We met in HS, she was a freshman I was a senior type deal. That's not legal in my state. She was very receptive towards me but I forced myself to never pursue her romantically because that would have been stupid.
I was blue pill and had oneitis for this girl and still wanted to see her so we would hangout as "good friends" quite often for the next year and a half. I go off to college, became more aware of redpill material and decide to effectively cut off communication with her, talk to other girls, lift, etc.
Two years later she reaches out and really wants to go out for dinner to catch up. She is of course 18 now. I pick a cool place, we go and she seems very giddy/excited to see me, to the point where it seemed impossible for me to bore her.
I know dinner dates aren't really great for creating attraction/escalating but I figured it was fine to just go in with no expectations and see what's up with her (and it seemed to go well).
I want to take her somewhere with more opportunities to escalate and see what happens.
I don't think I am making a mistake here considering the circumstances but want some input on it.
Thanks

If she is interested just escalate, explore that ass

I don't understand what your question is. It sounds like the dinner went well. If you're interested in her, invite her out again and see how things go.

Cool. Sounds like I was just starting to overthink things.

What happened after this?
How long ago was this?
Engineerwannabe 3y ago
Couple days ago.
Nothing happened after the dinner but as we left she kept talking about meeting up again.

I'm not sure what your question is......
you plan to meet her again and physically escalate (which you should have done last time)...... so what's the issue?

Okay I realized what my question should have been:
When meeting her again should I explicitly say it's a date? I usually don't do this. However since we were "friends" a couple years back I want her to get the message. For example she agrees to time and I respond "Cool it's a date" or something.
Or should relying on proper escalation be enough?

Even "it's a date" doesn't mean "sexual date".
Some suggestions:
refer to her as "girl" when you talk to her. Make her FEEL female and feminine.
tell her date and time and place.... if it's 50-50, it will feel like friends.

Try to escalate to sex.
Best case: you get laid.
Worst case: you don't.
