Let's hear your best shot at it, in your own words.
Only one rule: Try to define it in terms of what it is, not in terms of what it is not.
I find this a hard concept to put into words. I think I have an abstract understanding of it. But then again, if you can't verbalise something, you probably don't understand it all too well.

The subjective interpretation of an objective reality is called "frame".
The term "frame" was borrowed by pickup artists from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). The original concept goes like this: even if there is a single objective reality currently happening (e.g. It's 68 degrees and I am sitting in a classroom with 25 people listening to a lecture about physics), each person has their own individual interpretation of this reality. Different people notice different details of what's going on. Each person has their own set of memories they compare their current situation to. Each person has a slightly different emotional reaction to what's going on.
That is, everyone is looking at the same picture, but each person puts a different "frame" around it.
So frame is your interpretation of reality. The interesting thing is, when you're in a group of people you can draw others out of their reality and into yours. Whoever has the strongest frame wins.
Have you ever heard of those people who just waltzed past security and got backstage just because they acted like they belonged? Because they acted like they belonged there everyone else believed that they were supposed to be there and just let them through. That's maintaining frame.
If you wear a silly hat and think, "Man, this hat is ridiculous and makes me look stupid," then other people will think you're a loser with a stupid hat. But if you wear a ridiculous hat and think, "This hat is unique and the epitome of cool," then other people will be drawn into your reality and assume you're cool. (This is what Mystery is famous for.)
If you approach a popular kid (or hot girl) with the mindset "This person is way above me and probably has no interest in talking to me" then she will be drawn into that reality you created and think that you're a loser. If you instead approach with the mindset "I'm a cool person with interesting things to say and I don't give a fuck what anybody thinks about me" then they will be drawn into that reality and think you're a cool person. That's maintaining frame.

Whipping out the Richard Bandler and Mystery method. We really need to do some videos and resurrect their work but these kids won't be able to handle rocket launchers. Maybe it's better to let them get more experience with lifting weights and running London day game. :)

It's a mental state that places you and your needs as the sole determiner of your actions.
It isn't selfishness, as a man with solid frame can also be generous, kind, and giving. It's about the "why" behind your actions and your interactions with others.

Frame [definition]: a term used in male spaces to define a man's goals in life.

To make efficient and fast decisions, our brain uses mental models, depending on the situation and context. Hence you use different language with friends, at work, with your family or partner - without thinking.
Being in someone's frame means for your brain to use their mental model, which impacts your decisions and hence actions, especially the quick ones without deep thinking.
This also explains why frame is so important: you cannot fake quick decisions so they are a strong indicator of your mental state, which is constantly evaluated by those around you, especially by experienced women.

Frame: the basic set of assumptions shared by all participants in a given scenario

@Einsamer @RedPirate751 good takes
Whisper's post is succinct and with some examples of what frame control means at its basic level, here: https://www.trp.red/p/whisper/1654
That can be extrapolated into narratives over the longer term. Rollo explains it well here: https://therationalmale.com/2011/10/12/frame/

To me, frame is basically your reality, and if it's strong, then nothing shakes it off course; the opinions of others, society, or whatever it may be.

That is called having a strong conviction. It's not what frame means, but it's certainly helpful in order to impose your frame.

Frame is personal reality one is living in. Reality based on personal values.
For a man, weak frame will make him not content, strong one will make him content with himself.
Some values might change and then frame will change along. But some core values come from our hind brain and can't be overwritten (or if can, our species might cease to exist).

Ok. I'll try it without reading the others:
You can take it literally like a frame of a painting: Who is in the center of that painting? Is it you? Or your girl? So frame is who you're focusing your time and plannings on. Do you plan your day in the the way it accomodates you? Or do you plan it around the schedule of sb else (could be anyone, from boss, to friends to girls whatever)

I'm gonna have a go too.
To have 'frame' is to be in charge of your own internal narrative - to have the power of definition pertaining to yourself and your surroundings. To have 'frame' means to be resistant to shaming tactics and emotional manipulation.
