you are not autistic" and "autism does not exist".
Please don't tell us what to think ("and you shouldn't either") especially without any evidence to contradict decades of scientific research into a serious mental condition.
Vermillion-Rx Admin 2y ago
OP just being a computer toucher philosopher
Lone_Ranger 3 2y ago
I'm with you Matty, but OP does have a point. Because there are so many people that use it as an excuse.
Also, we have to be realistic about 'medical research'. I have a very good friend that is a therapist / councillor, and he really opened my eyes to the 'medical industrial complex'. The amount of people diagnosed with ADHD / autism has rapidly increased in recent years. One of the reasons is because once you have a diagnosis, you can access other aspects of care, esp in education. So parents push for a diagnosis. And some therapists make most or all of their money from giving a 'diagnosis'. He told me about one school where 25% of all children had a diagnosis for one thing or another - usually ADHD or a variant.
Something is going on there. It's not statistically possible for 25% of the population to have such rare conditions.
Vermillion-Rx Admin 2y ago
I think diagnoses are often inflated and I hate the medical complex which has devolved medicine into cash grab but autism is a legitimate medical condition with neuropsychological basis.
It SHOULD only be diagnosed in actual cases but it is a legitimate medical condition of the brain

I mean just take it as a posting lesson that was the takeaway and it came across to everyone wrong
I understand your point and that's why I made my autistic alpha post last month
I do see people make excuses and they don't have autism
Anbessa 2y ago
I have already responded to vermilion, so please check that out.
mattyanon Admin 2y ago
Yes, yes you are. You said "And you shouldn't either".
Opinions based on what experience exactly?
And from vermillion's post:
You literally said you don't believe in it. The title of your post is "I don't believe in autism".
The condition which you said, as the title of your post, you don't believe in.
Again, title starts with "I don't believe in autism".
Don't change it.
Start again, and this time say what you mean rather than starting with saying you don't believe in things that you say you do.
Anbessa 2y ago
“and you shouldn’t either” is a suggestion not a command, just my personal view.
“Opinions based on what experience exactly?”
Based on my experience.
Again, i was not talking about the real medical condition, but the one that some people pretend to have, which is not true. I chose that title to make you see my argument after reading the post.
You seem to be very touchy about this. And I don’t think are discussing in good faith.
I think you are autistic. I have the freedom to share my views, and if you disagree with me, you can f off. Or ban me if you have the ability to do that.
Also I respect you.
mattyanon Admin 2y ago
After reading what post?
I'm a stickler for the truth.
The autistic that you don't believe in? To quote the title of your post: "I don't believe in autism"
You have the freedom to share those views, and I have the freedom to say you're talking out of your ass.
At least we agree on that.... you've changed your mind so many times that you also disagree with yourself.
I do, but why bother, this is a good instruction for others to not talk shit.
Well that's good, but don't make ad hominem attacks if you want the same back. And before you start typing "I didn't make any ad hominem attacks", you have said I am talking in bad faith and you have said I am autistic.
Kinda crazy that you are fed up with people calling themselves autistic, but are happy to throw out the same exact diagnosis...... that you don't believe in and apparently I shouldn't either.
Anbessa 2y ago
My Original Post
Alright, but you should be open-minded and considerate to other perspectives, because you don’t have the final say on reality.
I said you were autistic just to demonstrate how people abuse that term, constantly.
Fine
Again, i said i used that term just to prove my point, but you can interpret it however you like.
I don’t think we are on the same page.
Vermillion-Rx Admin 2y ago
In an effort to refute autism you displayed it.
Most people toss "autism" around as a metaphoric dig, it's not literal. Ironically being this literal is something someone with autism would do.
Also I'm on the autism spectrum and even i know that no one is seriously diagnosing random internet strangers with autism 99% of the time the word is used
Durek_The_Bald 2y ago
I think I am a lady.
Anbessa 2y ago
I think i can fly.
No-Stress-Cat 2y ago
Either you're autistic or your not.
This spectrum shit is a bunch a feminist bullshit for single mothers to try and explain why their kids are as fucked up as they are. The same goes for ADHD, or ADD, or any of that other "behavioral disorder" shit. The only thing wrong with these kids is they never had a dad around to whip their ass when they steped out of line. Mothers coddle. Dads discipline.
Anbessa 2y ago
Problematic_Browser 1 2y ago
My son is autistic.
Admittedly, he's well behaved because - as you said - daddy is around to whip his ass.
But the idea that autism isn't real is "vaccines cause autism" level retarded.
No-Stress-Cat 2y ago
Let me be clear. I never said autism isn't real. What I said was either someone is autistic or not. There's no gray area here. Black and white yes you are or no you're not.
My point was that the "spectrum" does not exist. It's an excuse used by single mothers who rather coddle their children than discipline them. When their kid acts up, SuReLy It'S nOt BeCaUsE tHeY aRe FaiLuReS aS pArEnTs DuE tO LaCk oF diSciPliNe, BuT bEcAuSe ThEiR kiD mUsT bE a SpEciAL nEeDs KiD, aNd tHeY nEeD GoVeRnMeNt To GiVe tHeM mOnEy FoR iT REEEE!!!
I call fucking bullshit.
Problematic_Browser 1 2y ago
You calling "bullshit" isn't really worth considering because you don't know more than the CDC.
https://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/autism/facts.html
No-Stress-Cat 2y ago
The CDC, are you serious? The same CDC that said the COVID jab would prevent COVID from spreading? The same CDC that said COVID came from bat soup in a Wuhan wet market? The same CDC that says there are 32 different genders? The CDC's idea of "science" is what the governments around the world pay them to say what it is. Get the fuck outta here with that CDC shit.
Problematic_Browser 1 2y ago
No, you get the fuck out with your zero years of medical school ass
No-Stress-Cat 2y ago
Look bro, I'm not a medical professional. But I'm also not stupid. If the government is telling me one thing, and I see the complete opposite happening right in front of my face, should I say, "Oh, gee, my eyes must be lying to me," or "the government is full of shit."?
Here's my reasoning as to why I say it's bullshit: Over the course of 40 years, I've watched all this shit unfold. ADHD, ADD, the Spectrum, etc. didn't exist with GenX (me). All that shit started with GenY. Why is this significant? Because the GenY population that have these "behavioral disorders" are directly related to the explosion of single mother households in the mid to late 90's. Coddle coddle coddle. Now, look at GenZ. They're fucking more dysfunctional than the previous generation. Now, look at GenA. I don't even know what the fuck to make of them. They don't even know what the fuck to make of themselves.
I don't know why you're so triggered. If you disagree, feel free to disagree, and tell me WHY you disagree other than "The government said so."
Problematic_Browser 1 2y ago
That's all you had to fucking say.
Anbessa 2y ago
Yes, nostresscat is right. But the real question is, do you even have a medical degree?
Problematic_Browser 1 2y ago
I don't have a medical degree, so I don't try to argue with those who do.
I am not an engineer, so I don't argue with engineers about how buildings are made.
I do not have a law degree, so I don't argue with lawyers over torts.
Arguing with experts when you aren't one is fucking retarded.
Edit: and no, he isn't right - he just agrees with you. Congratulations, you're both wrong.
