I am currently reading 'HOW TO GET LAID LIKE A WARLORD: 37 Rules of Approaching Model-Tier Girls' and I have a question
Rule 21 states: "Women have to see you have a strong frame, because otherwise they have no confidence that you’ll be able to protect them and remain calm in the face of danger. And the ONLY way they can figure out if you have strong frame is by testing you, being bitchy, insulting you, brushing you off, ignoring you, etc."
But I've picked up that the greatest "superpower" of a man is willing to walk away from a girl if she disrespects you or something
So if a girl acts bitchy, insults you etc, which supposedly is a shit test that you should overcome to become attractive to her, by ignoring it and continuing as if you didn't even hear it, won't you come off as needy which makes her lose attraction for you?
So how do you combine these two? Walking away and passing the tests, what is the border?

A girl blatantly disrespecting you needs to be countered with a strong zinger degrading her if she does it publicly. Do not allow women to disrespect or insult you seriously ever. Fuck the shit test, you set a bitch straight. Your self respect matters more than you getting a girl. Everyone including her will know not to fuck with you. Just never get emotional, reply in a calm but assertive way. This can only Garner respect.

You're going to get different answers from different guys, according to taste.
Me, I'm in my 50s, have my fair share of LTR's, STRs, hook ups, and 2 marriages. The one thing I can say for sure is that I got tired very quickly of shit tests. I find them irritating, grating and destructive to relationships. They tend to spoil nice times.
If I could go back in time, I would tell new or prospective girl friends that I simply do not tolerate any form of shit testing. I just will not accept even the slightest hint of disrespect. If she is a quick learner, she will adapt and moderate her behaviour ....if not, walk away.
I let far too much slide in my previous relationships. I allowed women to disrespect me far too much.
So, my recommendation would be to have the chat first, and let her know that she might be used to 'teasing' other men, but you are different. That your hard and fast rule is that she cannot be in the slightest bit disrespectful. And then I would give her one chance, and if she transgresses, I would react very swiftly by saying something like 'How come you're so fat? All my other girlfriends were just much thinner and hotter than you' - to illustrate to her that its not ok to be disrespectful towards me. And that would be it - no more warnings. the very next time would result in the slow ghost.

But isn't that against game principles? You're supposed to play the game, not to force her out of her drama. AFAIK, wouldn't a better way would be to show this anger in a covert way; for example, going no-contact, single word answers, etc.

In the end of the day, you have to play your own game. My game is simple - I am not interested in hottie and baddies. I would rather a plain looking woman that had great behaviour than some Becky that 'looks hot' and behaves like a spoilt entitled brat, constantly testing me and being a total bitch.

But what if you just want to bang and leave, don't you think passing the test is okay? The problem is in my opinion you get very close by coming over as needy if you want to pass them

Know the difference between disrespect and a shit test
Disrespect: she thinks poorly of you
Shit test: she is attracted but wants to confirm that's she's attracted to an alpha and not a guy faking it. She wants to verify her decision to fuck you adequately matches her preference for a man who has value
Other than that it comes down to choice. I just don't like bitchy cunts. I have too many non-bitchy cunts to choose from to care for their mean-variety shit tests. If I had no options I'd probably just try to pass their shit tests but I don't have to
