I've had this happen to me numerous times where women would come on to me extremely strong and then after I fail to reciprocate interest they would somehow misremember my name, mind you I have an easy to remember popular name and they have called me by it numerous times before so I know they know the correct name.

I forget people’s names all the time. Knowing women though, it’s likely mind games. It could be her way of showing how you’re not on her mind, or at least that’s what she wants you to think.

Men and women have fucked up my name numerous times over the years.
When I was a kid and young adult, I'd correct them.
As I discovered my Inner Asshole in my early 20s, I'd fuck with them by deliberately fucking theirs up in return. I liked the results this method brought, whether it was an apology or mutual laugher or just my own amusement.

This, 1000x. Anything other than an enthusiastic yes should be treated as a no when it comes to determining any further effort invested in a particular woman. Just move onto the next woman, not like there aren't millions turning 18 every damn day or anything.
Half the issues newbies have is they just fucking refuse to let go of scarcity mentality and tie up way too much energy into specific women that have done nothing to deserve it.

Newbie scarcity is a real thing, seriously. N00bs have such little xp that once they get even lukewarm interest from a chick (even if she's just being friendly or polite) they try to polish that turd until they get a Hell NO from her, instead of becoming men that get a Hell YES!

Except the chick in mind is constantly stalking me, I have to take different paths to avoid her, she previously would scream out my name whenever she saw me even from 100m, she also initially came up to me and basically admitted she was stalking me. So I know she is more than interested.
