I havent been on here since covid.
But anyways, I am a recent college grad with an Engineering Degree, and I dont know what to do. Not having a plan makes me feel uneasy. College was easy in that sense, I could see what the next 4 years of my life looked like.
I have an entry level Engineering job in a midwest state(Making above 70K), in the suburbs.I have been working for a few months. The thing is I live at home with my parents, and I want to move out at some point. Im unsure if I should get an apartment or just say fuck it and get a house. Also the market looks like its about to take a shit so i dont know if I should just wait it out till theres a crash.
Also my company has tuition re-reimbursement so I am thinking about getting a Masters in Engineering, since theyll pay for it, I dont know if this could bite me in the ass somehow.
Thanks in advanced

don't buy, you just graduated, rent a place. Be (mobile) with jobs in the next few years, it's how you move up and make quick increases in pay. Best increases are when you move to new company's.
Rent, max out your 401k. Get a rental in a cool part of town , big condo area, (where the girls are) and clean up.
Only do the masters if it makes sense. Will it really get you a better job, more pay? If you start with a company, you usually have to work for them for (x years) or you have to pay that tuition back. Think about that also.

Aaron Clarey has a book on this. How Not to be a Millenial. So far you picked the right degree so you're still in the clear. I would NOT buy a house in this market at these rates. That leaves you with renting or staying at home. It's up to you. If I could go do my life over again I'd rent right out of college and get a foreign wife. Oh wait, I did do that :). I then went back for a Master's later on after I was sure I wanted to continue in my field. I don't know if you have to do a bunch of testing to get into grad school but maybe getting admitted should be a priority while your education is still fresh.
