I'm in community college full time. Next semester I'm enrolled for 17 units, but may drop a class down to 13 to accommodate for a part time job. If that doesn't work out then I'm going into small business for myself.
When a girl hears that I don't have a job, what's going through her head, is it an "oh :/" reaction? Would having a job make me more appealing (like a sales associate as opposed to working at McDonalds)?
edit: I’m not doing this for women, it’s all for myself. The question was just seeing if it raises my SMV.

job is more of like a beta bucks side. you need a place to bang and take her on some cheapass date. you do need to earn for doing these things but it's really not that much.
contrary to most of the autists here, if you have the face you can be moderately fat and broke but still get plenty of puss. if you aren't that facially gifted, hitting the gym is your go to plan.
you are literally going to college. plenty of young women there who prefers the alpha side to the beta side

Community college is already terrible for your SMV.

A job is important for Blue Pill beta provider game. Just be informed that beta provider game is entirely dead in 2022. It won't land you anything, maybe the friendzone.
So if having a job is important to YOU, then have a job. If living like a bum is important to you, then just do that. Just make your decisions and don't even consider the opinion of women. You don't need their validation. Just look at what makes the most sense for you now, make your decisions and own your mistakes.

Agreed. I'm not BP and don't have any interest in wasting myself like that.
Straight As rn in college, full load and have had time to dicker around a bit. Tired of being a brokie, doing this for me. Wasn't gonna get a job unless it was something that can grow me and pay well.

When asked what your job is say "student" and leave it at that. That is your job.
Intrepid_Place53900 1y ago
(is having a job at 22 important to overall SMV)?
For Casual sex, no For anything beyond that, yes
A girl who see's you as more than a ONS, quick fling, wants to know you have money.
For a girl who only wants to be in a LTR, you having a job, and an actual career, looking 5+ years down the road is a factor, she wants a LTR and you have to earn cash. Whether it be for marriage, kids , just paying for me, or that I'm not paying for your stuff, you have to. I wanna go to Miami this weekend, go with me, but I ain't paying.
Some girls will filter you out at the start for these things.
Oh, stay away from the girls who want/expect you to pay for them. = PROVIDER
Be a Rider, not a Provider.

You directly answered my question, thank you.
Exactly.

Jesus Christ the advice here is fucking retarded. No wonder americans are the most idiotic people on Earth.
Dude, you are in the wrong mindset/frame of your own self.
Having a job and learning a skill is IMPORTANT FOR YOUR FUCKING LIFE. Disregard women. Yes, not being a fucking bum will land you more pussy, but you should not operate within that mindset, because that is beta BUX.
You are 22, not 16, go fucking work and learn something on the side that has the potential to make you more money. Money pays for a good life, don't listen to some fucking losers on the internet telling you to do whatever you want in life 'cause the outcome is the same anyway, 'cause most guys here don't get laid anyway or they fuck 2 women/year.
I am 23, in college, full time developer and never went to school for that and I have 4 girls on the side. I was always jacked and had social abundance.
When girls hear that you don't have a job, they assume you live at your fucking parents house so you can't close properly and for them to come at 12am for that freaky shit, so they bum you the fuck out. That's why alpha men in their 30's and 40's have threesomes with college chicks, 'cause most guys their age are fucking bums.

I agree, some advice is bad.
Having a job and learning a skill is IMPORTANT FOR YOUR FUCKING LIFE. Disregard women.
Your assessment of me is wrong, but I totally agree with your points. I'm trying to carve out my path and put a dent in the world.
I'm starting to hustle. I had to give this semester of school my entire focus to ensure I could handle it. Registered a full load next semester with my classes smartly blocked out. 12 is full and I have 17 right now. May have to drop a 4 unit class if needed due to the job and classes smartly blocked out. This way I have time for a part time job while I work towards my transfer degree as I soul search and test out various classes. I'll run day game (LDM) at school and have at least 1 session a week practicing outside of it so I can become proficient.
Great job man, you're young and get it. We started at different places, but we can ride the same surf once I get moving along. You're obviously driven and know what you're talking about. I'll shoot you a dm.
Hearing this is important.
Yeah, those guys can pull cause hypergamy fucks up, not down, and hardly ever across. Even then, lets emphasize alpha men. I will be there, and before 30.

Most important to focus on increasing the longer term SMV.
imtranscending 1y ago
Those are great points, they still apply even though my trajectory is a bit different. Ideally, I'd like to become an actor. The transfer degree is so I don't remain a brokie and have career options. My side hustle is contingent on me getting this job or not, because I'm still gonna be in school full time no matter what. I just have this hunger to start making cash now, I can add that to my commitments.
I'll also start my ACT prep next semester, I'd like to get a perfect score. It's also why I take my classes seriously (4.0gpa), they're also a form of ACT prep. I'd like admissions to a top 20 school.
I'll be honest man, I'm still trying to figure all this out. So much can within the next 1.5 years, but whatever ends up happening, I'll give it my all.
AsianDude 1y ago
It's okay to have ideals, but understand that most actors don't make much money. The mainstream way to have a decent middle class life is typically through a STEM/Business/Law career. Of cos, your future is up to you to decide.
You seem behind academically. My personal opinion is to focus on your studies in the short term, instead of working. I took SAT for fun when I was 16 and got a decent score and got a perfect score for 3 topics in SATII after reading through the practice books after high school.
22 isn't young anymore. I have many peers that finished college in 2.5 - 3 years by overloading on credits, one guy even managed to finish his degree + masters in 3 years in an Ivy League school.

You'll never be a girl's first option if you're living with your parents, or living with a bunch of flatmates. In some cities, girls won't even look at you if you don't own a car, or at least a motorcycle.
So it's not really about having a job, it's more about having a car and living at your own place. Women don't care about how you make money as long as you actually have it and spend it on things that will show off your SMV.
Of course there is more to SMV than that ( nice clothes, luxury cars, travel, expensive dinners, and so on ), but I'm talking about the bare minimum.
imtranscending 1y ago
I agree, it's just basic independence. Logistics would also be 10x easier if I had my own place. Big things have small beginnings, I'm glad I'm taking this next step.
tyler123 1y ago
I know of guys who live with their parents, are drug addicts and work as newspaper deliverers once a week to finance their drug abuse pulling a different girl weekly. I don't think it's the job that seals the deal for the younger girls (up to 22y).
Positive-Lifeguard80 1y ago
They're just not playing beta provider game. The thing is that beta provider game no longer works.

I also know such guys but they all won the genetic lottery

Yes and no. Not many jobs give social status. I'm jacked and I avoid mentioning my job (Software Developer), unless I'm asked directly then I will tell it jokingly playing on stereotypes etc. If you say you don't have a job then that's a bad look since there's no way you could support her in any way. Also, you don't have to be honest, you can just be coy or amusedly joke you're a kid of a rich oil family, if you're always direct and no fun you'll be boring and imo come across as bb. Also never DEER why you don't have a job or why you work where you do, go look for the post "Always DARE never DEER", it'll explain something very important
The consequences of having a good job CAN raise SMV: nice car, nice clothes, well groomed, can go / take her on cool trips, afford expensive toys, ec.
