Well i work really hard to earn what I make. When I go on dates it's usually expected that I'd pay the first bill. Sometimes women insist but I know I should pay so I do. Some of them tell me that they'll pay for wherever we go afterwards like a bakery etc. But the amount send us wildly different. Let's say the bill for drinks and some food is 200 dollars and the bill for a souffle and coffee is 20 dollars.
Now I have to foot the larger bill. How do I stop feeling butthurt? Should I just chalk it upto "it's just cost of the game I am choosing to play" ?

Brother, you still got that blue pill mentality. This is 2022 in the prime of Feminism, where they make their own bank, pay their own bills, and the only thing you should be paying for is your half. When women insist on splitting the bill, it's a shit test. They're testing you to see if you're a beta bucks, and when you end up paying the full tab, you failed the test.
Like Vermillion said, what you do spend should be minimal at best. Like you said, you work really hard to earn what you make, and you need to be stingy as fuck about it. A $200 dinner is what you take your wife out for on your 20th anniversary. Unless you're vetting some chick up to be a wife, you don't should have to pay for any of her shit.

Most of the girls I fuck split the bill voluntarily on the date. I mean if you're going OUT with a woman, and unless you can find something absolutely free to do on a date (unlikely) than you're gonna spend SOME money.
You're being butthurt by having a negative attitude about spending money, it's part of dating.
But that being said, onestly, don't spend more than $40.00. if she splits like modern women should (mah independent women shtick) you'll be paying like $30.00 on a date MAX if you choose venues that aren't top dollar. You shouldn't be treating a woman to super fancy shit on the first date anyway. If you're trying to impress like that, that's on you for playing that game
I don't spend much on dates, if you're even considering $200 you're doing something wildly wrong with your venue choices or something. No way your bill should even get close to $70.00, any woman who needs that kind of a date should look for a provider.

Well i live in a big city with heavy taxes on food, drinks etc. And you can't really take a mildly classy woman to a shit place like a dive bar on the first date. I don't take her to like Michelin star restaurant etc but even a decent place costs like 180-200 for 2 people.
I don't date gold diggers. All my dates offer to pick up the tab but I tend to pay on the first date as it establishes my frame as a man. Later if she wants to pay she can and we can also split. And I have seen they are eager to pay on subsequent dates if I pay on the first.
But I can't avoid getting butthurt especially if I don't get the ass on first date. Which happens rarely due to anti slut defence. What kind of mindset do you have and how do you not consider a loss? Should I think of it as an investment?

Are you absolutely certain their is nothing in the city that is decent to take a girl to while keeping costs down? It's hard to think there is nothing around that fits the bill of decent pricing.
You should do a Google search of places in the area and look at their menus. I took a girl to a hibachi grill one time and we each split $25.00. that was much fancier than your typical restaurant choice but costs were still not obscene.
There have to be reasonable places in your area with a good vibe. There's just no way it's all expensive stuff.
Fuck that. Women made the bed of being independent and now they have to lie in it. I've fucked more girls that split the bill than ones I payed for. It's almost like paying for them reduces my chances of fucking.
If a woman pulls out her money, let her buy her own food. If she wants to come over for dinner on a second or third date or whatever, than sure, buy the ingredients yourself, but if she's offering, let her pay for her own meal and drinks.

My mindset is that it might cost $25-50 for that first lay between 1-3 dates, but that after that a girl will be dishing out sex without dates later.
I'm willing to fill up my gas tank with money, and same with sex. I'll spend money on a date to eventually get sex but I keep it limited. I know the sex will flow with very little cost later. That initial up to $50.00 investment will become just condom costs later

Pay if you have the means but get out of the mentality that you are paying so could fuck her because as life goes on price gets higher and higher. You are paying because you want your frame. So if you are paying and still looking for green lights then what are you really doing. And ver.... is right why is your bill so high even in a place like New York you could keep your bill under 100 for the whole night of fun. Don’t try to impress.
