There's good reasons those positions are the most common, they're easy to get into and feel good for both the guy and gal. @Lone_Ranger is right though, just figure out which ones you like and then ask her to do that.
Correct - there's nothing really as unattractive to a woman than a man that doesn't even know what he wants. When women say that they are attracted to 'self confident' men, they mean men that can lead. And knowing what you want and engineering the situation (whatever that may be) into what you want, that is what they mean by a self confident man.
