Colleen hoover. I was buying my bitch these books. Read online something about some love triangle and ex husband yada yada yada. Basically some stupid whore shit.
Anyone know anything about Colleen hoover and the drivel she writes? And, what does it mean for a girl to be obsessed with books about a whore protagonist?

Stoooopid bitches, read stooopid bitch shit.
Joke apart, a while back I would watch korean dramas that have a strong understanding of the female mind. I suspect it's the same shit about women's literature. It must be saying something deep about their psyche.
I'm trying to figure out what the "Hero's Journey" equivalent for women is.
It seems to always involve the same pattern:
Average to slightly average bitch, competes with other women to snatch a man that is clearly out of her league.
In the process she discovers shit about herself (and her sexuality), her needs, wants and desires, comes to terms with her paradoxes and cognitive dissonance (AF/BB is one) and, somehow the high quality man accepts her average crusty ass and makes her the queen of his monogamous empire forsaking all other high quality bitches in his harem.
The hero's journey is at least rooted in some objective reality of the male experience and personal transformation, whereas the bitch journey seems to be rooted in a collective shared fantasy of high quality men accepting women for their flaws and women overcoming that well deserved impostor syndrome (is it any surprise that women obsess about "authenticity", "fakeness" and general self-loathing).
Worthlessness and overcoming that well deserved feeling seems to be the general catalyst of that story line.
