Gents,
I left my high paying job to start my own business. Business is good, but I'm strapped for discretionary cash and have bills to pay. I usually do a museum/coffee/walk in the park first date to see if the girl's even worth putting money or time towards, then follow up with paid dates in the future, but these add up. What are some of your best date ideas that don't break the bank when you're dating multiple girls? I live in an expensive city in the U.S. for context.

You don't. Why are you dating on a budget? You can keep your investment low with women until you fuck. That doesn't mean you need to be a cheap skate on every date though. Stop thinking about your dick for a few months and get your ass grinding or go back to your high paying job. Leaving your job when you weren't making damn near what you were making before was a mistake on your end.

I do this too. It's silly to pay for anything to impress on a first date. A drink in the evening, followed by a short walk and talk, then close the deal with a kiss. (I do online dating mainly now, so I know they are already interested in me). I cook pretty well actually, so I try to steer the conversation towards that topic, then invite them for to come over and cook something together. Once she said yes then you already got it. They basically invite themselves over afterwards and I don't spend much besides buying food, snacks and condoms

Meet her in public for a walk or any activity really, then bring her back to your place.
You're not spinning plates if you're paying for dates. That's for the beta bucks, and girls who you're courting to be your lovely stay-at-home trad wife i guess.

Don't date. At least not in the traditional meaning of the word. Spin plates. Meet up in a neutral public place the first time and if you can build rapport and like each other then do dates at your place or hers.
