Hi,
I have joined 2 classes.
class 1 = 1 hour for $9 level 1, then comes level 2 people same price 1h, afterward 2h or so party - another $6, levels are separated, beginners are taught basics from scratch
class 2 = all levels are taught together so 6 month person is with beginner, 2h for $10, on my and some other ppl first lesson guy tried to teach something between 12-20 moves nad during practice dance, he was throwing occasional new move sending waves of confusion amongst less experienced. No party.
Do you have exp which approach is better?
Thanks

I would choose ballroom dancing with as many students as the teacher can handle. This gives you the opportunity to practice with many different people and practice social skills with many different women. My goal would be to get good for as little money as possible and then go to actual dances. Then I would learn another style like Salsa, country-western, etc. It only takes like a couple hours to learn country-western line dancing and a two/three step.

I have never really heard of using ballroom dancing in real life in UK, but then I have never searched, salsa on the other hand anywhere you go

Yeah the UK probably has some kind of weird Mr. Bean dance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFtVaar1iwI

I can't dance for shit. I'm dangerous on the dance floor. I wouldn't mind learning ballroom dancing. Then I would be all sophisticated and stuff. Sounds like fun. Might even pick up a few plates along the way.
