In the beginning, I think yes. Heres why: Girls are fucking retarded. They have somehow programmed or been wired to throw guys into boxes unnecessarily, primarily because of being hyper-judgmental and brainwashed by the female Western collective
To them restaurant on a first date is beta. Coffee dates have shades of beta. Accepting their reschedule has shades of beta. If you make a living online youre a nerd. If you hit them up past 10pm its a bootycall Etc - theres these rules they follow like laws. They dont seem to realize that an alpha can ask them on a coffee date, or an alpha can make a living online, at least in the beginning phases.
To them, a night time date is usually the "right" foot to start off on, if you want to start strong and sexy. Also the classic "drinks" date is what they think high value Chads do for first dates. And that Walter the Beta Provider is going to take them to Red Lobster at 3pm in the afternoon.
You have to play into the stereotypes or the "rules" to a degree. After the first few dates you can start becoming more "normal" and do day-dates as well...
Its just that in the very beginning phases they are super judgmental even though they lack the real world view that some men may not be available at night time due to X, Y, Z obligations..
I always save first dates for night time for this reason. After we have sex or she gets to know my character and lifestyle and schedule its much easier to open up the rest of my schedule without them putting you in a box.
