The other day I re-activated my Facebook. Im 28. I couldnt help but notice that a lot of my male friends from high school, some are doing pretty good for themselves, but a lot of them look like losers now. Obviously many are overweight, but a lot of them look depressed and kind of have that facial expression of failure or struggle. Even the ones with girlfriends are generally fat and starting to look like dads in an unpleasant way. They even kind of dress similar-ish to high school. I come from the suburbs of California but we had gangs too. So a lot of them dress kind of ghetto at almost 30 years old. They havent grown up.

Meanwhile on the other hand, a lot of my platonic girl friends from back in the day, I see them at 28. Some are a few years younger than me, some are older, so basically between 26-30, and a lot of them look better than at 18.

As in at 18 they were cute and skinny, but now theyre 27 which is technically post-wall, but they hit the gym and are thicc and nice style, and out of the awkward teen phase of a bad hairstyle or clothing style.

I think with the modern help of Instagram, a lot of girls have role models to emulate their clothing and hair style and beauty routines, and its helping them age better. I understand, theres only so much you can do to combat aging, especially for women, but a certain hairstyle and clothing style goes a long way. Especially if they keep up in the gym.

When I was 15-18 years old, only Facebook existed. And a lot of girls had awkward hairstyles. They only knew to dress how the locals dressed. Now girls are stealing styles from high fashion models in Italy or Australia. I hope people dont take this the wrong way, but when I drive by a high school now, I can notice a lot of teenage girls dress better and more like an adult, theres no more awkward phases for them. They just literally copy what they see on their explore page, from other girls who got it figured out.

To an extent I see the same thing with guys. They copy tattoos and clothing style from other guys who got it figured out. Its why no matter where in the world you go, every guy wears ripped pants or dangly earrings, has the same style tattoos, etc.

Anyways, I notice that a lot of my platonic girl friends look better. But i still woudlnt cuff them. Ill stick to women who are 18-25 years old. I do well with them still at 28. Even better actually.. I get bad attitudes from these post wall girls.
