My girlfriend got on birth control about 2 months after we started dating. We've been together almost 3 years. She's talking about wanting to switch to IUD. There's no good reason for this, it's not like she's suffering from any side effects on the pill.
I've read stories of women that come off birth control and it totally fucks with their head, and their actual preferences towards men change. I've heard of women literally no longer finding their partner attractive lol.
This seems to be more common amongst women that are dating a "feminine" guy, with feminine features etc. This is the opposite of me to be honest, I look and am masculine (muscular physique, full beard, tall, strong frame etc. all the typical masculine features and traits), but still, the thought of her switching up after coming off birth control still kind of concerns me.
In theory things could change for the better for us, she could become even more attracted to me as her desires for masculinity increase even more with her natural cycle.
Thoughts? Am I just overthinking this and likely it's nothing to be concerned about?

I absolutely 100% support her decision. Hormonal birth control is awful for a woman's natural ovulatory cycles and fertility. You've been together 3 years. Time to just stop birth control and make babies. Go watch Rollo's video(or read his 2nd book) on ovulatory shift. You just time the alpha and beta stuff accordingly. It's way harder when she has hormonal birth control.

Why not see it as a test. If such a comparibly small thing is killing your relationship then it was never meant to last anyways.

That's a fair point. As I said, she'll have to come off it at some point, may as well give it a go.
It's something you never really think about, but studies have been done on this and have found that women's preferences do change on and off the pill. Fucking weird.

Yes, I know what an IUD is. I know there's two types of IUD, one hormonal and the other copper.

It's more effective than a pill
If she goes hormonal IUD there shouldn't be much change, basically a pill insert.
If she goes copper you'd see more hormonal changes
My point is you're overthinking it, and I doubt she has "no side effects" from the pill, as you state.
If you're masculine you shouldn't be worried about her being off a constant stream of pregnancy-mimicking hormones

I've seen research saying that hormonal birth control actually messes women up pretty badly, so this could actually be a good thing. The copper IUD is supposedly even more effective, and unless your dick is so huge that you hit the thing you won't notice a difference. And if you're worried about getting a girl pregnant, you should be wearing a condom anyways.
I think you'll be just fine. It might actually improve things.

Took my own girl off birth control, nothing changed too much. She mightve been weird for a bit, but it seemed to have balanced out.
