Whenever I see a guy walk into a bar with a few hot chicks, I immediately assume he's gay.

I am really really doubtful about this 'social proof' argument. I don't think it can work. Here's why;

1. Hot girls dont hang out with guy friends, unless they are doormat betas that can behave as unpaid drivers and servants.
2. Hot girls are unbearable, mostly because they are insane.
3. You think it gives you social proof- but when other chicks see a guy walk in with a hot chicks, they immediately think - Ah, he's in the friendzone. he's a sweet, friend zone guy. Maybe he will buy me drinks and amuse me, and then, when I find a bad boy to bring home, the nice guy will give us a lift? what a nice man.

it just doesn't work. I've had quite a few friends that were girls, and you can get a lot out of a friendship with a woman. But not with 'hot girls'. Hot girls are fucking insufferable.

Here is the thing: yes, they give social proof and they can even be used to network, but...

... Generally, they're going to be a net drain on you.

Unless these female friends reciprocate, they aren't your friends and you're just simping.

Case in point: I gave a female friend a ride to work today. Most women would see male effort and generosity as their due and not offer anything back. In this case, she thanked me by buying me some beer. Reciprocity.

If your female friends don't respect you like your male friends would, don't do it.

But after thinking about it. Having hot female friends, gives you social proof. Walking into a bar with a couple of hot women by your side, increases your SMV by a lot. And they can introduce you to other female friends of them. I could be wrong though, and in reality most women will bore me, because I don't have that much in common with most women.

You're right about the upsides but women are socially destructive. They won't recommend you to their friends unless they think you're hot, and if they think you're hot they'll engage in endless jealousy games and sabotage you and other women so that they can have you.

You can't maintain a social circle based on women because they're just too catty and disloyal.

It's a double-edged sword. If these women see you as high value, you'll have social proof and yes this will get you laid.

However it can also work the other way around. If they see you as a low value man, you will be instantly friendzoned by any girl they introduce to you.

The best girl I dated I met through having female friends. I met some girls through my mom, I showed them around my city when they were visiting, we had a great time and I ended up hooking up with one of them. That girl ended up being a hoe, but I kept in touch with the other 2 and when I moved to their city I started hanging out with them a lot. Never made a move as I appreciated having them as friends in a new city. They brought around a girl that never goes out, doesn’t use social media / ONL etc and we hit it off and dated for 3 years. Never would have found her without those female friends and if I did meet her at a grocery store or something she’d probably reject me as I had no social proof.

I wouldn’t necessarily consider them/expect them to be like actual friends. But yes 100% can confirm pulling up to the bar with dimes increases your SMV significantly and establishes social proof. Usually at the bars you’re in total strangers. If they see you in a lit ass group w dudes that look like they pull + some baddies all having fun and laughing the odds that you’re some kinda rapist creeper fall significantly.

That being said be prepared to be annoyed by these bitches asking you to spot them on cover/drinks and most likely never getting paid back. Sometimes they do tho. Also more often than not at some point one of em is gonna wanna get it on like donkey Kong and will get butthurt if u say nah
