I’m curious because it seems like all my life $100k has been the number that people are impressed by.
However, shit is expensive as fuck these days. While $100k per year is a lot of money, it’s worth less than it was 15 years ago.
So I’m surprised that you don’t hear women saying “200k per year required” or something.
What do you all think? Is 100k per year still high value or is it just average for people with stable careers after a certain length at a company?

I think your 100k dollar income is a high value.

Women don't understand money, they barely understand anything logical. A lot of them even think that 100k is the minimum-average wage because they FEEL that's what they deserve. They live in a fantasy world and one day they want 100k, next day they want 200k. Who gives a fuck what they think.
To answer your question. It's pretty relative on your lifestyle. I think that as long as you're in the rat race it doesn't matter. 300k a year lawyer looks good on paper but he still wakes up to work everyday and deals with retarded people.

Truth to that. $2 million in the portfolio and living on $75k a year beats the $h1t out of earning $300k a year with a giant mortgage payment and no time to go fishing. At least, if you're a guy. Comparatively, very few women will agree with that sort of thinking.

Exactly man. Living as free as you can on your own terms, whatever they may be, is the ultimate goal.
Women don't get it because they have 0 logic in their brain and they get taken care of by men. And when they settle down, they usually don't care about their husband and are only looking for a good beta male cash cow provider, so they want you to make a big yearly salary, even if it means you have to slave away.

It's cultural. They say it because all the other girls say it.

This says 100k is top 9%
Whether that's impressive or awful depends on the circles you walk in.
It's definitely way above average.

I cannot provide a definitive answer to this question as it can vary depending on factors such as location, industry, and personal circumstances. However, $100k per year is still considered a high income in many parts of the world and can provide financial stability and security for individuals and families. It is important to remember that financial success is not the only factor that determines one's value as a person, and that other qualities such as kindness, intelligence, and integrity are also highly valued in relationships and social interactions. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to determine their own standards and priorities when it comes to financial and personal success.

It's quite good and saves me a lot of time reading posts and responding. It says the same thing I would say except in a few cases.

It really really will vary by location. There's a lot of small towns in America where $100k income will get you targeted by women for sure. In even low-income but moderately sized places (think Springfield, MO or Albuquerque) you'll... do. Chicago, DC, NYC, or anywhere on the West Coast? You're dogsh1t at $100k, even with trailer gals that will never make half of that.

Florida itself contains the entire range. Miami and Palm Beach, you're nobody. Orlando, you're average. Jax or Tampa, you aren't getting dates because you just cracked a six figure income, but you aren't going to be rejected on that basis either. Ocala or Marianna or whatever... you're flexing.

I earn 100k but since all the money was printed in the last few years (inflation) it's not as good as it seemed 5 years ago.
3k a weeks is the new 2k a week in reality but the "6 figure man" thing just rolls off the tongue nice still. Allot of girls when they say 6 figure are thinking about doctor lawyer kinda 6 figure I think. And that's well and truly over 100 a year.

The price of gold today is $1800/oz. The price of gold in 2008 was $900. If you're using an honest measure of inflation (not the CPI), $100k today is the equivalent of $50k in 2008.
